"We arrived early and were greeted at the door, got checked in promptly, and doorman carried out bags to room. The view was beautiful, room comfortable, bathroom/ shower relaxing. We dined several meals both breakfast, dinner, and even mid-afternoon. Service prompt and food delicious. Staff very welcoming. Front desk helped us with sightseeing, restaurant suggestions, and very informative. A great location with all amenities!"

"This hotel was surprisingly good! I'd read reviews saying it was a bit dated, and while it definitely isn't brand new, the decor felt a bit more upscale than other Westins I've stayed at. They have their own paid parking, which I think was around $60 a night, but we didn't use it. Instead, we found street parking right outside using an app, and it cost us less than $10 for the whole night – super cheap! It felt very safe and clean, and it's only about a 15-minute walk to the White House, which is incredibly convenient. Definitely worth staying here again!"

"The room was compact and small, but the cleanliness was good. There was plenty of convenient public space. The design style was modern, and the location was decent, about a 20-minute walk from Union Station and 35 minutes from attractions like the Parliament Buildings. A major drawback was the absence of cups for water, drinking water, and tooth-brushing. The room was also quite cold, with the heating only going up to 24 degrees Celsius, and the duvet was too thin. I asked the front desk for a heater, but it was still cold, so I ended up sleeping in a thick tracksuit all three nights. Additionally, the shower stall had no handrails, making it unfriendly for older guests. All controls being on an iPad was also inconvenient."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the Noma district. There's a Harris Teeter supermarket just around the corner downstairs, and a Trader Joe's a few hundred meters north. The closest metro entrance is 100 meters away, and another is about 200 meters, with a 7-Eleven next to it. Noma, in general, is very new; the streets are clean, and it looks much newer than many other areas in DC. It feels quite safe at night, with many apartment buildings around, housing a lot of working professionals. There are also plenty of dining options, including fast food. The room was relatively quiet, with typical Hilton amenities, though some facilities showed a bit of wear and tear, which wasn't a major issue. The staff, mostly Black or South Asian, were polite, enthusiastic, and easy to communicate with."

"A nice hotel at good price near Union Station Washington DC.  The hotel is in a good location, quiet, clean and safe area. Commuting to the train station is quite convenient and worry-free about the delay that might make we miss the schedule.  The room is clean and spacious much better than the hotels in NYC.  Water pressure is more than enough and we get hot water quite responsive.  Essential breakfast is included with 24-hour self-service hot drinks.  If we visit this area again we will definitely select this one."

"The room was quite spacious, with enough room to open three 26-inch suitcases flat. The location is fantastic – just over 2km from the Capitol Building, a bit over 1km from the art museum, and only 600m from the White House. The breakfast was typical Western fare, perfectly acceptable. The only downside was that the parking fee was ridiculously expensive; it really stung to pay for it!"

"a 7 walk from nearest metro, a bit far especially with luggage. there is bus stop just outside the door but not frequent. the room was huge. there is coffee machine in the room which is great. some more a kettle which is rare! but the building is a bit complicated as they gave me one in the north tower which requires walking cross a basement carpark from the front desk to reach my lift lobby."

"The neighborhood is safe, and it's not dangerous even if you go out late at night. It's within a 10-minute walk from the station, and there are no security issues there either. The facilities and cleanliness, such as the bathroom, are not the best, but it won't bother you for a few days. There is some creaking of the bed and stairs, and noise from outside, so people who are sensitive to noise may find it bothersome. However, I think it's quite satisfactory compared to the price."

"I arrived early to check in, and the front desk informed me that early check-in would incur a fee; complimentary check-in starts after 2 PM. Luggage storage costs $1 per suitcase. Many people mentioned the $25 daily credit, which can be used at Starbucks for breakfast. If you charge it to your room, the deduction will appear as a separate line item. Alternatively, you can pay on the spot, only paying Starbucks for the amount exceeding $25, and the hotel bill will still show the $25 credit, so there's no issue with double charging. The area around the hotel is under construction, and it's a bit of a walk to the subway station, but still manageable. Most of the time, you'll need to transfer subway lines to reach attractions, which is still quite convenient, and the price is relatively affordable."

"My wife, our 5-year-old son, and I recently spent 3 lovely nights at Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Embassy Row during our family trip to the nation’s capital, and it turned out to be the ideal choice for our little family of three. Located in the charming Embassy Row neighborhood, the hotel’s location is truly unbeatable—just a 10-minute walk to Farragut North Metro Station, allowing us to easily reach iconic spots like the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, and the White House, which were perfect for our curious 5-year-old. We booked a deluxe room with two queen beds, which was spacious and comfortable for the three of us. The room was impeccably clean, with bright, modern decor and soft lighting that made it feel warm and welcoming after long days of sightseeing. The plush beds ensured we all slept well, and the blackout curtains were a lifesaver for our son, who tends to wake up early with sunlight. There were plenty of USB charging ports and free Wi-Fi, which kept our son entertained with his tablet during downtime, and the room had enough space for him to play a little without feeling cramped. What impressed us most was how family-friendly the hotel was, especially for a young child. The staff was incredibly warm and patient; they greeted our son by name after the first day and even gave him a small toy as a welcome gift, which made him feel so special. There were also convenient coffee stations in the lobby, perfect for a quick pick-me-up before we headed out to explore the city with our little one. The complimentary Canopy bikes were a fun activity for our family—our son loved riding in the child seat while my wife and I cycled around the quiet, tree-lined streets of Embassy Row. The concierge was also very helpful, recommending family-friendly restaurants nearby and helping us plan our itinerary to avoid crowds at the museums, which made our trip much smoother. Overall, our stay was wonderful. The hotel’s prime location, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful, family-focused service made our DC trip unforgettable. We highly recommend Canopy by Hilton Embassy Row to any family traveling with a young child—we couldn’t have asked for a better home base. We will definitely return on our next family trip to Washington DC."
