"I didn't take a single photo!
I heard it was renovated in July, and the pictures showed a really pretty and spacious interior. But when I actually got there, it felt narrower than I expected. That aside, even though the interior is pretty, it only seemed partially renovated, which kind of ruined the aesthetic.
There's a ceiling fan in the clean recessed ceiling, but the system air conditioner and boiler control panel haven't been replaced and are yellowed, creating an unbalanced look.
The bathroom seemed to have been renovated, but not the floor tiles.
Maybe it was just the room I stayed in, but when I took a shower, the drainage wasn't great. The water would pool, and then eventually drain, but not immediately.
I was worried about a 'new scent' based on other reviews, but I didn't smell anything new. However, there was a slight sewer-like smell in the bathroom and the area with the terrace tub, especially stronger in the bathroom. Luckily, it didn't drift into the room.
Oh, and the terrace tub itself looked newly built and the tub itself wasn't dirty, but the drain and jets looked old, with some slight greenish rust.
Despite all that, the kids still played in the tub for an hour after it was filled.
On the positive side, the dishes and cutlery were all replaced during the renovation with clean IKEA products, which was great. However, there was no dish drying rack, which was inconvenient after washing up. Also, there were no slippers in the bathroom, which was a bit of a hassle.
The bed and bedding were new and had that nice crisp feel.
Since there weren't many reviews, and only good ones, I had very high expectations for the beautiful interior. So I wanted to leave an honest review."
