"I stayed 3 nights, ate every dinner there and would absolutely come again! I was super lucky to get an upgrade on arrival (see photo of the view from my balcony 7am in the morning) I‘d read that staying 3 nights was too long, but for me it was perfect. I did the dazhai to ping‘an hike one day and took the gondola up the next day. On my last morning they even drove me down to the parking lot to get on the right bus. Super sweet! Only minor issue: my room was a non-smoker room and it really did not smell of smoke at all unless I tried to use the aircon. Somehow the air coming out of the aircon smelled of smoke. For me that wasn‘t a huge issue as I decided not to use the aircon & was fine."

"Had a wonderful stay here! The owner was incredibly sincere and even offered personal pick-up and drop-off services. They were also very enthusiastic in providing travel tips and helping us plan our itinerary. A pleasant surprise was the fantastic room location; we could see the breathtaking terraced fields right from our balcony, and we were even lucky enough to catch the sunrise there. I must also mention that the owner's cooking was absolutely delicious! This time, I got to see the 'mirror' terraced fields, and I'm already looking forward to seeing the golden rice paddies here in autumn."

"[Perfect Stay, Highly Recommended!] The guesthouse's design is absolutely fantastic! The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a direct view of the mountains, making every casual photo look like a professional shot. The bedding is skin-friendly, the bathrobes are soft, and quality shines through in every detail. The butler service was attentive, and the breakfast was authentic and exquisite. We even received a handwritten postcard upon check-out, which was a lovely touch. This is definitely a hidden gem worth revisiting!"

"Generally ok, but we were there just before the season and this could be seen. The rooms was nice and spacious with comfortable bed. The common areas could use some cleaning though. The pool was being prepared for the season during our stay. There are also building some parking space in front of the hotel, which interfers with the nice view. The location is perfect, a few minutes walking to the viewing platform one. The staf were helpful, booked a bus to Guilin for us and dropped us to the bus station."

"We came at an unfortunate timing. Faced with fog and rain we are unable to venture out to enjoy the rice terrace view. Stayed in our room to see the nearby rice terrace. Settled our meal within the hotel. Lady boss was a good cook being able to showcase many local dishes. If better amenities can be provided that will be ideal - proper towels (not disposable), complimentary coffee. Nevertheless overall it’s a great stay."

"This hotel is at a an absolutely stunning spot! Our room on the 5th floor offered a splendid view over the Longji rice terraces (Dazhai, Tianthouzhai), very close to scenic spot No. 1). If you like to hike, it‘s also a good location. We walked down on a beautiful path to Dazhai and from there up to the Golden Buddha Peak, which is at the upper station of the cable car. For going down to the Dazhai Parking Lot we took this cable car, a 20 minutes ride (55 RMB one way, April 2026). To get back to the hotel you can take the tourist scenic bus and walk the last 5 minutes up to the hotel. We can highly recommend this hotel! It is perfectly clean and we very much liked the washing machine in our room. The staff is very friendly. A small regret: We would have appreciated if there would have been more effort to communicate pro-actively, for example by using a translation app. Some advice to the different hiking paths and/or a map would have been helpful. But some Information can also be found on the internet."

"The location is good. From balconi can see the rice terrace and walk for 20min up to 九龙五虎观景点 Nine Dragon Five Tigers Scenic Viewpoint. The room is nice but ha no tea/caffe We asked for the show time at the Huangluo village but hotel did not give us any info. Saying that they don’t have any idea about the show. We asked for a ride to Huangluo Yao Village that is 10minutes ride and the guy in the reception charged us 70¥. After all, we need to know how to reach Guilin from the village but still the guy replied saying that we have to take a didi taxi. Hopefully, the people in the village are so friendly and helped me and my daughter to get the bus to Guilin for 80¥ only."

"Traveling with my family, young and old, during the May Day holiday, the room view was absolutely incredible! We could just lie on the sofa by the window and enjoy the stunning terraced fields – so comfortable and relaxing. The B&B is right next to the 'Thousand-Layer Terraces,' about a 15-20 minute walk away. Alternatively, the owner can drop you off at the cable car station to take the cable car up to 'Jinfoding' (Golden Buddha Peak), which the room directly faces. It made for a truly amazing experience. Dining at the B&B was also super convenient. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were authentic. A glass of their homemade rice wine really awakens your taste buds and lifts your spirits! 😁"

"Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the house itself; it truly felt like a 'breathing building,' with a gentle breeze constantly circulating. It was incredibly quiet, and I instantly felt myself relax. The room faced due east, making sunrise views absolutely spectacular. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and showering with mountain spring water in the smart bathroom was a treat. The cleanliness was divine – I didn't even mind walking barefoot on the floor. The personalized butler service was also very thoughtful, making it feel like staying at an old friend's house for a few days."

"My stay at Tenglongge Panoramic Inn was an unforgettable package of delightful surprises and genuine warmth! First off, the location is simply unbeatable – truly the prime viewing spot for the Longji Terraces. Open your window, and you're immediately greeted by the breathtaking, undulating curves of the rice paddies. When the clouds and mist roll in, it feels like living inside a classical painting. And watching the wisps of smoke rise from the valley at dusk, time genuinely seems to slow to a crawl. The inn itself is also incredibly clean and comfortable; every nook and cranny is meticulously tidied, making it a perfectly reassuring choice for families traveling with children. The proprietress was even more heartwarming, treating us like close family. She welcomed us with hot tea the moment we arrived, enthusiastically sharing tips on the best spots for sunset views and recommending the most delicious bamboo rice. She even helped us carry our luggage all the way to our room. But what I'll truly remember for a lifetime was the 'drone scare' that evening! It was already dark, and I was trying to capture night photos of the terraced fields when I accidentally flew my drone a bit too high. With the low visibility, it crashed into the trees, and I instantly panicked. As I was squatting on the ground, frantically trying to figure out what to do, the innkeeper appeared with a flashlight and simply said, 'Come on, I'll help you find it!' It was pitch black in the mountains that night, impossible to see your hand in front of your face, and the path was incredibly steep. As we walked, a small venomous snake suddenly darted out, scaring me so much I almost screamed. But with lightning-fast reflexes, the innkeeper grabbed a branch and deftly pushed the snake away. We continued our search for nearly half an hour, stumbling through the uneven terrain, until we finally located the drone, tangled in grass and leaves within the bushes. I was overwhelmed with gratitude and relief, yet still shaking from the scare. He was drenched in sweat but kept repeating, 'As long as it's found, that's all that matters.' This wasn't just a hotel stay; it truly felt like finding kind-hearted family in the mountains! And as for the scenery? Words aren't enough – I'll just let the photos speak for themselves. After all, even a tiny glimpse through the lens is enough to linger in your memory for a long, long time. Next time I'm in Longji, I'm definitely staying here again!"
