nice hotel with shops near by (metro is super close)
room was big and had good wifi
breakfast was packed - everyday different sometimes better and sometimes questionable small..
male staff is nice enough, the lady is super nice
place for work or lounge is good and spacious

The toilet of our hotel room was broken - could not flush properly. We also found a condom in the bathroom trash. When we called the receptionist to ask for help, he blamed us for putting tissue paper in the toilet. We barely used 2 pieces of tissue paper. Upon the receptionist’s instruction, we had to use hand to remove 2 pieces of tissues out of the toilet bowl. The toilet was still problematic. Then the receptionist said that they were going to assign a person to come to our room to fix the toilet. When asked, the receptionist did not mention specifically when, other than “tomorrow morning.” The next day, no one came to our room. We had to call the front desk at 8:30 AM to ask them for a room replacement. They finally give us a new room to stay.

The hotel has everything that you will need! Free drinks and snacks at the lobby, very stable WiFi, super efficient daily housekeeping, very polite staff, great location with bus stops and subway station nearby, working elevator, plenty of food options nearby, away from the city for a good night’s rest, etc! I will definitely want to be back here the next time I’m in Taipei 💙🇹🇼

Convenient location, just a few minutes away from from Exit 7 Songjiang Nanjing MRT Station. The room was quite spacious with a big tv and plenty of channels to choose from. Prepacked breakfast so not too keen, but there were many eateries and convenience stores around the area. Room showed tear and wear and some facilities need some urgent attention.

A very good option overall, especially for budget travelers. I would rate the hotel 5 out of 5 for cleanliness, location, and service.

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. Rooms and common areas were tidy and comfortable, which makes a big difference when you are staying at a budget property.

The location is excellent. It is situated very close to a metro station, which makes getting around Taipei very convenient. For travelers planning to explore the city using public transport, the location works very well.

Service was also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

In terms of amenities, travelers should manage expectations. The hotel provides the basics but not everything you might find in a full-service hotel. It is recommended to bring your own toiletries as only minimal items are provided in the room.

Breakfast is simple and delivered as a packed option, typically something like a sandwich or a burger-style item. It is basic but perfectly adequate. One nice touch is that the hotel offers free coffee throughout the day from a coffee machine and complimentary snacks such as chips and crackers at the reception area. They also provide bottled water upon request.

Overall, this is not a luxury or fancy hotel, but for budget travelers it is a very practical and comfortable choice. If you are looking for an affordable place that is clean, well located, and run by friendly staff, Tai Hope Hotel is a solid option.

I've stayed here multiple times now, and it's definitely the best value for money among the hotels nearby. When I first checked into a room on the 6th floor, there was a slight odor, but the hotel promptly upgraded me to a room on the 10th floor. Food delivery is also super convenient; after the delivery arrives at the lobby, a robot brings it right to your room.

I had a pleasant stay at Charming City Hotel. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby shops, restaurants, and public transportation. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided everything needed for a good night’s rest. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, making the experience even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money and is a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay. I would consider staying here again in the future.

I stayed at this hotel because I had a 7 AM flight from Matsuyama Airport. It's a small room, truly just a place to sleep. However, the bathroom and the bed were clean, and I slept comfortably. The corner of the bed in the photo looks messy because I pulled back the sheets to check for bugs. There's a FamilyMart nearby, so food and drinks weren't an issue. Matsuyama Airport is also within walking distance.

Beautiful hotel! The building is a little older but everything is very well maintained, the rooms are large, very clean, bright, comfortable and pretty, I've been travelling for 6 weeks now and this was the best place I stayed at so far. The staff are very kind and helpful, I had some issues due to a typhoon and had to spontaneously add another night but it all went smoothly. The location is excellent, you can even see the main station from the entrance of the hotel, that's how close it is! All the buses to all the sightseeing places (and everywhere else too, really) depart from the main bus station, which is even closer still (and Dongdamen night market is actually also still walking distance, takes about half an hour). Nonetheless it was nice and quiet at night. Plenty of convenience stores around too and a full supermarket is right next to it as well. Breakfast was good too! Would absolutely stay there again and now that I'm in the next hotel (definitely not as nice already)I kind of miss it already...

My stay this time was a bit disappointing, primarily due to the parking situation. Since we had a car and weren't planning on going out in the evening, the front desk lady very kindly directed us to the hotel's parking elevator. However, she didn't check the elevator's weight limit or our car's tonnage beforehand. Our car was already inside the elevator, but the rolling gate just wouldn't close. Later, another male staff member came over and only then asked us about our car's engine size and weight. I thought this was incredibly dangerous ⚠️. The car was so big and heavy; what if the elevator couldn't handle the weight and broke, causing it to fall? Car damage is one thing, but that woman would surely be in serious trouble, as she was standing inside the elevator operating it. I think you should really consider a different approach; this method is far too dangerous. No one should be standing inside the car elevator.
