Very conveniently situated beside a train station and tramt stop with abundant shopping and dining. A short walk away. My apartment clearly had not been clean thoroughly with food left in the fridge from a previous guest and bed sheets were not tucked in properly. Apartment looked dark and gloomy due to the colors of the carpet and Furniture with numerous scuff marks on the white walls. Maintenance needs some serious attention.

Perfect location and an excellent place to stay. The hotel facilities are practically brand new, and both the reception staff and housekeeping team were friendly and professional throughout my stay. I stayed for more than a week and thoroughly enjoyed my time at this serviced apartment. The rooms were comfortable, well maintained, and had everything I needed. I would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The room looked nothing like the pictures – it was dark, old, and had a strong, unpleasant smell when we walked in. Even after airing it out with open windows, the smell persisted. It's an older hotel, and when you enter, you're greeted by two single beds. My 180cm-tall husband found them too short to stretch out comfortably. I'm giving it three stars, two of which are definitely for its great location. I originally chose an apartment because I didn't want to eat Western food and hoped to cook, but the facilities and the smell completely put me off from cooking. The location is very convenient; the tram is just a 5-minute walk away, and shopping is easy. Flinders Street Station is less than 10 minutes away, and Chinatown is also about a 10-minute walk. It's also very close to the State Library. Since the hotel's internet was so slow, my kids ended up going to the library to finish their online classes using the public Wi-Fi, and the study atmosphere there was excellent.

Thank you for a lovely stay. The place is modern and well-equipped with everything we needed — kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, and other useful amenities that made our stay comfortable. However, I noticed that one of the pillows in the bedroom had a lingering perfume smell, possibly from a previous guest. This felt a bit unhygienic and could be improved by ensuring all bedding is completely fresh and odor-free for new guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope this small detail can be addressed for future visitors.

I had stayed in Punthill Ivanhoe for several times in past few years. Our experiences were very good each time. The staff were helpful and kind. The rooms were neat and tidy. I highly recommend to other travelers wishing to stay in Heidelberg or Ivanhoe.

I’ve stayed at numerous at the Punt Hill apartments over the past decade, though it had been a while since I last stayed in one.
Our one bedroom apartment was spacious, however the hotel is quite run down now.
Walls in the bathroom weren’t very clean, neither were mugs and cutlery (I always make a habit of cleaning things before I use them!).
I ended up staying mostly in the hotel as I was sick with the flu so I noticed the wifi was very glitchy and intermittent too so it made streaming shows quite difficult to watch that I ended up just using my phone.
The beds were comfortable though!
The location is actually fantastic too, right in the heart of China town and easily walkable to places.

The room is large and the alley is quiet. On the first floor, flies will come in when windows are opened. Bed linen was not changed for three days. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped to cook and do your own laundry.

Stayed here for a wedding near(ish) and booked to be with others.
Smart, new block, overlooking a large lake and distant freeway on one side and the car park of the shopping centre that this is above on the other.
The apartment itself - obviously quite new. Generally clean and comfortable and well equipped, although we had to chase reception to get more than two coffee pods for our stay and more than one fork! (Quickly and easily remedied, but surely should have been checked during room prep?).
Small supermarket and huge bottle shop on ground floor, with various cafe and restaurants (Palestinian one with superb food).

The traffic is very convenient, the tram station is not far away, walk for a few minutes, take the tram to enter the city.

We booked Punthill Apartment, because this is one of only a few options of apartments in Oakleigh area, and we needed to be closer to my daughters rental home in Oakleigh.

Apartment has good location : walking distance to Chadstone Mall, and to Oakleigh Central.

The Downside is :
1. There was nobody at the reception, if you have an early flight arrival and was there early.
2. The location is right by Princess Hwy. The traffic noise is unbearable especially at night. Even at 2 am sometimes there are cars or motorbikes with noisy mufflers still speeding by noisly. 
Suggestions : maybe it is time to double glazed the windows.

3. One of the reasons I chose this apartment was because it has an in house gym. I was hoping my husband and I could do our routines exercise in the morning. But we were very disappointed as the equipments were not provided as pictured in Trip.com. There were only a few Dumbells at the rack, all with heavy weights, so not suitable for women. And there was nothing else  Not even fithess bench. No pull down machine as pictured in Trip.com

Other that that, we found that the apartment served our needs during our one week stay.
