The Capetonian - Halal is one of the newest hotels in Cape Town, having been renovated in 2025. The hotel is only 900m from RCJM - Blue Train: Cape Town Station and 19km from Cape Town International Airport, giving guests a number of convenient transportation options. Keeping busy is easy, with Artscape Theatre Arena, Artscape Theatre Centre and Adderley Street Fountain all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Cape Town hotel provides parking on site. Guests tell us the location of this hotel is fantastic.

"I had heard it was in a not-so-safe area, but there were no issues as cars could pull right up to the hotel entrance, and there's a security guard at the parking entrance, which made traveling by ride-sharing app perfectly fine. However, I'd definitely advise against walking, even for short distances. The staff were very helpful, and my stay was comfortable. I was too lazy to go out, so I ate at the hotel's restaurant several times, and it was excellent – delicious and inexpensive. I'd love to stay here again when I next visit Cape Town. I've attached photos of the delicious burger and T-bone steak I had at the restaurant."

With a stay at The Trade Boutique Hotel, you'll be centrally located in Cape Town, a short 8-minute walk from Table Mountain National Park and 11 minutes by foot from Houses of Parliament. You can enjoy a meal at The Wes Bistro & Bar serving the guests of The Trade Boutique Hotel, or stop in at the snack bar/deli. Quench your thirst with your favorite drink at the bar/lounge. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Make yourself at home in one of the 50 air-conditioned rooms featuring kitchens with ovens and stovetops. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Conveniences include separate sitting areas and microwaves, and housekeeping is provided daily.

"Such a great hotel option, definitely coming back. Lots within walking distance, very friendly staff and the rooms were very nice. Only reason for not putting 5 stars on facilities is because the pool could be easily heated, since it's not that big (it isn't, so the water is VERY cold), the rooftop bar could have some food options, even if just sandwiches. Nevertheless, both pool and rooftop are great, so it isn't criticism as such, just a couple of things that could just make it perfect!"

This hotel welcomed us with open arms!!! From the minute we arrived they were very friendly and helpful, check in was so easy a quick. We pre booked dofferent experiences and ended up changing all the times but they did this very easily and still we managed to do everything we wanted to. The resturant staff were super friendly and it was so nice being able to just walk across to eat at night times. It's a very quiet hotel with beautiful surroundings and the rooms are second to none.

A large beautiful room with all facilities (netflix TV, capsule coffee machine, safe, even computer). Good wifi, noise insulation. From small downsides - in the room smelled moisture. Cleaned every day. Very pleasant staff. The ocean view is only side-by-side because of the hotel location. The location of the hotel is good, at the distance 5-10 minutes of a large fodcort and shopping center. In 2 minutes the embankment is embankment. It was a little confused that if you left the key on the resepshne, it is there all day on the counter not hidden, and the resepshne is located immediately after the restaurant and there is no control, that is, everyone can come and take the key from your room, The key was therefore taken with you. The breakfast is very delicious, offers the menu from which you choose the main dish, also makes delicious coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and freshly baked maffin. The only moment - breakfast starts in 7.30 and prepare it quite unspeedly, so prepare to get out of it not before 8.15/8.30 morning. But unspeed is generally about all Africa)

The breakfast, freshly prepared in the kitchen, was okay, though a bit salty, and the buffet had limited variety. The room was clean, but the sockets were South African standard, requiring adapters. The lighting consisted of two spotlights and a hidden ambient light in the ceiling, with no sleep mode. It was confusing to see that some rooms of the same type had washing machines and some didn't. Overall, the price was a bit high.

Hotel Verde Cape Town Airport

I stayed here for one night as I was transiting Cape Town with a flight the following morning. The check-in experience was pretty quick and seamless, as my booking was pre-paid. I stayed here being fully aware of the carbon-neutral moto. The hotel appeared clean and tidy. The free shuttle from the airport was trouble-free. The directions to the pick-up was simple to follow. The pick-up was on time, and it was a very short ride to the hotel - literally a matter of minutes. The room I was allocated - 233 - was spacious and clean. However, I was surprised by the bizarre layout, especially with the way the shower and bedroom is almost open plan - only a screen separate the two areas. The toilet is separated by a door, though. Other than that, I had no major issues with the room. The bed was large and comfortable, my sleep was not disturbed and it was generally a positive short stay. The shower worked fine, it took a little getting use to the water-saving feature in the sink tap. The toilet flush may have a malfunction, because it would stay stuck when pressed, and required tapping for the button to return from a pressed state. I felt safe during my stay, and was reassured by the security procedures in place when booking an Uber - drivers are asked to scan their driving licence at the gate when entering the grounds. The drive to the V&A Waterfront was about 25-30 minutes. I had a late lunch at the hotel restaurant - Nuovo. The menu was okay, but not spectacular. I visited the restaurant when it was relatively quiet with diners. However, I found staff were not particularly attentive. It took a while before someone approached me and provided a menu. The vegan burger I order was nice, even if it looked a bit dry. It was the only chargeable thing I incurred, which I put on the room (250 ZAR to pay on check-out). The breakfast is a decent buffet of hot and cold food, plus live omelette bar. There’s also pancake making facilities, automatic coffee machines and more. On check-out, to my surprise, I was informed of bills totally 600 ZAR. I explained that I only had one meal at 250 ZAR, which the reception staff accepted. However, a few days later, I received emails claiming that I had an unpaid bill for 350 ZAR, which I had to explain again in my response (I did not receive further contact after that). I think this was a case of staff incorrectly reading a room number when processing, or a guest deliberately giving the wrong room number. I caught the shuttle back to the airport after checking out, again trouble-free. All-in-all, a very good airport hotel, and one I could easily recommend to others.

The room is very, very beautiful, and it is the most satisfactory accommodation this time. Table Mountain is right in front of the window, which is really beautiful. The sunrise, sunset, and night view are nothing to say. I want to live in a fairy tale. The service is very good! ! I don't know why some people say that the review is not good! ! I am a girl traveling alone, and I dare not go to the city center by myself. The hotel lobby manager specially walked with me to the station and took pictures for me along the way. We became very good friends. The whole hotel reveals the luxury of the old brand. From the entrance to the lobby to the port in the backyard, it is so beautiful. I think it is much better than the 1w one night next door, and the view of that house is blocked. The buffet breakfast is also superb! ! There is an oyster buffet... It is perfect for an oyster head like me. I like to eat a barbecue, but the degree of roasting is different the next day, and the kitchen specially roasted some again for me. There is a fine dinning downstairs. The chef/owner is a lady. There are many cultural interpretations in the dishes, which is very good. One dish was made to entertain Michelle Obama. I was surprised that feminism is also rising here. I stayed here for many days and this is one of my favorite hotels in my life.

An excellent hotel in a perfect location in Capetown. Minutes walk from the V&A Waterfront. All staff we came into contact with were friendly, professional and very helpful. We had breakfast included which was immense with a beautiful buffet and a chef standing by to cook you whatever you wanted. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and tables and towels round the pool were cleared regularly. The room was spacious and very well equipped. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to discover Capetown.

The duty Manager, Victoria, was great and very accommodating. It was our wedding anniversary and Victoria accommodated our request for a view facing Table Mountain. We were very happy about that. The housekeeping staff were brilliant, always smiling and joyful to all guests making them feel welcome. In terms of the restaurant/breakfast area, it was quite disappointing as we noticed some guests receiving more attention than others, and at times, felt as though we were ignored and invisible. Unfortunately, on our last day, we bit into a sharp and hard piece of what seemed like bottle plastic in the food from the buffet section. When alerting the restaurant staff, they did not really seem bothered about the danger it had should we have swallowed it.
