Had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill. The staff were professional and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely loved our stay here. Rooms were very clean. Service was very good, every time we needed something, Guest Services were very prompt and responsive. Location wise, I loved it. It is a little far from the city but with the extensive public transport system at Stratford, getting around was very easy. Around the hotel, there’s also loads of food and shopping options. Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay with great service efficiency and comfort. We had two minor hiccups (extra breakfast charge & cold AC), but both were resolved on the same day by the front desk and maintenance team—very professional. Daily housekeeping was meticulous: personal items neatly placed back, towels replenished, and free toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.) available for daily pickup. The room had no odor, the water pressure was strong and clear, and we slept great in the clean, cozy environment. Highly recommend!

The hotel has a very nice view if you book a sea view room. The room is spacious as compared to other hotels in London. The staff is helpful. The location is slightly far from the tube station though there is bus station nearby, it is slightly inconvenient to go to the city centre like Piccadilly Circus. It is overlooking the river Thames which has a nice view. You can go to have a walk along the river if it doesn’t rain.

Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars is a great choice if you prefer a quiet and peaceful location while still staying well connected to central London. The surroundings are calm, making it ideal for families or travelers who want to relax after a busy day in the city.

In terms of accessibility, the hotel is about a 5-minute walk to the underground station, which makes getting around London very convenient. The bus station is roughly a 15-minute walk, which is manageable, especially if you enjoy a bit of walking. One highlight of the location is the pleasant river view, which adds a nice touch to the overall stay.

During my stay, there was some nearby construction, and a few roads were temporarily closed. While this didn’t affect the comfort inside the hotel, it’s something to be aware of when planning routes or arrivals.

The room itself was excellent—clean, modern, and spacious, which worked very well for me and my son. The layout was thoughtfully designed, with plenty of storage space, a comfortable seating area, and a well-organized minibar and wardrobe. The bathroom was also modern and spotless, with a spacious shower and good-quality amenities.

The staff were friendly and professional, meeting the expected Hyatt service standards. Interactions were smooth and efficient, making the stay easy and comfortable.

Overall, Hyatt Regency London Blackfriars offers a clean, comfortable, and well-designed stay in a quiet part of London, with good transport connections and family-friendly room space. Despite the temporary construction nearby, it’s a solid choice, especially for travelers looking for comfort, calm surroundings, and reliable service.

As a solo traveler, my stay at the Hyatt Regency felt comfortable, safe, and well-suited for independent exploration.
I booked a standard king room for a few nights of leisure travel. Check-in was smooth and efficient—the front desk staff were friendly without being overly chatty, which I appreciated as someone traveling alone. The room was clean, spacious enough not to feel cramped, with a comfortable bed, reliable Wi-Fi, and quiet enough for good sleep despite being in a busy property. Everyday essentials (toiletries, minibar basics, and strong shower pressure) were solid.
What stood out for solo travel:
•  Staff were consistently helpful and attentive when I needed directions, restaurant recommendations, or help arranging transport, yet they respected my space.
•  Common areas (lobby, restaurants, pool if available) felt welcoming rather than awkward. I never felt out of place dining alone or grabbing a coffee.
•  Amenities like the fitness center, pool, or lounge options gave easy ways to unwind without needing a companion.
•  Location access (depending on the specific property) made independent sightseeing or day trips straightforward, with staff ready to assist on taxis, transit, or local tips.
Breakfast (when included or available) offered variety and was a convenient start to the day. Service throughout was polished in the typical Hyatt style—professional and responsive.
Minor notes: Like many full-service hotels, it can feel large and convention-oriented at times, and rates (or resort fees at some locations) aren’t always the cheapest. Still, the overall reliability, cleanliness, and supportive atmosphere made it a low-stress base for solo travel.
I’d stay again for a similar trip. The combination of comfort, safety, and helpful service without pressure made it easy to enjoy the destination on my own terms.

