"Overall, my experience at this hotel in Washington, D.C., was quite good. I had actually stayed here before, and I specifically chose to stay here again, even intending to book the same room as before. A major reason I chose this hotel was its relatively quiet environment. If you, like me, prioritize quality rest, especially if you need to adjust to the time difference, I would recommend prioritizing the ”Gallery Room” (room facing the pool). These rooms are unaffected by street noise; although you won't see the street view, the overall quietness is much better for rest. The only slight disappointment this time was that because I arrived quite late (it was already past midnight), my original room type wasn't reserved, and the hotel ”upgraded” me to a king-size bed room with a street view. Objectively speaking, this room was indeed larger and more spacious, but the downside was also obvious—the street noise was quite noticeable. If you need to catch up on sleep during the day or adjust to the time difference, this room type isn't the ideal choice. Therefore, if you prioritize quiet, I suggest confirming the room type with the hotel in advance, or trying to avoid checking in too late. Aside from that, overall, this hotel offers good value for money and convenience in a city like Washington, D.C. The facilities were relatively new, the air conditioning was very quiet, the service was excellent, and there were even coffee capsules in the room. Overall, it was a comfortable experience. If I come to Washington again, I would probably choose this place again."

"This hotel is super cool and unique, with a strong nightclub vibe as soon as you walk in. It blends co-working, a bar, and a regular hotel seamlessly. The lobby is a great spot to work, play board games, watch sports while having a drink, or admire the art. Every corner screams personality. The room itself is really small; two people would find it a bit cramped. It's probably designed more for solo travelers. The hotel is conveniently located, about a ten-minute walk from Union Station. The only minor downside is the lack of a self-service laundry facility, and I couldn't find one nearby either."

"This was my first trip to Washington, DC, and I booked this hotel in advance because the location looked great and I was able to get a really good discounted price. Although the room was listed as having a queen bed, it honestly felt more like a double or full-size bed. I was also disappointed that the room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. However, the biggest issue was how dusty the room was. I think it was the first time in my life that I sneezed more than 50 times in a single day. It bothered me throughout the entire trip, and constantly dealing with a runny nose made me even more tired. I eventually had to go to CVS and buy allergy medicine. I chose this hotel mainly because of the price, but if I visit DC again, I would probably pay a little more and stay somewhere else. Most places are still easily connected by metro through Google Maps anyway, so getting around the city and visiting tourist attractions isn’t difficult at all. That said, the front desk staff were friendly, and the location was convenient, so I would still recommend it for solo travelers. However, if you’re traveling with two or more people, I would suggest booking a better room than the one I stayed in, even if it costs more."

"The hotel is quite new and features smart controls throughout, operated by an iPad, which is perfect for solo travelers. It's less than a ten-minute walk to both the Aerospace Museum and the National Gallery, and the subway station isn't far either. On my last day, I used their luggage storage service, which was really convenient. The only thing I found a bit unusual was that they don't provide bottled water; you have to go down to the bar on the first floor to get water yourself."

This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. This Washington D.C. hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around.

"This is a great hotel! The location, service, ambiance, and cleanliness were all excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was above average. It's not too far to walk to major attractions like the White House, Capitol, Library of Congress, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, National Air and Space Museum, National Gallery of Art, and the Botanic Garden – definitely doable if you're good on your feet. Plus, it's only three blocks from Chinatown, which is super convenient for grabbing a bite. It seems we might have hit a FCCLA event or something similar, as there were tons of students and teachers (or maybe staff) everywhere – in the breakfast area, lobby, and elevators. We even ran into a lot of them walking around and eating nearby, making things a bit too lively. Since the 250th anniversary celebration just ended, there were still barriers and dividers everywhere, leading to a few detours. I imagine it would be much quieter on a normal visit."

"The location is decent, not far from the Chinese Embassy. There's a subway station less than 300 meters from the hotel. There's also a large supermarket nearby where you can buy fresh produce and food. The room size is moderate, but the bathroom is very small and old. The toiletries provided are not of good quality. It was difficult to get a taxi near the hotel, so I ended up taking the subway to the airport."

Mixed feelings. The hotel is well located, with Washington Union Station nearby. The rooms are average; they’re clean, but a bit outdated and musty. The reception staff looked tired and unbothered. The hotel seems to operate only under daily timings; I was not able to get cleaning later on the day. The safe was not working and I had to wait until the next day for someone to come check it, same case for broken light in the bathroom. The fitness is well equipped. The hotel was not able to accommodate my request to cancel the last night, even though I was moving to another Hilton. Not necessarily the kind of service you’d expect from them. Amenities were available upon request, there’s a mini fridge in the room. There was no kettle available. Overall, for the price, you can get better in Washington DC.

