"Coming off an underwhelming hotel in NYC, my girlfriend and I plus our friend were both pleasantly surprised with this place. The service was really the stand out, all of the staff were exceptionally friendly, happy and helpful. The room is small but extremely clean and modern. The location is also excellent, a short 2 minute walk to L’Enfant Metro station or about 7 minutes to walk to the Mall. Really a wonderful stay."

This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

"First off, I need to say that I stayed for quite a while, and I really regret it. I should have booked for just one day and then extended my stay as needed. This hotel has a strict no early checkout policy; if you leave early, they still charge you for the full booked duration. Why do I regret it? Here are a few points I wasn't happy with: (1) The room was too small. I booked a 'Super King Room,' which implies it's suitable for two people, but upon checking in, I realized it simply had a super king-sized bed, not a large room. On the contrary, the room was tiny; it would be okay for one person at best. The width of the room was equivalent to the length of a single mattress, and its length was about 3.2 to 3.3 times the width of a mattress (around 1.8m each, I'd guess). (2) The hotel only offers this one room type, so there's no option to upgrade. (3) The air quality in the room was poor. Because the room was small and had no windows, it relied entirely on the air conditioning for ventilation. After leaving in the morning and returning at night, there was still that old-fashioned train smell. This is why we left early in the morning and came back late at night – we simply didn't want to spend time in the room. Just to clarify, pictures 2 and 3 show the actual situation with the bathroom door open. So, if you're someone who's out all day and only comes back to sleep, if you're traveling solo, and if it's for a short stay of just a day or two, then this hotel might be acceptable."

"The hotel's location is in a simple area, but it's well-equipped with basic facilities. The lobby on the ground floor has a small shop selling snacks, coffee, and milk, plus a microwave. However, the hotel's service needs improvement. I've stayed here twice. The first time, there was only one bottle of water in the room, and the front desk said they only provide one. The second time, there were two bottles. The service management definitely needs to be enhanced."
