The room was quite large and spacious, and we were lucky enough to get a spot where we could actually see the pool and the sea.

After check-out, you can still use the hotel facilities, such as the gym and swimming pool. However, there's only one shower room in the entire hotel, so if you're unlucky, you might have to wait a long time to use it.

Overall, it was very beautiful and satisfying. The style and atmosphere are much better than Potato Head next door.

I would definitely prioritize staying here again the next time I'm in Seminyak.

I loved this hotel when I first visited over a decade ago, and even though it's a bit older now, it still has its unique charm that can't be replicated. On our first night, we stayed in a three-bedroom cliffside villa, and the view of the magnificent Indian Ocean from the room was breathtaking. The way the pool seamlessly blends with the ocean makes for an endless, stunning panorama! The overall environment is fantastic! It has three bedrooms, a spacious living room, and a kitchen! Definitely worth experiencing! The only minor downsides were some tiny ants in the room and monkeys visiting early in the morning, but I assume these are isolated incidents that don't happen frequently. It was a truly unique experience!

We arrived at midnight on the first day, and the staff were waiting at the front desk to help us check in. We were very grateful for that.

However, when we got to the room, it was a bit of a shock. The room was incredibly small, and perhaps because it had just rained, there were many dead insects on the balcony.

But the next morning, when it was light, I discovered the view outside was absolutely stunning. Among the five hotels I've stayed at in Ubud, this one had the most authentic Ubud-style public areas. It's nestled in a secluded valley, surrounded by towering trees – truly beautiful.

Next time I visit, I'll definitely choose a villa. I imagine the experience would be much better.

I stayed one night at Alila Manggis because I was catching a boat to Gili T from Padang Bai the next day. I actually felt a little emotional when I left. From the moment I got out of the car, I was incredibly well taken care of. The staff remembered my name and asked if I had a good day, not in a standardized way, but genuinely treating you as both a guest and a friend. The hotel's design really impressed me; the lines are clean and crisp, and the light and shadows transform magically from morning to night, making every photo a masterpiece. The Eggs Benedict for breakfast was perfectly cooked, and dinner was even more amazing. Both the fish and steak were delicious, and my child said the Margherita pizza was the best they'd ever had. Eating it while watching the sunset was like a beautiful painting. There isn't much to do in the surrounding area, so it's perfect for quietly relaxing at the hotel, reading, swimming, and enjoying the ocean views. If you're catching a boat from the pier the next day, Alila Manggis is an excellent choice.

Pleasant stay, comfortable and convenient.
Though the hotel is abit of age, it is well maintained. Abit of wear and tear of the furnitures and cabinetary, but not significant.
Love the high floor, and it is quiet. Awesome view. Merdeka tower lights up at night magnificently.
Shower is a bliss! Good pressure and temperature. The shower gel smells authentic.
Staffs are helpful and pleasant.
I believed the botanico+co is managed by alila. The ala carte menu selection is limited, unlike the previous years ago, which is a shame. Food still acceptable although i wouldnt say it is great.
Surprisingly the guest toilet has unwanted graffiti. The staff should take notice this and ammend it.
Overall is a good luxury stay and super convenient location as it is linked to lrt.

I have to give a huge shout-out to our housekeeper Bella for this stay! From coordinating our needs before check-in to promptly replying on WeChat, and providing meticulous and thoughtful service throughout our stay, she was professional and kind the entire time. The hotel bedding was incredibly comfortable, the public areas were beautifully designed, and with Bella's attentive and warm service, we truly experienced Alila's unique sense of relaxation. Highly recommend!
