Jeju City Hostels

My friend and I stayed here for two nights during our three-day trip to Jeju, after seeing recommendations online that it was run by Chinese owners. The hotel is conveniently located near the city center, making it easy to get around, and it's less than a ten-minute walk to Shilla Duty Free. The hotel is incredibly clean; even the water stains in the bathroom were perfectly removed, and all the nooks and crannies were thoroughly cleaned. You'd never guess it's an older hotel. They provide power strips, so you don't need to bring your own adapter. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, combs, and even skincare products are all supplied. The price is also very reasonable, and the owner is lovely and kind. Luggage storage is very convenient. I would definitely come back again! 🫶

Women only guesthouse. The sense of safety is worth the price. It’s not difficult to list what it to be loved about the place. Comfortable bedding, luggage storage before and after check in if you have a late flight, relaxing space on the first floor, cleanliness. The complimentary breakfast made by the staff is above standards. I’m so grateful to be able to taste seaweed clam soup and Korean rice, and making your own eggs. But there are also options of bread and butter, and cereal. Fresh coffee, tea and water are also provided. At the end of the day it is a shared space and not always perfect in regards to noise, sometimes it can be noisy after 11pm. But the girls I stayed with were very nice and majority of times are open to chatting and communicating regards to lights out times. There was an incident with one staff member in the morning who wore black headphones, pink loungewear and had dark glasses. She was a bit rude regards to surroundings and almost hit me while opening the upper cupboard doors and fridge. Later, she was also disrespectful to another Chinese guest who wanted to ask a question at the front desk. Aside from this I truly enjoyed my stay here in central Jeju, and found it very comfortable and had decent privacy with the curtains. The guests were overall very respectful and I had the pleasure to meet nice people. I look forward to staying here again if I visit Jeju again.

What a gem of a hotel! I found this place through a recommendation from a non-influencer on Xiaohongshu, and it definitely lived up to the hype! The location is great, just a 5-minute walk from the main terminal. It's not in the absolute city center, but it's super convenient for getting anywhere. We booked a double room but got upgraded to a triple, which was quite spacious. It had a fridge, and the bathroom/shower was a good size with a proper wet/dry separation. The air conditioning was a bit slow to kick in at first but eventually got going. The front desk staff spoke English, and they offer luggage storage, a coffee machine, and a microwave. The self-check-in was very user-friendly, and the place was spotless. I feel like if I ever come back to Jeju Island, I'd definitely choose this hotel again for its unbeatable value for money!

My stay at Jeju Emerald Hotel was very satisfying overall, and I would highly recommend it. Excellent Location: The hotel is located in the heart of Jeju City, about a 10-minute drive from the airport. It offers convenient access to shopping hotspots like Yeon-dong shopping street and Lotte Duty Free, making it ideal for both sightseeing and shopping. Spacious and Comfortable Rooms: The guest rooms are quite spacious compared to other hotels in downtown Jeju City. They are clean and bright, with comfortable bedding that ensures a good night's sleep. Some room types even have balconies, offering views of the Jeju city skyline or distant Hallasan Mountain. Great Service: The front desk staff were friendly and enthusiastic. Check-in and check-out procedures were handled efficiently, and they provided detailed answers to all my travel inquiries. The hotel also offers free parking, so self-driving guests don't have to worry about parking issues. Facilities and Dining: The hotel has a restaurant offering a diverse buffet breakfast with both Korean and Western options, and the food was quite good. The common areas were kept clean, and the overall environment felt relaxing and comfortable. Overall, this is a hotel with a convenient location, comfortable rooms, and attentive service. It offers great value for money and is an ideal choice for accommodation in Jeju, whether for business trips or family vacations.

We booked a quad room, and it offered fantastic value for money! The room was impeccably clean and very spacious. The shower and other facilities were excellent. The staff at the front desk, especially the gentleman, was incredibly friendly and helpful. Housekeeping also did a superb job, keeping everything spotless. There are microwaves available on the second and fourth floors, and purified water dispensers on every floor for guests to use – truly a gem of a hotel! I'll definitely choose New Jeju Hotel again on my next trip to Jeju Island and highly recommend it to my friends. Its location is super convenient; it's very close to various shopping centers like E-Mart and Daiso, as well as Baojian-ro, and a wide array of restaurants including fried chicken, Jajangmyeon, hairtail fish, Korean beef, and black pork. Plus, there are three or four convenience stores nearby. You'll truly feel at home here, and it's absolutely superb value for money! ^_^

The location it’s perfect. You have bus station just next, walkable distance to the market. The place it’s very clean, the elevator it’s perfectly working, they have a microwave and water dispenser. They provide amenities. The staff it’s very friendly and helpful. There is also grocery next to the hotel. I would stay there again. Good value for the money.

My first time reviewing a hotel, and it's definitely not a fake review! Overall, it's excellent and perfect for a solo trip. The location is superb, right behind the Grand Hyatt and a 10-minute walk to Shilla Duty Free. The street behind it has tons of great food, including BBQ and BHC, all within a 4-5 minute walk. You really can't go wrong with any of the restaurants there, they're all delicious! The room itself is spacious and clean. They don't offer daily housekeeping, but you can ask for amenities at the front desk and they'll provide them. The bathroom is completely odor-free, and the water pressure is fantastic for a comfortable shower. It's also very quiet at night; I could barely hear any noise from next door, just the crickets outside the window. The only downside is that when you first enter the room, there's a distinct smell, a mix of smoke and mildew, hard to pinpoint, but you get used to it after a while. Self check-in is super convenient, by the way. The front desk staff doesn't speak Chinese, so you'll need a translator. I'd definitely stay here again next time!

Great Stay at Oakra Hotel The hotel is definitely worth the price. I arrived around 2 PM feeling very tired from traveling and didn’t realize that the official check-in time was 4 PM. Thankfully, Ms. Gao Shuang was very kind and accommodating. Since the room was already available, she allowed me to check in early, which I really appreciated. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, making it a good place to rest after a long trip. The room also had useful amenities like a refrigerator, heater, and small towels, which were very convenient. My only minor concern is that there was no cup in the room for making tea or coffee. It would be great if the hotel could add that simple amenity. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I would still recommend Oakra Hotel for travelers looking for good value and comfortable accommodation.

Hotel is located in main location near shopping street and food street and hotel is good and decent and reception people are helpful and love to stay again

Everything was clean, from the front desk to the room. The back parking lot offers an ocean view, and the room offers a great view of the ocean as well. The proximity to the ocean makes for a great walk, and there's a 24-hour convenience store just a three-minute walk away.