It is amazing services and experiences with their staffs. Very friendly, very helpful, very kindness especially one of their hotel bar restaurant and her name is “Patz”. She wonderfully kindness and helpful when I struggled with my handbag letting Inside the train when we can off at foggy bottom station. She letting me to use her phone to contact the lost and found metro office and even talk through with me. Very convenient location between at M street and 22nd St NW. 15 min to White House, then few minute to all the Mall surrounded. Then train from foggy bottom to Union station or capitol for capitol, library congress, Supreme Court and all the popular museums/art gallery along the site. The hotel is the best hotel experiences we have had for our entire first trip IN USA. Just a very weird experience that both my sons got bitten by buds or fleas for the stay but it doesn’t happened to me even we in the same room and bed? All well, hopefully they no other customer had this issues. But I still feel lucky and big thank you to the teams, management and all the other onsite staff. Loved it and will definitely back to you for our next trip to DC….xx

My wife, our 5-year-old son, and I recently spent 3 lovely nights at Canopy by Hilton Washington DC Embassy Row during our family trip to the nation’s capital, and it turned out to be the ideal choice for our little family of three. Located in the charming Embassy Row neighborhood, the hotel’s location is truly unbeatable—just a 10-minute walk to Farragut North Metro Station, allowing us to easily reach iconic spots like the National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, and the White House, which were perfect for our curious 5-year-old. We booked a deluxe room with two queen beds, which was spacious and comfortable for the three of us. The room was impeccably clean, with bright, modern decor and soft lighting that made it feel warm and welcoming after long days of sightseeing. The plush beds ensured we all slept well, and the blackout curtains were a lifesaver for our son, who tends to wake up early with sunlight. There were plenty of USB charging ports and free Wi-Fi, which kept our son entertained with his tablet during downtime, and the room had enough space for him to play a little without feeling cramped. What impressed us most was how family-friendly the hotel was, especially for a young child. The staff was incredibly warm and patient; they greeted our son by name after the first day and even gave him a small toy as a welcome gift, which made him feel so special. There were also convenient coffee stations in the lobby, perfect for a quick pick-me-up before we headed out to explore the city with our little one. The complimentary Canopy bikes were a fun activity for our family—our son loved riding in the child seat while my wife and I cycled around the quiet, tree-lined streets of Embassy Row. The concierge was also very helpful, recommending family-friendly restaurants nearby and helping us plan our itinerary to avoid crowds at the museums, which made our trip much smoother. Overall, our stay was wonderful. The hotel’s prime location, comfortable accommodations, and thoughtful, family-focused service made our DC trip unforgettable. We highly recommend Canopy by Hilton Embassy Row to any family traveling with a young child—we couldn’t have asked for a better home base. We will definitely return on our next family trip to Washington DC.

This hotel has a fantastic location, directly accessible from Union Station and Dulles International Airport. There's a metro and bus stop downstairs, and major attractions and museums like the National Mall are within walking distance. Restaurants and supermarkets are also nearby. The hotel facilities are a bit old, and the soundproofing isn't great, but the cleanliness is good, and cleaning is prompt. Overall, it's a good hotel.

The service is ok. Got the corner room, but it's not soundproof at all. Someone was either talking on the street or in the room next to me at 4 AM; I couldn't fall asleep, and I was so tired for my conference in the morning. The location is good, walking distance to union station.

I did not have the pleasure of using the facilities however, I must commend the staff for always being helpful and friendly throughout my stay. I would recommend that the staff be advised on a contingency plan or when there are power cuts in the area to mitigate any discomfort and inconvenience experienced by guests. Unfortunately during my stay at the hotel, the power went out from 4am till the time I checked out at 2pm. It would have been a nice gesture to offer bottled water, discounted rates, coupons or some type of assistance to the guests who were at the hotel to ameliorate the unpleasant situation of being without power for such a long time. Other than that, I think the hotel is in a good location and is easily accessible depending on your needs in DC.

The TV had no signal, and after trying various methods, I gave up. The room door needed to be closed gently to avoid making a loud noise. The toilet flushing was mediocre, and the amenities seemed cheaply made. Most importantly, the room was filled with a pungent, overpowering smell of newly renovated furniture; it was very irritating and made my throat very sore. I suggest the hotel remove the smell (I'm not sure if it's formaldehyde). This is the first time I've experienced such a throat irritation in a new hotel.

The location is excellent! Make sure to book a room with a monument view; it's directly facing Freedom Square, offering an expansive view of the monument. The front desk staff are all very friendly. The hotel is modest, not overly luxurious – Marriott seems to be positioned a bit lower here than it is in my home country.
