"The location is super convenient, really close to the subway station. Our room was spotless, and the staff, especially the ladies at the front desk, were so kind and patient. You can walk to Jiefangbei in just ten minutes, and the Cloud Eye observation deck and Yangtze River Cableway are right nearby too. Plus, the room offered an absolutely amazing view for night photography!"

"Location: Situated inside Chongqing's landmark 'Grand Sail' building, directly above Raffles City and with direct metro access. Within walking distance to Chaotianmen, Hongyadong, Jiefangbei, and the pier. There are three hotels in the 'Sail' building: InterContinental Raffles City, Hotel Indigo, and Ascott. Ascott is wholly owned by CapitaLand, the developer of Raffles City, so its quality is undoubtedly top-notch. Facilities: Positioned as a serviced apartment, the public areas are compact yet comfortable and practical. The lobby offers complimentary tea and fresh flowers. A significant portion of the public space is dedicated to guests. The gym is well-equipped with at least two treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes, as well as a full set of resistance machines. There's also a yoga room with river views, comparable to a small commercial gym. It provides hot/cold water, sanitizing wipes, towels, and even headphones with sterilized covers. The swimming pool was closed during our two-day stay, so we hope to check it out next time. Below the hotel is Raffles City's urban garden, leading directly to a river-view platform – a peaceful oasis amidst the bustle. Room: We were fortunate to be upgraded to a two-bedroom suite, so spacious it was astounding. It features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a bathtub in the master. It includes a washer and dryer, perfect for families. The kitchen is fully equipped with a built-in microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and range hood. A complete set of dishes and cookware is provided. The facilities are excellently maintained; the microwave and oven looked almost unused. The room offers a pillow menu and abundant storage space. Due to its unique location, Ascott's rooms offer either unbeatable river views, stunning city views, or like ours, views of both. Service: Special thanks to Miss Genny at the front desk, who was incredibly patient during our check-in, attentively asked about our needs, and efficiently arranged our room. We arrived early, intending only to store our luggage, but to our surprise, we received our room key immediately. We are very grateful. All hotel staff were exceptionally proactive, friendly, and helpful – carrying luggage, greeting us upon sight, making us feel right at home. The staff member on the ground floor was also wonderful, assisting with getting in and out of cars/moving luggage and patiently giving directions. Overall, a very satisfying stay."

"An absolute beauty of an apartment. We were on the 21st floor of the building with views of both the Yangtze River as well as the tributary, so we could see both sides joining. We were less than a few minutes walking distance from Exit 9 of the Xiaoshizi Station so it was perfect for commute. We were also 5 minutes walk away from the Qiansimen Bridge for viewing of the Saturday night drone show and Hongya Cave. The room was so huge and absolutely spotless and the owners kept in constant contact with us to make sure everything was good. Overall lovely place, very convenient and would highly recommend!"

To our surprise, the room was also very spacious! But the absolute highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the view. It was truly beautiful, and the city view at night is absolutely amazing. Additionally, the location is fantastic: the hotel is located right next to the famous Chongqing Hongya Cave, which is just a few minutes' walk away. "Pros: First off, the bed was super comfy, which is the most important thing for me when staying at a hotel. Secondly, the room was really spacious, about 30 square meters, and quite clean. The whole room was also pretty and had a nice style. I stayed in two rooms. The first room was a free upgrade from the front desk; that room type had a more logically laid-out bathroom and a washing machine, and it was a bit larger than the bathroom in the second special offer king room. Also, the first room had more tables, so there was plenty of counter space, which I think is great for group travelers. The hotel's security was also good. Finally, the hotel is only 400m from the subway station and just over 500m from the bus stop, a mere three to four-minute walk, so transportation is quite convenient. Cons: The air conditioning in the first room wasn't facing the bed, and the cooling effect really wasn't very good. I'd get hot just by moving around a little in the room, which might not be ideal for people who are sensitive to heat. Secondly, the room's internet speed was very poor. The internet in the second special offer king room was slightly better, the AC was facing the bed, and the cooling effect was also better. Below are photos of the special offer king room; the only minor drawback in this room was the small window."

"I stayed 2 nights at Chongqing KuanRong All Suite Hotel (Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street) and had a very pleasant experience. The service was excellent throughout the stay. The hotel provides breakfast delivered to the room, afternoon tea in the lobby, and dessert soup at night, which was a really nice touch. There is also free 24-hour laundry service, which is very convenient for travelers. The suite is well equipped with a TV, projector, sofa, and even a music player, making the room very comfortable and enjoyable to relax in. The location is not the most convenient for shopping, but there are many good local food options right downstairs, which was great for exploring local flavors. Since I had to check out early for my morning flight, the staff kindly helped me pack a light breakfast to go, which I really appreciated. One small thing to note is that the pick-up/drop-off point is not directly in front of the lobby, so there is a short walk to reach the hotel entrance. The hotel is located on the 18th floor (the highest floor) of the building, and the view is absolutely stunning, especially at night. It's close to Hongyadong, the subway station, and Chaotianmen. The balcony offers a beautiful night view 🌃.
