The room was very clean and wonderfully warm when I visited in winter, with the heating on 24/7. It's right in the heart of Banff town center, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. There's a parking lot next door, which is also where some airport shuttle pick-up/drop-off points are located. I was dropped off right at the hotel parking lot by my airport shuttle and picked up from the same spot for my return flight, which was super convenient.

Pros: Extremely good location. They have an attached restaurant and cafe right next to the hotel. Very clean facilities. Rooms spacious and has nice views of the town. Staff always very polite and helpful in giving recommendations and allowing us to use the telephone. Able to store bags there after checking out as well. 
Cons: no safe provided in the room

Starbucks is right across from the lobby. There's a small path behind the restaurant so you don't have to follow Google Maps and go around in circles. The restaurant doesn't have an elevator, so staying on the second floor is a bit inconvenient. The location is far from the city center, so you need to drive to the city.

It is a good hotel near Jasper. The hotel faces the Pyramid Lake and the scenery is beautiful, but the facilities in the house are average. The bath water was not hot that night and it could not be washed into a hot bath. It may be concentrated for use.
