Cheap Hotels in Cape Town

"This is an apart-hotel located in one of Cape Town's 5 relatively safe neighborhoods. It features 24-hour security, constantly locked doors, and access to rooms via a passcode. There's always a police car and private security parked opposite the hotel. Sea Point is a tourist area, so there's plenty of security in the evenings. The hotel is equipped with European sockets, and rooms are cleaned daily. Each room has two bathrooms. Breakfast is served at Juno Cafe within the hotel building; everything except the coffee is delicious, and it's popular with locals. The only downsides are the thin walls and windows, which lead to poor soundproofing. However, after a day of sightseeing, this didn't bother us much. The promenade is 300 meters away, and there are four grocery stores within a similar distance in different directions. A taxi to the Waterfront costs around 40 [currency unit], which is a good deal. The Zeus restaurant, 500 meters away, is definitely worth a visit."

"The room was fantastic! It was very spacious, with a huge bed (looked like two single beds pushed together), a small living area, and a little balcony. Everything in the room was spotless!! The bedding was dry and soft. There were staff at the door to help bring luggage to the room, but we didn't have any cash for a tip, which I felt bad about! The hotel breakfast was plentiful and halal, which was perfect for us. For this price, getting a four-star hotel in Cape Town is incredible value for money! Highly recommend!"

"The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport, making it a practical choice for an overnight stay or airport stopover. Just to clarify, however, it is not within walking distance of the airport, so a transfer or taxi is required. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the arrival and check-in experience pleasant. Unfortunately, the dining experience was a major disappointment, particularly in terms of service. Our food took almost an hour to arrive, and several other tables were also complaining about the delays. The lady serving us was very pleasant and did her best, and I appreciated her friendly attitude despite the delays. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a one-night stay, particularly if you need convenient access to the airport. The friendly staff and location make it a practical option for a short stopover, although the restaurant service could certainly be improved."

"we love our stay here in canopy by hilton cape town longkloof. the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. very near eateries and supermarkets. most definitely staff were very helpful and informative with their suggestions. will recommend others to stay here!"

"Had a stay 5 days ago before heading to the safari and back again for another 3 nights stays. Similar opinion as the previous stay. Bathroom lights too bright, no power point in bathroom. Service in general ok but was a bit unhappy the day we asked to sleep in and don't make up room, they were very reluctant to provide drinking water, really strange over such a small matter. However overall staff are friendly. Once again, liked the location but price wise was expecting a much better hotel overall."

"Cool boutique hotel with large rooms. Great rooftop restaurant for breakfast serving excellent choices of food !  Only downside is it’s located on a pedestrian street and taxis cannot drop off in front of hotel, and I was a bit concerned as I arrived very late at night."

"Beautiful place for a fraction of a cost. Location next to the grand mountains made it all worth it. Ohh not forgetting that most shops and clubs are a walking distance (it was my first trip to CPT but walked city centre like I was born and bread there). Safe at night. Lastly and most significant - V&A waterfront is few kms down the road."

"I chose Pullman for my conference in Cape Town this time, and it made my stay incredibly hassle-free – perfect for business travelers! The location truly deserves high praise. My conference venue was just an 8-minute walk away, so I didn't have to rush in the mornings. My daily commute was completely stress-free. It's right in the city center, and from my window, I had views of the city skyline and streets. At night, the floor-to-ceiling windows offered a fantastic ambiance with expansive views of the city lights and street traffic below. The hotel's internal restaurant has a very comfortable atmosphere. The decor is modern and minimalist, with clearly defined sections for sofa booths and individual tables. The lighting is soft and pleasant, and the combination of carpets and greenery adds a touch of quality. It's suitable whether you're just having a coffee alone or a casual meal with others; it never felt noisy or crowded. The breakfast selection was especially rich, with a full spread of hot and cold dishes, fruits, and beverages. The highlight was the made-to-order omelet station, where you could customize your omelet with various fillings – fresh and incredibly tender. There was also a coffee bar where I ordered a layered latte with dense foam, which was perfect for an invigorating start to the morning. The kitchen and food pick-up areas were well-organized, and the floors were clean. The staff were friendly and refilled items promptly, so I didn't have to wait in long lines during breakfast. The public areas are thoughtfully designed, with tasteful wall decorations and premium-looking hotel brand counters. The lounge areas have plenty of greenery, creating a relaxing and un压抑 atmosphere. My room was on a high floor, and the soundproofing was excellent; with the windows closed, I could barely hear the traffic noise from the street below. The floor-to-ceiling windows provided great natural light. Overall, the facilities are well-maintained, and the hardware is up to par. All the amenities needed for a business trip are available, making it suitable for both short conference stays and longer visits. Its value for money and convenience are highly competitive among city-center hotels. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Cape Town for business!"

"It is a good place in downtown of Capetown. The price is very reasonable for this location The room was spacious and cleat, the staff is polite and helpful. There is a good benefit, it is a parking, so we han no problem to park a car. There were no additional fees for parking lot. The view was nice, we could see table mountain from the window Overall, I recommend this hotel."
