"This is not my first time visiting this place but this time I don’t want to lie I was very disappointed. I got charged 200 rand cause my pillow had oil(hair oil) I have braids on and additional to that they said there was blood on the sheets which was so weird cause I did not bleed Mind you this blood was only mentions after I told them that I will come back tomorrow cause paying 200 Rand for small smudges of oil on the pillow cash didn’t make sense then the receptionist went on to say we saw blood Then they said there was food sauces as well ..I mean I’m staying there and I was here for 2 nights ain’t no way am I going to leave the place spotless But the receptionist was just being rude which was unnecessary Like I said this wasn’t the first time coming here I always come and never have I ever gone through this even after staying for more days with friends I just think it’s drama to charge me for oil on my pillow cause I slept on it it’s bound to happen a"

"A good business hotel, really more of a 4 than a 3, they clean well, everything is quite new, the room is small, but for two it is quite normal, the location is very good, close to all locations, somewhere you can walk, somewhere you can order a taxi, taxis are inexpensive around the city. It is a 25-minute walk to the Waterfront. Standard breakfasts, but quite enough in the morning. The staff is good, friendly, we have never had any problems. The only thing that bothered us a little was the location of the night club, under the windows, pounding all night almost every day and until the morning, we had to close the window and turn on the air conditioner. Perhaps this is the only minus of this hotel, but there are rooms on the other side, we ended up not changing. A very good option in terms of price / quality!"

"The hotel is beautiful. We had a good time . The ladies at the reception were really friendly and helpful. The security guards would do routine checks which made us as female travelers safe. The location is really convenient and close to everything we needed!! Only downside is they don’t allow drinking from the balcony only in the room"

"I extended my stay multiple days at the hotel since I had no complaints. But when I first checked in the shower pipe wasn't working properly and the whole handle for the water valve came off. I called reception and they came to fix it right away. After that it was fine. Water pressure could be better but oh well."

"I had heard it was in a not-so-safe area, but there were no issues as cars could pull right up to the hotel entrance, and there's a security guard at the parking entrance, which made traveling by ride-sharing app perfectly fine. However, I'd definitely advise against walking, even for short distances. The staff were very helpful, and my stay was comfortable. I was too lazy to go out, so I ate at the hotel's restaurant several times, and it was excellent – delicious and inexpensive. I'd love to stay here again when I next visit Cape Town. I've attached photos of the delicious burger and T-bone steak I had at the restaurant."

"The room was clean and comfortable.  Front desk was helpful and kind.  However we had a meal there last night which made my husband terribly sick. He ordered a Prego Roll. We had to be at the airport early this morning, sadly the meal my husband had gave him food poisoning. He was terribly sick from midnight. Fortunately at the airport he lwheelchair assistance. When we landed at 8:15 am this morning I had to take him straight to Medicross for treatment. treatment.  He’s still not well at all."

The room is clean and includes a hairdryer, fridge, water, shampoo, and soap. A kettle and iron are available on the floor. The linens are good, but the bed is a bit small for two people. Breakfast is ordinary, not luxurious, but you won't go hungry, and the coffee is good. The price is decent. We only stayed one night, and everything was perfectly fine. If you go to the very top of the hotel, there's a view of Table Mountain, and there's a very simple gym."

"HAVN Apartstay Hotel provided a comfortable and practical base during our Cape Town stay. The apartment-style layout suited our family well, offering sufficient space for luggage, children, and downtime. The room was larger than expected and exceeded our initial expectations in comfort. While there was a slight lingering smoke smell upon arrival, airing out the room improved the environment. Staff were helpful and accommodating, especially when allowing us to store luggage prior to check-in. The overall experience balanced independence with hotel-style convenience. It was especially helpful during a busy sightseeing phase of the trip. HAVN offered a reliable, well-located option for families seeking flexibility and space in Cape Town."
