Hotel near Foggy Bottom,Washington D.C.

If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. For guests traveling as a couple, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"This was my first trip to Washington, DC, and I booked this hotel in advance because the location looked great and I was able to get a really good discounted price. Although the room was listed as having a queen bed, it honestly felt more like a double or full-size bed. I was also disappointed that the room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator. However, the biggest issue was how dusty the room was. I think it was the first time in my life that I sneezed more than 50 times in a single day. It bothered me throughout the entire trip, and constantly dealing with a runny nose made me even more tired. I eventually had to go to CVS and buy allergy medicine. I chose this hotel mainly because of the price, but if I visit DC again, I would probably pay a little more and stay somewhere else. Most places are still easily connected by metro through Google Maps anyway, so getting around the city and visiting tourist attractions isn’t difficult at all. That said, the front desk staff were friendly, and the location was convenient, so I would still recommend it for solo travelers. However, if you’re traveling with two or more people, I would suggest booking a better room than the one I stayed in, even if it costs more."

"Coming off an underwhelming hotel in NYC, my girlfriend and I plus our friend were both pleasantly surprised with this place. The service was really the stand out, all of the staff were exceptionally friendly, happy and helpful. The room is small but extremely clean and modern. The location is also excellent, a short 2 minute walk to L’Enfant Metro station or about 7 minutes to walk to the Mall. Really a wonderful stay."

According to our guests, the location of this hotel is one of the best around.

"This is a great hotel! The location, service, ambiance, and cleanliness were all excellent. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was above average. It's not too far to walk to major attractions like the White House, Capitol, Library of Congress, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, National Air and Space Museum, National Gallery of Art, and the Botanic Garden – definitely doable if you're good on your feet. Plus, it's only three blocks from Chinatown, which is super convenient for grabbing a bite. It seems we might have hit a FCCLA event or something similar, as there were tons of students and teachers (or maybe staff) everywhere – in the breakfast area, lobby, and elevators. We even ran into a lot of them walking around and eating nearby, making things a bit too lively. Since the 250th anniversary celebration just ended, there were still barriers and dividers everywhere, leading to a few detours. I imagine it would be much quieter on a normal visit."

"The room was definitely very small, but beautifully designed. If you book for a weekend, be mindful that it gets very noisy outside, continuing late into the night. While the hotel advertises dry cleaning services, they actually don't have an on-site dry cleaning facility."

Opened in 2025, the Citizenm Washington DC NoMa offers travelers a pleasant stay in Washington D.C., whether for business or leisure purposes. The hotel offers easy access to Washington Union Station, just 1km away. In addition, NoMa–Gallaudet U Metro Station is just a short walk away. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Walter E. Washington Convention Center, National Building Museum and The Weekend Social Club. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. Our guests rate this hotel as one of the best hotels for cleanliness. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling alone.

"First off, I need to say that I stayed for quite a while, and I really regret it. I should have booked for just one day and then extended my stay as needed. This hotel has a strict no early checkout policy; if you leave early, they still charge you for the full booked duration. Why do I regret it? Here are a few points I wasn't happy with: (1) The room was too small. I booked a 'Super King Room,' which implies it's suitable for two people, but upon checking in, I realized it simply had a super king-sized bed, not a large room. On the contrary, the room was tiny; it would be okay for one person at best. The width of the room was equivalent to the length of a single mattress, and its length was about 3.2 to 3.3 times the width of a mattress (around 1.8m each, I'd guess). (2) The hotel only offers this one room type, so there's no option to upgrade. (3) The air quality in the room was poor. Because the room was small and had no windows, it relied entirely on the air conditioning for ventilation. After leaving in the morning and returning at night, there was still that old-fashioned train smell. This is why we left early in the morning and came back late at night – we simply didn't want to spend time in the room. Just to clarify, pictures 2 and 3 show the actual situation with the bathroom door open. So, if you're someone who's out all day and only comes back to sleep, if you're traveling solo, and if it's for a short stay of just a day or two, then this hotel might be acceptable."

"The location is decent, not far from the Chinese Embassy. There's a subway station less than 300 meters from the hotel. There's also a large supermarket nearby where you can buy fresh produce and food. The room size is moderate, but the bathroom is very small and old. The toiletries provided are not of good quality. It was difficult to get a taxi near the hotel, so I ended up taking the subway to the airport."

"The location is really good, just across from Madison Square Garden, a traditional old hotel; The facilities are really old and the rooms are small; Service ... It's hard to say, probably because the price is ok, there are too many guests, and the first day made up for towels; the next day, there was a bed that was not packed .... No one answered the room service call . Probably too busy on Friday ..."
