This hotel is indeed great. While 240 a night isn't exactly cheap for this area, compared to what you'd pay in China, it's absolutely fantastic value for money. The water quality is also really good; after two nights, the filter in the showerhead barely changed color. Although the water still felt a bit oily, it must be very clean, especially since my filter turned yellow after just one night on Nusa Penida.

The hotel has a restaurant, and for around 50 per person, it's pretty convenient – no need to go out and worry about hygiene.

What's more, it seems some Chinese genius advised them, as the bedside sockets are actually Chinese standard, which is super convenient as you can use them directly. You'll still need an adapter for the counter and bathroom outlets though.

As usual I am never disappointed when I stay here at Cross Paasha Seminyak. Location is central with lots of shopping and food options close by. The rooms are spacious with daily room service. I always enjoy my breakfast in the morning, with small buffet and/or a la carte options available throughout the day. Restaurant and pool on the rooftop with nice views. The service from staff, from the moment you check in, to room service and restaurant is amazing. So friendly and helpful. Value for what you pay, compared to other places i have stayed at in Bali.

What a delightful property. Absolutely loved it. Staff are very warm and friendly. Service is excellent. The property has multiple pools, a very well appointed Spa (though a bit pricey) with a range of treatments we have not seen in some of the most renowned Spa's including sound healing, therapeutic treatments, injury, relaxing or stress relief treatments, Balinese, Ayurvedic and other holistic treatments. Amazing! The restaurant onsite has a nice variety of multi cuisine food and the preparations are excellent so kudos to the Chef! We did not plan to but ended up eating most of our dinners at the property restaurant instead of dining out. The only downside would be the slightly off the beat location that required our car service to go over some very rough road patches on the way. But all in all we would highly recommend staying here and would probably come back for another visit.
Oh, and almost forgot....the Mimosa as a part of the breakfast buffet was a delightful touch!

We have stayed about four times over the last few years and it has been getting progressively worse and run down. The breakfast is boring, seldom changes. The room often has no towels as they are waiting for them from the laundry, and also they forget hand towels or bath mats. We had no water at all one day, and when it did come back on it was cold for a few hours. No warning and as we had been at the beach for the day we were looking forward to a shower before dinner! The bathrooms are very old and extremely filthy with a build up of grime around the sink and tap ware. Our bed was 2 singles pushed together but it was so big the sheets didn’t fit properly so you could see the grimy mattress beneath and there was an unavoidable gap in the middle. Also the bed was pushed against the window so one person had to crawl down the bed to get out of bed. The staff are extremely friendly and the location is great and pools are very good. But we won’t be back again … it’s old now and there are better nearby for same price or even less!

Travel period: May (from the 18th, 2026)

🌴 Hotel and overall impression

A perfect hotel for a romantic getaway! My boyfriend and I went to Bali, and the hotel immediately made a great impression. Even before check-in, we requested a quiet, secluded room with a beautiful view – and our request was handled with great care. What's more, our room was decorated for our arrival: towel swans, roses, welcome fruits, and a delicious cupcake as a congratulatory treat. It was really sweet.

🏡 Villa (No. 7)

We stayed in Villa No. 7, which I consider to be the best villa. It’s incredibly private, set away from the main paths, and offers views of the distant jungle rather than common areas. You can also see a small part of the main pool from above. The villa itself is spacious, with a large, comfortable bed, soft pillows, and a comfortable (for me personally) non-wooden mattress.

What delighted us daily:
they replace toiletries: toothbrushes, toothpaste, razor, comb, sewing kit, cotton swabs, and pads. There's also soap, body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. Body, hand, and face towels, plus paper towels. They also provide water in a glass bottle for brushing teeth and separate drinking water (in the room).

The only drawback:
the water is poured into a shared glass bottle, and it's unclear if it's properly washed after previous guests. We found lipstick marks on the neck of our bottle, meaning it wasn't washed, just refilled with fresh water. Luckily, there are free water coolers in the common areas, which helped a lot.

Regarding cleaning and linens:
the quality of the towels and bed linen, of course, doesn't compare to Turkish service (where everything is new and perfectly ironed). Here, you can tell the towels are a bit 'worn out'. But for us, this was a minor detail.

🍽 Food

Breakfasts – simply amazing.
It's à la carte. You go to the restaurant on the 2nd floor and choose: traditional (all with eggs), vegetarian, Indian cuisine, Balinese breakfast, and more.

Definitely try: burrito with omelet (very filling and delicious), Dutch eggs on toast, pancakes, waffles, French toast, smoothie bowl.

Coffee: Balinese coffee, cappuccino, Americano, latte, and other options. Very decent, good coffee. Moscow coffee shops are now a distant second.

In addition, there's a general buffet: Indonesian/Balinese cuisine (rice, soups, chicken, spices), salads, cereals with milk, waffles/pancakes, smoothies/oatmeal, fruits (watermelon, melon, papaya, and others). Dishes change every other day. You can serve yourself drinks: juices (not freshly squeezed – a common issue across Bali), lime/strawberry/cucumber infused water.

