Longsheng Hotels with Infinity Pools

"The room was spotless, and the balcony glass was sparkling clean. I especially appreciated the two-layer balcony door, which included a screen door. Even the disposable shower cap had a hair tie inside – such thoughtful details that made me feel so comfortable and pleasantly surprised. My long-awaited 'true-to-life' fishing experience didn't happen because I got my period on the morning we arrived at Longji. The owner said I'd need to go barefoot for fishing, and since it wasn't a warm day at all, I just didn't have the courage to get into the water barefoot. I almost cried! We had dinner, and the next day's breakfast and lunch at the guesthouse. I strongly recommend that anyone staying here avoids eating at the Jinkeng Dazhai car park – the food here at the guesthouse is absolutely delicious!!! We also had an extra person join us unexpectedly, and the owner didn't charge extra for their breakfast. The owners (I assume it's a couple) and the staff were all incredibly kind and helpful, even offering directions proactively. All in all, it was absolutely wonderful!"

"Seriously, what a find! This guesthouse is located at the highest point in Jinkeng Dazhai that's accessible by car, which saved us a lot of uphill walking. From here, it's just a 10-minute walk to Observation Deck No. 2 and 20 minutes to Observation Deck No. 1. The rooms are equipped with all sorts of high-tech facilities, spacious and comfortable, with a faint scent of tung oil. The large balcony offers direct views of the stunning rice terraces, perfect for time-lapse photography, or simply lounging around, daydreaming and sipping tea – a truly relaxing experience. We stayed here for two comfortable nights. The guesthouse even has an elevator, making it super convenient to get to the fourth floor. The owner's cooking is absolutely amazing, and even breakfast was very generous. They served complimentary homemade rice wine with every meal, and even gave us a souvenir when we left. The owner is incredibly thoughtful!"

"Our stay at Yundu Panjing Mountain House was absolutely incredible 🤍 The place is stunning, with breathtaking views over the rice terraces, truly a magical setting where you feel peaceful from the moment you arrive. The hospitality was exceptional. The team took such great care of us throughout our stay. They even helped us buy local rice directly from villagers and surprised us with lovely farewell gifts. Their kindness and attention to detail really made the experience special 🥹 The room was very comfortable, clean, and perfectly matched the atmosphere of the village. Waking up here surrounded by nature and incredible mountain views is unforgettable. And of course, a special shoutout to Bobo, the hotel’s mascot 🐶 the sweetest and friendliest dog, who made our stay even warmer and more enjoyable! "I came here with the expectation of revisiting the old place, and now I left with satisfaction. The weather was good, and we had both sunrise and mirror. Located at the highest observation deck, it is estimated that only the No. 1 observation deck can best appreciate the beauty of the mirror, because only here has sufficient water in the past few days, and there is no water release on the No. 2 side. The panoramic building is worthy of the panoramic view. The facilities are not bad, the bedding is very comfortable, the food is also good, and the luggage is sent up and down the mountain by a special person. Although the altitude is about 1,200 meters, it is easy to get up, and the boss is easy to get along with. Finally, a small suggestion, the shampoo is relatively dry, it is recommended to add conditioner as an option."

"The owner, his wife and all staff members made us feel very welcome, happily answering all our questions. Our stay was perfect! The hotel had an amazing view of the rice fields from every level, and our room had comfortable beds, a projector for movies, tea-making facilities, and a modern bathroom with a Japanese toilet. The restful decoration added to the peaceful atmosphere. Each meal was delicious, freshly cooked, and served quickly.One of the best parts was that the hotel provided traditional outfits for us to wear for photos, which was a lot of fun. The owner also took us to a beautiful viewpoint of the rice terraces and even guided us into the rice fields to catch fish! It was such a fun experience! After a hot day, the infinity pool was the perfect place to cool down. We will remember our stay at this hotel for a long time. "Full five points. For B&Bs in Longji, you have to contact the owner in advance, otherwise you won’t be able to find them yourself. From Guilin to Longji Dazhai parking lot, the boss helped find a local driver to take him in for 30 yuan per person. Park the car at the B&B intersection and walk a short 3-minute winding road to get there (achieving a unique view). There is no supporting parking lot (no noise) The B&B is on an independent hilltop with a good view and a large swimming pool with flowing mountain spring water. There is a small courtyard where you can look directly at the terraced fields. The elderly family is very kind and the boss cooks delicious food. When I catch a cold at night, the boss gives me medicine and is as caring and caring as my child’s grandmother. The room is very clean. I live in a stilted building and a starry sky room. When I sleep, I can see the stars and the moon in the sky at night. In the morning, beautiful mountain birds land on top of the starry sky, and you can also watch the sunrise jumping out of the mountains. It’s not far from scenic spots No. 2 and 3. Except for the Big Buddha Summit, which is a tourist spot for tour groups, it’s far away (and there’s no need to go there). On the way to the scenic spots, you can see more B&Bs with large floor-to-ceiling windows, bar music, barbecue, etc. Internet celebrity B&B. Compared with internet celebrity B&Bs, I feel like I can’t make a movie to show off my journey. But I just think that a leisure trip to Longji should be like Yunshe Inn, not far but not close, with unique scenery, enthusiastic boss, quiet surroundings, and suitable for cultivating the mind and character. Small suggestion: add a wall to the swimming pool and change it into an infinity pool, which should be more attractive."

"A Healing Abode Hidden in the Mountains This guesthouse was a truly delightful surprise! The rooms were fully equipped, so you didn't have to worry about anything. Hot water was readily available at night. The extra-large bathtub was perfect for washing away travel fatigue – so relaxing! ❤ Boasting a stunning 270° panoramic view, you can admire the magnificent terraced fields from your bed. Everywhere you look is a soothing sight, perfect for taking photos or simply relaxing. The guesthouse also thoughtfully provides lunch and dinner; just contact them in advance to enjoy them. The prices are incredibly reasonable and affordable. Even more surprising was the guesthouse's homemade rice wine – rich, sweet, and flavorful, unforgettable after just one sip. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming. During our chat, we learned that while many guesthouses were still closed during the off-season of Chinese New Year, this place remained warm and welcoming. Once the terraced fields turn a vibrant green and golden yellow in June, it will be at its peak season, definitely on my list for a second visit. The only minor drawback is that the road up the mountain is a bit long, with many bends and narrow roads, requiring extra caution when driving. However, the beautiful scenery and heartwarming experience make it absolutely worth the trip, and I look forward to visiting these terraced fields again during peak season!"
