Chongqing Hotels with Bars

This was my first time in Chongqing, and I wanted to make sure I had good food, good drinks, and convenient transportation. This hotel was perfect! Getting around by taxi was super easy, and the subway was also an option, though I preferred taxis. Just down the street from the hotel, there's a whole row of delicious Chongqing hot pot restaurants and tasty baozi. Behind the hotel, you'll find another street packed with local Chongqing specialty snacks, all of which were excellent. The hotel also offers breakfast, making it a top choice for travelers!

My stay at this hotel completely exceeded my expectations. From the front desk's coordination to the prompt response of room service, every aspect demonstrated professionalism and attention to detail. The view from the terrace garden was fantastic, and the food quality was excellent; the 'jiaotou xiaomian' (noodles with toppings) was just as good as what you'd find at a specialty noodle shop. This experience truly blew me away! If I ever come back to Chongqing, I'll definitely choose this hotel again.

Great location, dinner was good, but let down by malfunctioning hot water in the shower in 2 or the 3 rooms we booked.  We had only ice cold water from the shower. Thankfully it was rectified. In one of our rooms (2005) the shower stall glass sliding door had come off the rails, and could East have fallen on guests, causing serious injury from the weight of the door and broken glass. The check-in staff was very helpful, but the staff at breakfast on 6 Jan was quite unhelpful, and in fact started to argue about the prior breakfast arrangement our tour guide made with the hotel the previous day. Rather than saying she didn’t know and would check, she unilaterally decided the options were wanted (and had prepared the hotel for through our guide’s arrangements the previous day) were not available.

The sense of wonder and excitement I felt was akin to being a child again, truly immersed in the magic of the mountain setting. The service at Longmen Pu Village is equally impressive. Prior to my arrival, I had connected with the customer service team on WeChat, and they were well-prepared and attentive to my needs. Upon check-in, I was welcomed with delectable local Chongqing specialties, a delightful introduction to the culinary delights that awaited me. The highlight of my stay, however, was the opportunity to enjoy the stunning sunsets from various vantage points around the resort, cigar in hand and fresh fruit nearby. These moments of peaceful contemplation, immersed in the beauty of the mountains, will be etched in my memory forever. Beyond the breathtaking views, the resort also offered engaging activities that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local culture. I had the privilege of learning the art of potting plants and marveling at the impressive bonsai tree collection, a true treat for a plant enthusiast like myself. The calligraphy session at the on-site tea house was also a wonderful experience, providing a moment of tranquil meditation amidst the adventure. While I would recommend Longmen Pu Village to any traveler seeking a unique and authentic escape, I would advise international guests to have a basic understanding of the Chinese language or be prepared to utilize translation apps. This slight challenge, however, is well worth the reward of experiencing this remarkable resort. In conclusion, Longmen Pu Village is a true gem, a resort that has masterfully preserved the local charm and flavor of Chongqing's stunning mountain region. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat or an immersive cultural experience, this resort delivers an unforgettable journey that I wholeheartedly recommend.

The room was comfortable and clean. As an adult with two children, the king-sized bed was big enough for all of us and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well. We redeemed our points for breakfast vouchers, and we loved being able to sit by the window, enjoy breakfast, and take in the river view. The front desk staff was very attentive, and they even offered complimentary ice cream and sweet soup. The hotel's location is fantastic; the pedestrian street and Jiefangbei are right on the 22nd floor, and Hongyadong is also nearby. After dinner, we enjoyed a beautiful walk to see the night views and then walked straight back to the hotel. We would definitely book this hotel again on our next visit to Chongqing.

Cleanliness: The room corners and bathroom were spotless, with amenities neatly arranged – absolutely no sense of dirtiness or clutter. Ambiance: The hotel's decor is very stylish, quiet, and not noisy at all, making it great for photos. The front desk staff were all very gentle and had excellent attitudes. Real photos: The pictures are exactly what the room looks like. There were quite a few international travelers too.

InterContinental Raffles City Chongqing exceeded my expectations! The Executive Room experience was top-notch. All the drinks and snacks in the minibar were complimentary and refilled promptly every day. The 55th-floor offered a panoramic view, with the night lights of the two rivers perfectly visible. The room was clean and exquisite, and the service was meticulous and attentive. The Executive Lounge's afternoon tea and evening happy hour had a rich selection, and the desserts and beverages were excellent. Overall, the comfort level was a perfect score. This is definitely my first choice for sightseeing in Chongqing, and I'll be back again! The cloud-level check-in experience was absolutely amazing! The guest room had superb natural light and views; you could see the entire river and night scenery right from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The bedding was soft and comfortable. The minibar was free to enjoy without extra charges, and room service was incredibly responsive. The Crystal Corridor on the 42nd floor had an incredible ambiance, perfect for both photos and relaxation. The hardware, service, and location were all excellent, truly a top luxury hotel in Chongqing.

Nestled in one of Chongqing’s oldest suburbs, this hotel is an aesthete’s dream. My arrival was smooth thanks to the porter and hotel staff who met me at the closest drop-off location. Having WeChat and adding the hotel was a lifesaver. While English wasn’t widely spoken (except by the manager), the staff always seemed to understand my needs and requests. They were incredibly attentive and friendly. The room was stunning, as shown in the pictures. It was spacious and meticulously designed, truly a dream to stay in. As part of the booking, they offered a complimentary photoshoot. This was a unique experience and I jumped at the chance. Zihao, my photographer, listened to my needs and captured some incredible shots. These photos are a cherished memory. The breakfast staff were so friendly and a delight to see in the mornings. Despite not speaking English, one of the girls made a real effort to communicate. I surprised the hotel manager by asking him to organise a last-minute driver for the whole day to a remote town. He had it organised within 30 minutes. Another example of exceptional service. The only downside is the nearest Didi drop-off location is a bit of a downhill walk to the hotel and back. It was fine for me but those with mobility issues might find it tiring. I’d definitely stay here again. It’s a beautiful sanctuary in such a fast-paced city. I can’t wait to return.

Came to Chongqing for a summer trip with my daughter. The front desk staff proactively added me on WeChat and asked about our needs. We had originally booked a landmark-view twin room, but they immediately upgraded us to a family room. We told them we'd be checking in after 11 PM, and they thoughtfully prepared welcome drinks for us. Check-in was quick, and the staff was very easygoing. The restaurant is on the 29th floor and revolves in the afternoon, offering great views of the surroundings. Getting around is convenient, with a famous food street just a short walk downstairs. Plus, you can even have food delivered to your room by a robot! Overall, a very pleasant stay. We stayed for 4 days and 3 nights. Laundry and drying facilities, the gym, and dining were all very convenient.

The Ramada Encore by Wyndham Chongqing Guanyinqiao boasts an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the business district and subway. The rooms are clean and tidy, with great natural light from the floor-to-ceiling windows and soft bedding. It was a fantastic experience for my business trip. The front desk staff were warm and efficient with check-in. There are tons of delicious local snacks and food options nearby. The facilities are comprehensive, including a gym and laundry room, and the staff are attentive and thoughtful. It offers incredible value for money, and I'll definitely choose Ramada for my next business trip.