Overall, it was a nice stay. The room was clean, and Christine at the front desk was wonderfully welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was good as well.
That said, our experience could have been improved with better communication and attention to detail. The main pool was closed for maintenance without any prior notice, making the remaining small pool incredibly crowded. We also noticed that basic amenities—like slippers, a bathrobe, a shower cap, and toothbrushes—were missing from the room and had to be requested. It’s a lovely property, but ensuring rooms are stocked and guests are notified of closures would make a big difference.

Everything is totally amazing and good while we are staying at the property. We enjoyed our stay especially the kids.. 

Only one thing I am concerned about is when we are requesting for a late check out because we checked in at 4pm but suddenly the reception person told us it's not possible because they are fully booked. 
But the rest we are happy for everything.

The whole apartment was huge with plenty of space for kids to run! The rooms were big too! We enjoyed our stay there! Bottles were provided in plenty upon everytime we request. Location is in a quiet area and have to take taxi to all the attraction but I would definitely want to stay here again. Highly recommended for big families.

The room was luxurious and stunning, and the front desk staff even upgraded us. The service was top-notch, and I'll definitely be returning often. The hotel's surroundings are also beautiful, with convenient access to dining, entertainment, and shopping. However, the hotel's management has significant issues, and many of the staff members clearly aren't on their game. We ordered cake and two coffees at the rooftop cafe, but only one coffee arrived. The dining area featured open-air market-style tables and chairs, which completely clashed with the price and the expected ambiance! I can only conclude that the manager has no idea what 'ambiance' means. It felt like they expected you to just grab a chair and drink your coffee, no fuss! What's worse is the locker room at the swimming pool. The locks were broken and wouldn't secure. When I went to the pool front desk, the female attendant said she couldn't comment on the men's changing room as she's a woman. I spoke to a staff member inside, who said several were broken and that the engineering team hadn't fixed them despite being reported. I then told the front desk staff, who admitted he knew some were broken, but this particular one I reported was 'newly' broken... These are definitely management problems.

I chose this hotel because of its convenient location in the Wujiaochang commercial district, making it easy to check in after shopping, and also for its ample parking. Despite being a 10-year-old hotel, the cleanliness is still well-maintained. The executive lounge offers a great view, a pleasant atmosphere, and a good variety of food. I was particularly impressed with the environment and management of the swimming pool and changing areas. However, I do have a few suggestions: First, the changing rooms at the pool didn't provide disposable combs, which was a bit inconvenient. Second, the quality of the breakfast buffet needs improvement. There were too few steamed items, and the variety was limited – for instance, there were no typical vegetable buns or red bean buns. The stir-fried vegetables were also sparse, only tough celery was available; I hope they can offer fresh options like broccoli and bok choy. Also, it would be much better to replace the pan-fried dumplings with classic Shanghai pan-fried pork buns. Third, only two bottles of water were provided in the room; I suggest adding two more. Fourth, the hairdryer in the room is quite old and should be updated for better comfort. Fifth, I recommend that the front desk assign two additional staff members on weekends and holidays to improve efficiency and also enhance their smile service training.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was a major advantage, with several shopping malls nearby, making it convenient for dining, shopping, and entertainment.

The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Although the outdoor swimming pool was unfortunately closed during my stay, the spa area was clean and enjoyable. Breakfast was tasty.

I would especially like to recognize Jayden, who was incredibly fast, efficient, and professional. I was genuinely impressed by how quickly he handled every request and resolved any issues that came up.

The hotel is somewhat far from both Shanghai city center and the airport, but if you have business or activities in this area, the location is excellent and very convenient.

Overall, a great stay with excellent service, and I would gladly return in the future.

Every time I choose Hyatt, it's for their perfectly thoughtful service. Even before arriving at the hotel, butler Xiao Chen had already meticulously arranged everything from my itinerary to parking, showing genuine attentiveness in every detail.

The hotel's location next to the Dishui Lake Planetarium offers a unique and excellent view. Even on a rainy day, I could see fireworks lighting up the sky, their brilliance an unexpected delight amidst the misty water.

The entire hotel is elegantly beautiful and very photogenic. A weekend stay here, even just for a leisurely stroll, is enough to enjoy some gentle, relaxing time. Beautiful, highly recommended.