Lunch and dinner:
We mostly ate at restaurants outside the hotel, but we had dinner at the hotel a couple of times and ordered room service. The food was 5+++, everything was high quality, delicious, and portions were generous. The seafood pizza was superb. The drinks were tasty. The only thing is the prices are higher than elsewhere, but it's worth it.

🏊 Common areas

Pool: sun loungers were always available, we never encountered anyone, the area was almost empty. When we went, there was nobody there at all.

Gym: treadmill, exercise bike, dumbbells, water cooler, air conditioning, speaker – you can connect your phone and listen to your own music.

Air conditioning: worked perfectly both in the room and in common areas.

🚌 Service and staff

The staff were very friendly and responsive. We hadn't even arrived yet, and all our requests had already been answered. They asked if everything was good, if breakfast was tasty – all without being intrusive. Sunny people.

The hotel offers a free shuttle to the center, and there are paid activities. There are umbrellas in the room – in case it rains (the weather in May was great, we were lucky).

📌 Conclusion

This hotel is ideal for a romantic trip if you value privacy, excellent breakfasts, and a warm atmosphere. Don't expect Turkish luxury (the worn towels and water in the bottle are minor negatives), but the overall ambiance and food quality outweigh these small issues. I would definitely return here again. The hotel's design is very inviting.

Overall, it was a pretty good stay, though the hotel itself is a bit dated. It's located within a large complex, and you have to go up a really steep slope to get to the lobby. The hotel overall feels quite small; there's no public pool, and the lobby is on the second floor with the restaurant on the third. I only had breakfast, and there weren't many options, plus you could only order one item per person, so if you're really hungry, it won't be enough. Since the hotel footprint is quite compact, some rooms open directly onto that steep slope leading into the hotel, so luckily my room wasn't there. My room was a duplex: the -1 floor had the private pool and living room, the main entrance was on the first floor, and the bedroom and bathroom were on the second floor. For the price, it offered excellent value for money, and it was also quite clean.

The overall facilities and environment are decent, but the check-in and check-out times are completely unreasonable. You can't check in until 3 PM, yet someone was knocking on the door by 11 AM the next morning to rush us out, and they were quite rude about it, which really soured the experience. On top of that, the air conditioning in the room couldn't be adjusted, making it very inconvenient. I really hope the hotel can improve its service procedures and room amenities.

We booked a 7 people family room. There are 3 rooms inside. The living room and dining room are spacious. Floor has heating. View at the patio is great.
The master bedroom has bath tub, but if you take a stand shower inside the bath tub, the water will spill out. Other than that, everything is good.
The family room is good for a big family.

This was my first time staying at Sonopet for a vacation, and my room was on the 11th floor, so it had a great view. ♡
It was nice to be able to walk around the building without worrying about large dogs.
There were also restaurants that allowed dogs, so I didn't have to worry about what to eat. I was worried because of some poor reviews about cleanliness, but
my dog came by, so I thought it was fine!!
I didn't experience any discomfort or inconvenience while using the place.
However, perhaps because it's a tourist attraction, everything was so expensive that I was a little apprehensive.
Aside from that, I was very satisfied!!
The playground was very well maintained, which was nice. If there was even the slightest noise, a staff member would come and watch and take appropriate action. The water spraying on the dogs was a bit awkward because I wasn't used to it,
but I quickly got used to it.
It was such a satisfying stay that I'd definitely come back in the winter.

The hotel's location is convenient for skiing, and the room was clean and tidy. This room type is great for families with children. The only downside is that the underfloor heating was too hot and couldn't be adjusted. Also, there were no disposable toiletries or slippers provided. I hope this helps others when considering their stay.

A very great place for family to visit and spend vocation there. With a lots funs and beautiful views. We went there for ski. Will come again when we have vocation again. The Hotel is very nice clean. But doesn't including the breakfast. We paid separate for our breakfast. Buffet breakfast was so many kinds of foods. If you come you should pay addition for their breakfast. It's won't disappoint you.

We stayed at Sono Cam C hotel building at 312 room. The view is Ulsan Bawi with Pine tree on the side. Room was spacious with two double beds. The shower water in the bathroom is natural spring water which makes my skin softer. Overall great hotel with nice view if you have a car. We didn’t have a car so spend quite a bit for taxi to everywhere. We didn’t have meal there so no comment on foods. The bakerys were okay.

The room's cleanliness was generally good, but the hotel's location is quite far from the city center, which is really inconvenient without a car. It was hard to get an Uber, but thankfully the front desk staff were great; they helped me call taxis a few times and were very patient, which I appreciate! The hotel is part of a resort. I had fried chicken downstairs, but for other meals, I took a taxi to the city, which cost nearly 100 RMB per trip. If you're staying at the hotel, you get a 10% discount at Ocean Play; remember to mention your room number when buying tickets at the front desk. It's divided into a sauna and a swimming pool. I mistakenly went to the outdoor area of the sauna, thinking it was the famous Instagrammable pool, but there are still outdoor hot tubs there.

As the closest hotel to the sea and the island, the view itself is a picture.
Jukdo Island splits the East Sea, creating waves in both directions and forming shallow sandy beaches. This creates a unique space where fish and shellfish gather, attracting seagulls and ultimately creating a sea of seagulls.
