"Everything at the hotel was great. We stayed there for 6 nights. Room and bathroom was clean. Staff at reception was friendly and helpful. Hotel location is great. Easy to access to metro and Arbat area is buzzling and nice to walk around especially during the evenings/night. My only issue was trying to get our taxi to locate the hotel. When we book the taxi a different address appears on the booking app and it will bring you at the back of the hotel and you will need to find the hotel yourself. Our stay was during Feb and it was snowing and cold, so that was not a great experience trying to locate the hotel with 2 big luggage. Other then this I would recommend this hotel."

"The Metropol is truly one of a kind; no other hotel can offer the same experience! Any traveler with a generous budget should definitely spend at least one night here. It's not just for the amazing bar, the breakfast renowned throughout Russia, or its rich historical heritage and fantastic location... I especially recommend rooms of Superior level or higher. Not only do they include free entry to the Tretyakov Gallery, but your room key also grants you complimentary access to the adjacent State Historical Museum. Facilities: The historical rooms are old, but perfectly functional. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: I checked in at 6 AM, explored Red Square in the morning, and was still able to catch a nap in the afternoon. Service: Attentive, and they even offer turn-down service with chocolates."

There's a supermarket and a Vietnamese restaurant downstairs, which covered all my basic shopping and dining needs. The surroundings were quiet, and the housekeeping staff cleaned the room promptly. It's a great value-for-money four-star hotel."

It's conveniently located right across from a shopping mall and supermarket, making it easy to cook your own meals. It's also very close to two metro stations, which is great for getting around. Downstairs, there's a botanical garden, perfect for a leisurely stroll and enjoying the nice environment. However, some of the front desk staff don't speak English, so communication can be a bit challenging. You might need to use a translation app to show them messages in Russian. I noticed a lot of Chinese guests staying here."

"My wife and I stayed at this hotel for the first time; we specifically needed this location. A big plus is the excellent Mitinsky Park: great for walks, runs, and feeding swans and ducks. Overall, everything was fine, but it's clear that some rooms need a refresh: a fresh coat of paint, replacing a few things, cleaning the windows a bit more often, and taking better care of the laminate flooring. These are more recommendations, and I wish them continued improvement to ensure guests always return."

"Stayed here for a couple of days in July with a friend. It's a pleasant, compact hotel, without a huge, pompous lobby; very minimalist. The rooms are also compact, about 25 square meters – not cramped, but there's not much space to spread out your luggage either. The location is convenient, just a 5-minute taxi ride to the city center. The staff are friendly, and breakfast is delicious with all the essentials. They even have a ”chocolate hour” for those who enjoy it. The à la carte menu at the ground floor restaurant is tasty. There's a small but cozy spa with a hammam and Balinese massage. Overall, it's more than good value for the money."

The curtains, however, do a very poor job of blocking out light, which means the room is quite bright when trying to sleep during the White Nights season."

"Nice stay. The room was clean with full amenities. We didnt take a breakfast. But the halal restaurant is just at the lobby. We had twice diner there at Lebanese Restaurant. Nice ambiancw with amazing food. 10mins to Kremlin. And its just 10mins walks to a main street. At the junction when you turn left about 100m also have halal doner opens 24hrs but only for takeaway. My room is facing courtyard. New experience for me."
