"This river-view hotel was an absolute delight! The room had a huge floor-to-ceiling window directly facing the river, offering unbeatable views – dazzling lights across the bank at night and boats passing by during the day. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, providing excellent service from check-in guidance to room service. The breakfast selection was extensive, with both Western and Chinese options, and tasted really good too. The location is very convenient, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping nearby. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit this city! And Jiefangbei is right by the hotel, which is super convenient!"

The service attitude was particularly good; they even recommended local hotpot places that were absolutely delicious.

The service was excellent.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is perfect. It's right above Hongyadong, and Jiefangbei is just a ten-minute walk away. The room was clean and tidy, and my street-facing room had a great view. I could even watch the drone show from my window at night. Attached is a real photo of the view from my room.

GGuest UserI was only staying in a nice hotel for 1 night so I wanted to make it a good one. I did 4 hours research before deciding on this hotel. My criteria was that it had to have the best views of the city and of the river bank lights. It also had to have a bath tub and feel slightly extraordinary. Happy to report my research did not disappoint. I noticed that a lot of the most expensive instagrammable hotels were all in the same area and even the same building. This one is also on the 56th floor so you are guaranteed to be getting a great view depending on which side of the building the room you pick is. I chose one looking at the WFC building and the river bank and it was great. The hotel is all on one floor though and you can walk around and getting views from all side if you want. The room was super nice and definitely special. Not quite as novelty boutique as some of the other more expensive ones, but with the same view and great room still. As this is a small hotel there is no breakfast, but thats ok. The staff are also really nice and welcoming/helpful and give you a little goodie bag of treats when you leave. For price to what you get ratio, it hits all the marks.

XXiaoyibuchiyuMy stay in Chongqing this time was fantastic! The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious, with soft, comfortable bedding that ensured a great night's sleep. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions. It was super convenient to have a robot deliver anything I needed to the room right away. The hotel breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options. The hotel's location is incredibly convenient too; it's just a few minutes' walk to Hongyadong from the first floor entrance, and you can reach Jiefangbei directly from the 22nd floor. The value for money is outstanding – I'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserThis hotel truly exceeded my expectations. Its location in the Jiefangbei area is very convenient, close to Hongya Cave and Bayi Food Street. The river view room indeed offers a great view of Qiansimen Bridge. The bathroom is spacious, and the TV in the room even allowed us to catch up on TV shows. The landlady's recommendation for Jiang Er Wa Chuan Chuan Xiang was absolutely delicious. On my last day, they even granted me a late check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful. The only minor drawback was the inconsistent and often disconnected Wi-Fi. Other than that, I was extremely satisfied.

GGuest UserChongqing Grand Hyatt Hotel: I stayed here for three nights and found it incredibly convenient. Here's a recap of my trip: Day 1: Took a taxi to the Three Gorges Museum, then swung by the People's Assembly Hall [victory emoji]. After that, a taxi to 18 Steps for some food and exploration. I then hopped on Metro Line 1 to Chaotianmen, where I headed straight to North Cable 720° River View Restaurant (Raffles City store) for stunning river views and a drone show. After a satisfying meal, I walked along the river to Hongyadong [yay emoji]. It was packed, but I still made it there. The best part? My hotel was right in Jiefangbei, so I could just walk back – super convenient! [rose emoji] Day 2: Took a taxi to Hongyadong to catch a ferry ⛴️ to Ciqikou. It was a pleasant ride, 30 yuan per person, and for an extra 20 yuan, you could sit at the front of the boat, which was way better than a regular cruise! [victory emoji]. After filling up on food at Ciqikou and enjoying a stroll while petting cats and dogs, I took Metro Line 1, then transferred to Line 2 to see and experience the famous Liziba station (train going through a building). Sitting at the front of the train on Line 2, you can snap a pic of the train on the opposite track entering the building. I got off at Niujiaotuo and then went to the back of the train to get a fantastic shot of Liziba and Line 3. Then, I took the metro back to the hotel. Its convenient location meant I could just cross the street for an amazing hot pot dinner! [thumbs up emoji] Overall, I found this hotel to be very convenient with excellent service. I'm extremely satisfied with my choice! [playful emoji]

AAnonymous UserThe 54-square-meter room is very spacious and bright, meeting the standards for apartment functionality and facilities. It was cleaned very well and was tidy, which deserves praise. However, the facilities are indeed a bit old, probably due to the hotel having been open for a while. The location is excellent and convenient for getting anywhere. Heading up to Baixiang Street, you'll find a street rich in local culture, with places to eat and have tea. To the left, it's a 10-minute, 10-yuan taxi ride to Hongyadong, Raffles City, and the cruise terminal. To the right, heading towards Shapingba, you can cross the road from the hotel and go down to the riverside to see the Yangtze River.

GGuest UserOverall a great place. Beautiful rooms of the highest quality in every regard. The best features are the hot spring pools in the rooms of course. The showers are also great( two in every shower room) Great quality TV with great sound. Good selection of movies( not the latest releases) but all free. Food at the hotell restaurants had good standard. The best we have experienced in China. But for double the price we would pay for the same quality Chinese food in Norway. Surprisingly! But keep clear of the pizza. It is actually just a frozen pizza type. Very small. We didn’t order any more western dishes after that, except for the Cesar’s salad. Which was good. The place is old now and a bit worn. But it’s still is very very beautiful and high quality. Where this hotell really shines is the services of the staff. Even if they don’t speak English and we don’t speak Chinese they are very patient. To a Norwegian it is almost too much. They carry your bags even when thy are too heavie and many for one person. They drive you you to and from your room if you have a villa. We got an upgrade from ordinary room with hot spring pool and double bed to a villa! Because we found 6 small worms in the shower room. I think this is pretty hard to avoid in such a sub tropical and humid environment. But we reported it to the staff and they immediately gave us an upgrade with a complementary big fruit basket. We were blown away by this huge upgrade. Only thing that was a bit negative and unexpected is the extra deposit fee which is quite high. I think this should have been more clearly informed in the hotell booking and hotell online page. We were a bit low on funds as Banyan tree was our last hotell stay in China before leaving and we were on a planned but tight budget. We solved it of course with our Mastercard but it caused a bit stress for us. And a second thing is that using Alipay instead of WeChat is more difficult at the hotell. ( not impossible)But without Chinese phone number you can’t use WeChat.
