"This was my first trip to Washington, DC, and I booked this hotel in advance because the location looked great and I was able to get a really good discounted price. Although the room was listed as having a queen bed, it honestly felt more like a double or full-size bed. I was also disappointed that the room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. However, the biggest issue was how dusty the room was. I think it was the first time in my life that I sneezed more than 50 times in a single day. It bothered me throughout the entire trip, and constantly dealing with a runny nose made me even more tired. I eventually had to go to CVS and buy allergy medicine. I chose this hotel mainly because of the price, but if I visit DC again, I would probably pay a little more and stay somewhere else. Most places are still easily connected by metro through Google Maps anyway, so getting around the city and visiting tourist attractions isn’t difficult at all. That said, the front desk staff were friendly, and the location was convenient, so I would still recommend it for solo travelers. However, if you’re traveling with two or more people, I would suggest booking a better room than the one I stayed in, even if it costs more."

"Great hostel! Very clean! The restrooms and showers are in good condition and always accessible. The common areas—the lobby, the kitchen, and an outdoor terrace—are cozy. My roommates were polite and quiet. I met some nice people, many interesting people from all over the world. It's close to the main attractions. It was a convenient metro ride from Dulles Airport. The train station is also relatively close. Breakfast was included in the price. It was delicious—fresh pancakes with blueberries or chocolate, coffee, and tea. The beds were okay, quite comfortable. Thank you."

The location is also excellent, a short 2 minute walk to L’Enfant Metro station or about 7 minutes to walk to the Mall. Really a wonderful stay."

"a 7 walk from nearest metro, a bit far especially with luggage. there is bus stop just outside the door but not frequent. the room was huge. there is coffee machine in the room which is great. some more a kettle which is rare! but the building is a bit complicated as they gave me one in the north tower which requires walking cross a basement carpark from the front desk to reach my lift lobby."

"The service is ok. Got the corner room, but it's not soundproof at all. Someone was either talking on the street or in the room next to me at 4 AM; I couldn't fall asleep, and I was so tired for my conference in the morning. The location is good, walking distance to union station."

This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

"First off, I need to say that I stayed for quite a while, and I really regret it. I should have booked for just one day and then extended my stay as needed. This hotel has a strict no early checkout policy; if you leave early, they still charge you for the full booked duration. Why do I regret it? Here are a few points I wasn't happy with: (1) The room was too small. I booked a 'Super King Room,' which implies it's suitable for two people, but upon checking in, I realized it simply had a super king-sized bed, not a large room. On the contrary, the room was tiny; it would be okay for one person at best. The width of the room was equivalent to the length of a single mattress, and its length was about 3.2 to 3.3 times the width of a mattress (around 1.8m each, I'd guess). (2) The hotel only offers this one room type, so there's no option to upgrade. (3) The air quality in the room was poor. Because the room was small and had no windows, it relied entirely on the air conditioning for ventilation. After leaving in the morning and returning at night, there was still that old-fashioned train smell. This is why we left early in the morning and came back late at night – we simply didn't want to spend time in the room. Just to clarify, pictures 2 and 3 show the actual situation with the bathroom door open. So, if you're someone who's out all day and only comes back to sleep, if you're traveling solo, and if it's for a short stay of just a day or two, then this hotel might be acceptable."

"The location is decent, not far from the Chinese Embassy. There's a subway station less than 300 meters from the hotel. There's also a large supermarket nearby where you can buy fresh produce and food. The room size is moderate, but the bathroom is very small and old. The toiletries provided are not of good quality. It was difficult to get a taxi near the hotel, so I ended up taking the subway to the airport."
