Very friendly staff. It was just an OK stay. The room was a bit run down, common areas were very nice though. The ceiling fan was very noisy because it wasn't really mounted well. It did have a nice restaurant and spa facilities. Two pools were great and the clean beach access was the best. Having a gym was a pleasant surprise. There was a block wide power outage due to power line upgrade and I was grateful they had a generator to keep things going for 8+hours of having no power elsewhere. I personally probably would not want to stay here again.

The staff made me feel so welcome and nothing was too much - even accommodating my dietary requirements as much as possible. They really helped make my travel easy and comfortable.
The pool area is lovely and relaxing, rooms are basic, but clean and it’s ideal for the airport or as place to stay before onward travel :) there’s also a rooftop bar for sunset!

A green hotel, very close to the sea, and the view from the room is amazing.

1) Breakfast wasn't very tasty, and the food at the hotel wasn't particularly good.
2) The rooms are very spacious and have everything you need.
3) Parking is available right across from the hotel.
4) You exit the hotel, turn right, and walk along the road where you'll find restaurants, cafes, and shops. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to a good restaurant, which is fine overall; you can enjoy a stroll.
5) There's a volleyball court inside the hotel, and we played a game.

Overall, it's good, but the hotel itself isn't new. If you're staying for 2-3 days, it's a great option, but for a week, it's probably better to choose another place.

Amazing hotel with a lot of care and thought put into the little details. Feels very unique with the suites having a very architectural type feel, example recsess in the bathroom for light features and shelving etc. the door however had an old rusty handle which would fault, locking you in! Had to leave the door open propped by a bin. The pool is beautiful although not as clean as our previous hotel at Heritance Negombo, a few doors up. The power also cut out 10+ times over an hour period. Maybe the switch between solar to grid needs to be upgraded. The single lift is also very old and tiny. Definitely needs an upgrade. Spa was good, breakfast was fairly standard however fresh pancakes were a treat after 2 weeks of eating stale hard ones at other buffets haha

After several transfers, we finally arrived at the hotel just as a torrential downpour began. Watching the lightning and thunder outside my window, the waves crashing against the rocks, and the strong winds whipping the swings around, filled me with utter bliss 🈵.

Then we went to the restaurant. Dinner was served until 10 PM. The sushi 🍣 and seafood platter were delicious, but I wouldn't recommend the other dishes as they didn't suit my Chinese palate. It was quite expensive though, costing over 500 [local currency] (picture 13).

The next day, as I'd hoped, was bright and sunny. I was thrilled to see the hotel's full grandeur. During breakfast (picture 14), I looked up and saw a squirrel in the tree 🐿️.

I wandered around the hotel and was moved to tears by its beauty! Many friends traveling to Sri Lanka use Negombo as their first night's stopover, and I highly recommend this hotel to kick off your entire trip with an amazing experience 📸.

📍Jetwing Lagoon Wellness

The feeling is very good, except for more bugs. The spa is very special! Like it, it is recommended to feel it. Check in first came a light ceremony (this is one of Sri Lanka's highest courtesies to VIPs, integrating Buddhist water supply, light blessing and flower purification into the core link of ”Welcome Pooja (Pujia welcome ceremony)”, which means praying for you: safe journey, clean body and mind, and all the best.)
After the room was arranged, the service staff brought the check-in introduction and sent the juice (Sri Lanka juice freedom, 0 added), and the housekeeper sent us the luggage later. The next day's activities, from 5:30 to 6:30, there will be yoga (not very strong, mainly relaxing and happy), there will be a healing spa at 9 o'clock, breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 (breakfast slot: very slow! If the spa is about 9 o'clock, you can come to breakfast at 8 o'clock).

An amazing hotel, incredibly spacious with private villas. It's so quiet and serene, directly facing the Indian Ocean. You can walk right out to the beach and fall asleep to the sound of the waves at night. The service was also very friendly.

Chongbawa Hotel is super warm. I went during the rainy season and swam alone at night. They even had staff specially put on music for me, which shows great humanistic care in the details. Although there was a language barrier, it was very good. The hotel is also incredibly beautiful; it's hard to believe it was built thirty years ago. Most importantly, the toiletries smell amazing!!! Super amazing!!

