Cheap Hotels in Shaoxing

"This is a wonderful small boutique hotel, beautiful and thoughtfully designed in every corner. I loved the summer special drinks in the lobby and the convenient 'carefree corner,' which had everything you could need. The flavored afternoon tea, featuring huangjiu (yellow wine), was a delightful and immersive experience. The hotel's location is fantastic; Cangqiao Old Street is lively and convenient, while Fushan Park and the morning market offer a glimpse into local life. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast and late-night snacks were delicious. Plus, it's super easy to get around from here. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shaoxing."

"The reception staff were super friendly! I arrived a little early, so the room had not been cleaned yet, and when the hotel staff found out they were very apologetic about it and rushed to immediately clean the room, even though it was not their fault. Overall a clean, comfortable, and affordable room. The hotel is closer to the city centre and so may be a bit of a distance from the nearest metro station (and the Gao Tie 高铁) but it offers easy assess to the area around Lǔ Xùn's ancestral home)."

"The cleaning was meticulous, even the corners were spotless. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the elevator wait times were short. There are plenty of dining options nearby, making it perfect for a short stay."

"As an established hotel, the facilities are a bit dated, but the hotel's environment is truly exceptional. It's quaint and picturesque, with beautiful scenery everywhere. The location is excellent; right outside, you'll find Fushan Park, offering panoramic views of Shaoxing. It's also not far from Shusheng Guli (Calligrapher's Hometown), Bazi Bridge Street, Lu Xun's Former Residence, and Cangqiao Straight Street, making for a very leisurely stroll. The only minor drawback is that food deliveries can only be picked up in the lobby, but I guess it counts as a bit of exercise."

"I have to give a special shout-out to 'Snooze,' our hotel butler! Their service was incredibly attentive throughout our stay. Any requests we had were handled promptly, and they were always patient and helpful in resolving any issues. Their dedication to service was truly commendable. The room was spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained, making for a very comfortable stay. What I really appreciated was that the butler service wasn't just formal politeness; it was genuinely about helping guests with their problems, which is a rare and wonderful experience. The hotel's convenient location and overall value for money make it highly recommendable."

"A little interlude on our Hangzhou to Sanya trip. Even though our flight was delayed, those extra two hours gave us the perfect opportunity to finally enjoy our long-awaited Chinese restaurant meal. We hadn't had it in almost a month, and we really missed it! I particularly loved the Drunken Chilled Crayfish from the summer menu this time around. My wife absolutely adored the Sea Urchin Potstickers! I highly recommend all food critics come and try them out! Another perfect stay! The room was clean and tidy, and the housekeeping team's thoughtfulness was a pleasant surprise. My child and wife both loved seeing the elephant made out of towels 🐘. Coffee Bar Break We tried everything: coffee coconut candy, osmanthus latte, and pistachio milk! Even though it was just a brief stop, the 20 happy hours we spent here were enough to cure all our woes!!! Our butler, Zero, was incredibly attentive and helpful, providing us with so much assistance. All the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, greeting us with smiles that made us feel right at home!"

What impressed me most were the hotel’s exclusive complimentary perks, which made the whole stay comfortable, convenient, and full of warmth. First of all, I was pleasantly surprised by the free room upgrade offered by the hotel. The seasonal fruits were fresh, carefully selected, and neatly presented, bringing a sweet and thoughtful touch after a long day of travel or work. This small but heartwarming gesture greatly enhanced the overall accommodation experience and made guests feel valued and cared for. Another highlight is the free laundry service, which is extremely practical for long-term stays and business travelers. "The hotel is conveniently located near City Plaza Station on Shaoxing Metro Line 1, and just a minute's walk from the Supply and Marketing Building bus stop. We received a free room upgrade to a room with two very comfortable 1.5-meter beds. The hotel also has a gym and laundry room on the first floor, which was super convenient. The breakfast buffet was also very satisfying. While Joy City is nearby, it was quite deserted. However, you can take a few bus stops to Intime Department Store, which was bustling. Overall, I made an excellent choice with this hotel. This was my second visit to Shaoxing, and it was super easy to get to Fushan Park, Cangqiao Old Street, Lu Xun's Former Residence, and the Former Residence of Wang Xizhi."
