"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The owners (husband and wife team) were genuinely interested to make sure all our needs were taken care of; and that all our questions were answered promptly and correctly. We felt more like part of their family instead of some foreign hotel guests. The wife is a wonderful chef! She can cook and how! We ate almost every meal at this hotel. We were sad to leave. We highly recommend this hotel, it is situated mid way up the mountain, but if you stayed elsewhere high up, most days you will be enveloped completely with heavy fog and you wouldn’t see anything at all. Tell your DiDi driver to take you all the way to the bottom of the hotel and someone will come down to help you with the luggage."

"A great experience! The owner upgraded my room for free. The view was absolutely stunning, and it wasn't far from the Golden Summit viewing platform. Even at 60 years old, it wasn't overwhelming. The downpour was a real treat, and the clear sky after the rain was a truly memorable experience. Dining was also a good option. I'll definitely go again!"

"This guesthouse at Jinkeng Dazhai, Longji Rice Terraces, was absolutely fantastic – a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, with great natural light and ventilation, making for a very comfortable stay. What truly blew me away was the 270-degree panoramic view; the terraced fields stretched out as far as the eye could see. Every photo I took looked like it belonged in a magazine. The scenery, whether by day or at dusk, was so beautiful I didn't want to leave. The owners were incredibly warm and genuine. Not only did they provide transfers to and from the parking lot, but they thoughtfully drove us to a scenic viewpoint on the opposite mountain, saving us a tough climb. The food at the guesthouse was authentically delicious, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The accompanying black tea was fragrant and had a pleasant aftertaste, and their homemade rice wine was excellent – potent but not headache-inducing. Breakfast was also thoughtfully prepared, exquisite and plentiful, offering a balanced and nutritious start to the day. Eating a hearty meal before exploring the terraces just elevated the whole experience. Before we left, I casually complimented their rice wine, and the owner surprisingly gave us an extra portion as a gift. This small, unexpected gesture really warmed my heart. If you're looking for a comfortable stay, breathtaking views, and delicious, worry-free food in Longji, this place is definitely the one to choose."

"For a guesthouse, the decor and facilities are absolutely top-notch, and the location is excellent. You can literally open your window to a beautiful view, making it one of the best spots at Longji Rice Terraces. The room is spacious enough, and the owners are very down-to-earth and genuine. Parking is also quite convenient, though it might be a bit tricky for new drivers."

"Our stay at the hotel was great! The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They also respond very quickly to all your questions and you can easily reach them via WeChat. They helped us to book a direct bus from Guilin to Dazhai and from Dazhai to Yangshuo. The pick up and drop off service from the Dazhai parking lot is quick and efficient, we were really happy that we didn't need to walk up the hill with our heavy luggage. The room is clean, spacious and luxurious. The breakfast is really good. We also ordered food for dinner twice and it was delicious! We also got some very good rice wine and tea with the dinner. We're travelling in China for a month and this was definitely our best stay of the entire trip!"

"The house is self-built and relatively new. Located halfway up a mountain, it's easily accessible by car and close to the Thousand-Layer Scenic Area, just a few minutes' drive away. The owner's wife and mother-in-law were the most attentive, while the men in the family seemed rather lazy and didn't seem to do much. The complimentary breakfast was decent, and the owner's rice wine was also quite good; I'd recommend it!"

"I chose this place mainly because I wanted easy access to the rice terraces, and it honestly worked out really well. Getting there didn’t feel like a hassle at all—it was close enough that I didn’t have to wake up too early or worry about complicated transportation. It made the whole trip feel more relaxed. What I liked most was being able to just plan my visit without stressing about travel time. I could head out when I felt like it and still have plenty of time to enjoy the views. It also made it easier to go back and rest after exploring, which I really appreciated after walking around the terraces. If you’re visiting mainly for the rice terraces, this location just makes things simpler. It’s not about luxury or anything over the top—it’s just practical and convenient, which honestly made a big difference in my overall experience."

"Trip.com Full Version Praise (Shop Name: Slang Between) Highly recommend Longji Terraces Jinkeng Dazhai Lianyujian B&B! The location is excellent, located in the middle of the No. 1 and No. 2 observation decks. Bring your own parking lot, you can drive directly to the downstairs of the hotel by car, and there is also an elevator. It is especially worry-free to carry your luggage up and down the stairs. The homestay is newly renovated, the design is elegant and attentive, and the whole house is cleaned spotlessly. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows of the room can enjoy the beautiful view of the thousands of floors of the terraces while lying on the bed. The view is super wide, and you can quietly enjoy the sunrise of the terraces in the morning. The outdoor terrace is facing the whole terrace, and taking pictures, blowing hair, and daze are particularly healing. The boss is super enthusiastic and real. The home-cooked dishes taste great. The yellow stewed chicken and Putian fish are super delicious. They also give a large pot of homemade rice wine, which tastes mellow. Before leaving, I also sent a warm heart gift. The food and accommodation experience was full. Come to Longji Terraces to stay and choose this one with closed eyes!"

"Stay here. If you have travelled in China at this price point, you will know that hotels can be sorted largely into two categories: “I can’t believe that this awful place is this expensive,” and “I can’t believe that this nice of a hotel is this cheap.” This hotel fits squarely in the latter: it is exceedingly clean; the staff are very friendly; the food is good (you can have lunch or dinner here in addition to the complementary breakfast); and it is well located relative to the central village and various lookout points (it also has a nice view itself, either from its balconies, or eastwards along a small stone path through the terraces). If you are looking for a great place to stay while relaxing in Longji, look no further!"

"Mama and I had such a great experience here on our 3-day (2-night) trip to the 龙脊 rice terraces. Cannot recommend these guys enough! They were so friendly from the start and service was AMAZING.  We got quite lucky with our room. We were able to catch the sunrise every morning coming over the “back of the dragon”. Location was great too, being not too far from the 九龙五虎 and 七星半月 observation decks. Aside from the view, the place was clean with the usual amenities. Their home-cooked Guilin specialty meals also made for great dinner. Almost everything was home grown and locally sourced, and oh so tasty!  They were also great with our check-out and send-off, helping us organise a car/driver to our next stop (Yangshou) and a little farewell token that read “ 一生平安” which translates to “a lifetime of peace and safety”. We even picked up some of their monk fruit (羅漢果) and passion fruit (百香果) before we left! Thank you for making us feel so welcome 西窗月! Highly recommend booking with them! ☺️👌🏼"
