"Pros: First off, the bed was super comfy, which is the most important thing for me when staying at a hotel. Secondly, the room was really spacious, about 30 square meters, and quite clean. The whole room was also pretty and had a nice style. I stayed in two rooms. The first room was a free upgrade from the front desk; that room type had a more logically laid-out bathroom and a washing machine, and it was a bit larger than the bathroom in the second special offer king room. Also, the first room had more tables, so there was plenty of counter space, which I think is great for group travelers. The hotel's security was also good. Finally, the hotel is only 400m from the subway station and just over 500m from the bus stop, a mere three to four-minute walk, so transportation is quite convenient. Cons: The air conditioning in the first room wasn't facing the bed, and the cooling effect really wasn't very good. I'd get hot just by moving around a little in the room, which might not be ideal for people who are sensitive to heat. Secondly, the room's internet speed was very poor. The internet in the second special offer king room was slightly better, the AC was facing the bed, and the cooling effect was also better. Below are photos of the special offer king room; the only minor drawback in this room was the small window."

"The location is super convenient, really close to the subway station. Our room was spotless, and the staff, especially the ladies at the front desk, were so kind and patient. You can walk to Jiefangbei in just ten minutes, and the Cloud Eye observation deck and Yangtze River Cableway are right nearby too. Plus, the room offered an absolutely amazing view for night photography!"

"The B&B's location is superb; everything is within walking distance. The Xiaoshizi subway station is right downstairs, making getting around incredibly convenient. Check-in was a breeze; the host contacted us in advance with directions, and we checked ourselves in using a mini-program with a password for keyless entry. The room was spotlessly clean, and the two-bedroom, one-living room layout offered plenty of space. The high-floor view was fantastic, and all amenities were provided, with clean bathroom supplies. We tried some of the local eateries the host recommended, and they were all delicious – no duds! We had a wonderful 2-day stay and highly recommend it!"

To our surprise, the room was also very spacious! But the absolute highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the view. It was truly beautiful, and the city view at night is absolutely amazing. Additionally, the location is fantastic: the hotel is located right next to the famous Chongqing Hongya Cave, which is just a few minutes' walk away. "I stayed for a few days and it was really great. It's super convenient to Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street, the big screen landmark, and the subway station. There are plenty of places to eat right outside. The front desk lady was incredibly nice and even upgraded our room for free. She was very thoughtful, sending detailed recommendations for attractions and food via WeChat. Because it was so comfortable, I extended our stay by another day. With kids, this place offers great value for money. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Chongqing."

"The WeChat concierge was very responsive. The room had a great view, perfect for watching the drone show. Supplies were replenished promptly. It's close to Hongyadong, the subway station, and Chaotianmen. The balcony offers a beautiful night view 🌃. My child also enjoyed playing mahjong, and the room was big enough for a game of hide-and-seek."

"Location: Situated inside Chongqing's landmark 'Grand Sail' building, directly above Raffles City and with direct metro access. Within walking distance to Chaotianmen, Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, and the pier. There are three hotels in the 'Sail' building: InterContinental Raffles City, Hotel Indigo, and Ascott. Ascott is wholly owned by CapitaLand, the developer of Raffles City, so its quality is undoubtedly top-notch. Facilities: Positioned as a serviced apartment, the public areas are compact yet comfortable and practical. The lobby offers complimentary tea and fresh flowers. A significant portion of the public space is dedicated to guests. The gym is well-equipped with at least two treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, as well as a full set of resistance machines. There's also a yoga room with river views, comparable to a small commercial gym. It provides hot/cold water, sanitizing wipes, towels, and even headphones with sterilized covers. The swimming pool was closed during our two-day stay, so we hope to check it out next time. Below the hotel is Raffles City's urban garden, leading directly to a river-view platform – a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. Room: We were fortunate to be upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, so spacious it was astounding. It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a bathtub in the master. It includes a washer and dryer, perfect for families. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built-in microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and range hood. A complete set of dishes and cookware is provided. The facilities are excellently maintained; the microwave and oven looked almost unused. The room offers a pillow menu and abundant storage space. Due to its unique location, Ascott's rooms offer either unbeatable river views, stunning city views, or like ours, views of both. Service: Special thanks to Miss Genny at the front desk, who was incredibly patient during our check-in, attentively asked about our needs, and efficiently arranged our room. We arrived early, intending only to store our luggage, but to our surprise, we received our room key immediately. We are very grateful. All hotel staff were exceptionally proactive, friendly, and helpful – carrying luggage, greeting us upon sight, making us feel right at home. The staff member on the ground floor was also wonderful, assisting with getting in and out of cars/moving luggage and patiently giving directions. Overall, a very satisfying stay."

The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. The front desk staff was incredibly gentle and processed my check-in and check-out quickly. It's also super convenient for dining and shopping nearby. The overall environment was very comfortable. I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"After comparing a few options, I finally chose this hotel on Trip.com because it's right by Jiefangbei, with a subway station and a snack street just outside – super convenient! When we arrived with the kids, the room wasn't huge, and the facilities weren't brand new, but it was incredibly clean, had an excellent location, and fantastic service. They were always willing to help and happy to answer any questions. There were plenty of charging outlets, and they thoughtfully provided disposable toilet seat covers, face towels, and paper cups. The floor-to-ceiling window offered a great view of the Yangtze River, and I felt completely safe. It left a really positive impression."
