The community around the hotel is clean and safe, the room facilities are complete and comfortable, although the room is not big, the service provided is still good, such as free taxi within 3 kilometers. There are churches and Hammer Museum nearby, and it is not far from Beverly Hills.

Deco is a bit dated, room ceilings looking industrial / unfinished. They made a mistake by not assigning us a Hollywood sign room and we had to complain to have this sorted, could have been easily missed if we forgot to say anything. Also the package receiving / handling process is messy with no proper system of tracking, I spent 30 mins checking at front desk when the receptionist insisted that DHL has not delivered it yet whilst I showed them on my app it had delivery confirmation, he then further asked me to show him who signed for it, and of course everything is done these days and would not have these signatures. Anyway when I got back into the room and I found the package already in the room, so much for their signing / tracking system (which is non-existent), complete utter mess!

Short trip in LA for visa applications. The hotel location is great, close to the VFS Global. Though in Trip.com website says the breakfast is not included, but the reception information BF is included which is a surprise.

When I was inexplicably leaving the store, I said that I had to accept Amenity Fee. It seemed to be 30 knives. I didn’t explain anything when I first checked in. I don't know if the corresponding cost is a disposable toothbrush.  There are drinks and snacks in the room, but there are no prices.  The hotel is relatively new, so health is OK. But the price is relatively low cost. Not recommended to stay! Can't talk about any good experience

This hotel on West 48th Street is perfectly located, just around the corner from Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, and the famous St. Patrick's Cathedral, all within a three-minute walk. Times Square is also very close by, and the subway station isn't far either. The hotel has recently been renovated, so everything feels very new and fresh. The front desk staff are friendly, and there's plenty of seating in the lobby. Getting to the Metropolitan Museum of Art or the Museum of Natural History from here is super convenient – you can take a bus or transfer to the subway. Plus, the New York Public Library is only a five-minute walk away and is definitely worth visiting for sightseeing or reading.

The location is convenient, the hotel is very clean overall, and the rooms are beautifully designed. The staff are friendly and allowed me to check in early. Compared to other local hotels, it offers free water, has good soundproofing, and free Wi-Fi. The bedding also provided a good quality sleep.

However, some electrical outlets in the room were not working, the lighting was insufficient, making the room a bit dark, the shower water pressure was low, and the towel rack was easy to knock over. This time, no rooms with a view were available, so the view of the building under construction across the street wasn't great. Also, there was an error in the deposit payment when I used my credit card.

This hotel is amazing! The rooms are very spacious. Everything is super clean and the highlight is the location. I usually don’t write reviews but this time I have to because I’m so glad I stayed at this hotel. I could easily walk everywhere but it was still calm around so it was truly amazing. 10/10 would recommend to everyone! The rooms have very big windows and you have a super beautiful view of the Empire State Building from the room, even though I did not book a specific room. Overall super happy! The staff was very friendly too and many things are complimentary such as wine hour and tea in the mornings!

It was a very pleasant experience staying at Kimpton the Shane. Home keeping was done everyday. Nice toiletries were provided, replaced as requested/required. We were there to visit the city but it also could be a nice spot for staycation as they have a lot of options of room service along with a bar and restaurant attached!

The front desk superviser (I think her name was Vee) and Alexis were wonderful, The blind date with a book was such a fun and awesome idea! The pool was beautiful, and the hotel itself had a lot of character. Great walking distance to Buckhead village, would definitely stay here again~
