This 40-year-old hotel is incredibly well-maintained and has a charming, cozy, vintage vibe. We opted for a Mount Fuji view room, and if the weather cooperates, you get stunning views of Fuji-san. Hotel guests also have access to the nearby hot spring baths, about a five-minute walk away, though a heads-up: those with tattoos are not permitted. The breakfast spread is fantastic, offering a wide variety of both Japanese and Western options. The hotel is conveniently located right next to the entrance of Fuji-Q Highland amusement park, and there's a fantastic Italian restaurant downstairs. The food there is absolutely delicious – I went three times during my two-day stay! Highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel during our visit to Mount Fuji. The room was clean, comfortable, and offered a beautiful view. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The location was convenient and made it easy to explore the surrounding attractions.
The only area that could be improved is the breakfast. While the quality of the food was good, the menu remained the same every day. It would be great if the hotel could offer more variety and rotate the breakfast selections daily, especially for guests staying multiple nights.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mount Fuji. The highlight was definitely the view from my room's balcony, where I could see both Mt. Fuji and Lake Yamanakako. Waking up to such a beautiful scenery was unforgettable.

I also loved that the room had a tatami corner—it quickly became my favorite spot to relax and enjoy the view. The hotel has two outdoor onsen, which were perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing.

Breakfast offered a great variety of choices, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the dining area provided a stunning view of Mt. Fuji while enjoying the meal.

The hotel is located on top of a hill, so getting there by public transportation can be a little challenging. As a solo traveler without a car, I really appreciated the complimentary shuttle service, which picked me up from the 7-Eleven at the bottom of the hill.

Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would happily return. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with breathtaking views of Mt. Fuji.

Good location! You can see Mt. Fuji right from the hotel, and the room was clean and quiet. Easy walk to shops and the station area. Staff were friendly and check-in was quick.