The hotel staff were friendly and approachable. Food from the hotel kitchen tasted good and was well priced. Rooms were clean and there was a pool just outside my room. It was possible to clearly hear people playing in the pool, or eating by the room, when I was in my room. This was not an issue for me bu if you need more privacy, I would recommend looking for a room further away from the pool.

This is the best hotel in all Sri Lanka!!! Kitchen, service, privacy, location - all on the height! In the hotel only 30 rooms, people are not, even with full load, you are as if you are alone! Pleasant uncrowded beaches with a pleasant ocean. You can walk on the shore on duty. The hotel feeds on the menu, each dish is an art piece. Butler is doing whatever you wish. Take the hotel for breakfast and didn't regret, dinner paid themselves, they are more expensive than in restaurants on the street, but such a kitchen you won't find anywhere else! A chic wine card! Rooms are comfortable, we had a room with a pool. The day before leaving the hotel made us a bunch of gifts and we were very happy! We definitely will return to this hotel and not once!

Needless to say jetwing, Lanka's high-end resort hotel brand. Although this is a franchise store and not a direct store, it uses its management team and its products. Small details need to be strengthened. A lot of food is shipped from the lighthouse hotel next to it, so the service time is relatively long, there is no bathtub, and the water output is slightly smaller. The manager is very enthusiastic and the service is in place. The other waiters are less experienced in internships and have poor English communication skills. Overall it is good, the environment has nothing to say, the quiet and private is generally satisfactory.

周邊就是窮鄉僻野，吃的需要打突突車
環境還不錯，印度洋海灘上
衞生也比較乾淨
很小沒有前台，更像別墅的民宿酒店很安靜
晚上海浪聲很大

The welcome drink was a hot soup, which was perfect for warming us up after coming back from the lake feeling a bit chilly. Our room on the third floor had a large bed and two additional single beds in a loft. The mattresses were a little soft, but there was an electric heater, which was a nice touch. Overall, the place had a great atmosphere. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent, and the staff were very friendly, proactively checking in with us for our satisfaction during both meals.

This is the guesthouse that touched me the most. With only a few rooms, guests truly feel at home. The staff member's service attitude was top-notch. When we first checked into our room, for some reason, a pipe leaked, turning the entire bathroom into a mini-flood. The staff quickly handled it and arranged for us to move to another room. Since we were hiking Horton Plains at 5:00 AM the next day, he kindly packed our breakfast in advance. I've had packed breakfasts before that were surprisingly awful, but this one was amazing – generously portioned, I even gave one to our driver, and the two of us shared one. The packaging was simple, but the contents were incredibly rich: two sandwiches, two different kinds of fruit, and several small cakes, all individually wrapped, plus a bottle of mineral water. The funny thing is, I never eat sandwiches at home, but this time I discovered they're actually quite delicious! It's clear the owner doesn't cut corners just because it's a small place; they genuinely care about their guests. If I ever have the chance to visit again, I'll definitely choose this guesthouse.

🍃This century-old English mansion in Nuwara Eliya, with its white walls and black tiles, is surrounded by rainforest trees and shrubs, and the breeze on the lawn carries the scent of fresh, earthy grass.

🍃Butler Sanath provided exceptional service, from helping with our luggage and cleaning our rooms to preparing thick blankets and hot water bottles for us in the evening. He was very attentive. He told us they offer lawn garden dinners, which we had booked for tonight.

🍃As dusk settled, we sat on the cool lawn, watching birds circle back to their nests, listening to their chirping, and seeing the warm yellow light of the old house spilling through the windows. We enjoyed a four-course dinner, surrendering all our fatigue to the lush greenery.

🍃I loved it here and highly recommend it.

Especially good this place is perfect. In fact, I live in a villa, there is a housekeeper, especially good, and the food I eat is also very good. I lived for two days and drink the sea food soup every day. It was delicious and the room was especially clean. It was obvious that it was an old house, but it was really clean and it was very cheap. We two people, the appetizer, the soup, the staple food, and ate 155. The service is so good, the butler is very polite and gentle. Breakfast needs to be selected the night before. The butler also asked us if we need the menu of the main building there. He can get it back in 5 minutes, but I chose to eat here because I want to drink sea food soup. I will come out and ask what is the taste, delicious, really. I really like this place, quiet and fresh. Because I had to get up early in the Horton Plain, I told the butler the first day to take breakfast. It’s a great place to take a lot of photos, but unfortunately only 9 photos.
