"The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and it was quiet at night . It was bigger than expectation too! I went to Jeju as a female solo traveller, and found the location amazing and very convenient. The streets were busy and there was decent amount of restaurants nearby, so it felt safe too. It was like 4 min walk to Shilla Duty Free (so convenient, as a lot day tour has options to pick up there) and 1 min walk to Nuwemaru Street. The view from the balcony was amazing too! There was smart TV in the room too! I would recommend this place, and re-book this place again, the next time I come to Jeju! Tips: Take the bus in front of Gate 4 at Jeju International Airport. Things to note: It is self-check in room, where you will receive a message on the day itself on the room number and passcode of your room. There's very minimal human interaction. But the response time from the ”staff” was very fast."

"Amenities: The hotel provides Bulgari White Tea toiletries (body lotion available upon request) and Dyson hair dryers (a big plus for those who care about this when traveling). The gym and sauna are well-equipped. Room service is quite responsive and available in English, Chinese, and Korean. (Highly recommend room service if you want to eat at the hotel; the portions are very generous. Note that Stone Bar doesn't offer takeout boxes if you want to pack up leftovers). Cleanliness: Both the room and the amenities were very clean and well-maintained. Environment: As a resort hotel, the surrounding scenery and the artistic design of the facilities are excellent. Service: The hotel front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful, detailed, and polite! Golf cart pickups were prompt, and meal service was good, with timely service responses. Once, the room light broke and couldn't be turned off. They immediately offered to move us to another room for the night and fix it the next day. Later, they informed us the light couldn't be repaired, but the front desk staff helped us move our luggage the following evening and apologized (with an explanation, a fruit plate, and a travel toiletry set). While such glitches are never ideal, the resolution was good. The hotel's internal communication is excellent (the front desk staff who moved our luggage and the one who apologized the next day were different people, but both were aware of the situation, unlike other hotels where you have to wait for the specific staff member on duty to get information). OLIVE YOUNG Special Coupon: Travelers should note that both OY coupons can be used. After using one barcode, you can still use the second one; it's not limited to just one. Summary: I might choose Amber again for my next vacation. Also, I recommend that friends planning a trip get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in advance, as the hotel is located halfway up Hallasan Mountain, making self-driving much more convenient. For Uber, you can move the icon to select your pick-up spot directly at your building. (Remember to double-check your belongings before checking out. I rushed my check-out and left behind a Marithe hat I bought in Korea. I called the hotel twice, and both times they said they didn't find it. The hotel's housekeeping and front desk duties are very clearly separated, so the front desk only relays what housekeeping reports. However, we were sure it was in the room. Live and learn! Just a reminder for fellow travelers to check your items carefully.)"

"Let's start with the downsides: The soundproofing is absolutely terrible! Seriously bad! The couple next door were so loud, I could hear every intimate moment... I could even hear people talking. My neighbors were still watching videos at 4 or 5 AM, which kept me awake... Although the hotel asks guests to keep noise down after 9 PM, I think I was the only one who noticed. If you're a light sleeper, you should seriously reconsider this place. Also, the mattress was too soft and conforming, leaving me with backaches. Other than that, there were no major issues. Now for the pros: The location is excellent, close to the airport. It's only a 10-15 minute taxi ride. There are plenty of food options downstairs, and Health Road is just a short walk away. The view from the window is also very nice. Cleanliness: Very clean, meticulously cleaned. The room itself. Apart from toothbrushes and toothpaste, all other toiletries are provided. For trash disposal, there's a sign outside the door explaining how to do it, which was quite convenient. Service: Check-in was entirely self-service. Before arrival, the hotel sends all the necessary information and access codes to your email. If you want early check-in or late check-out, you need to arrange it through their online link and then pay the staff downstairs, which wasn't difficult. Check-in is at 4 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM. So, if you can overlook the common soundproofing issues found in many Korean hotels, I highly recommend this place. It offers fantastic value for money, and it's genuinely clean! 😄"

"This hotel's location is a shopper's dream! It's just a 5-minute walk to the duty-free shop, which saves a ton of effort and transportation costs for anyone planning a big shopping spree. The surrounding area also has plenty of restaurants and convenience stores. After shopping, it's easy to head back and relax, and you can even enjoy the street views on the way. Despite being right next to a commercial area, the hotel has good soundproofing, so noise wasn't an issue. To get this much convenience at this price point is definitely an amazing value."

"Nyce hotel , not too far from the airport probably 30mins drive. Centrally located in old jeju, close to the shopping areas and if you are booking tours then the pick up point is close to this hotel."

"I stayed one night at Jeju Ollero, but it felt like three days of pure relaxation. The location is excellent—close to restaurants, cafés, and the scenic promenade. The lounge window offers stunning views of the calm, deep-blue ocean, and the coffee shop next door was the perfect spot to soak in the ambience. Even more interesting for me as a royalist was to be greeted by Queen Elizabeth II memorabilia. 🥰 Mr. Yun and his family were exceptionally welcoming and even allowed me a late checkout at a small cost. I highly recommend this homestay and will definitely return on my next visit to Jeju."

"The wait before check-in, spent peacefully gazing at the ocean and the vibrant 'Rainbow Road' from the courtyard, already filled me with a sense of ease. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very generous bathroom. The balcony, thoughtfully furnished with a table and chairs, was a lovely touch. In the morning, opening the balcony door, the salty sea breeze instantly invigorated me. Looking out at the endless ocean and the scattered boats in the distance, I felt utterly refreshed, all my tiredness just melted away."

"Avoid this place! The only positives are the spacious rooms and nice decor. 1. The service staff were unprofessional and somewhat cold. Upon check-in, there was no one to help with luggage, nor was a shuttle available. Our room was a bit of a walk, and we had to drag our suitcases ourselves. 2. I called the front desk and was told breakfast was from 6 AM to 10 AM. However, upon arriving just after 6 AM, I found out it actually started at 7 AM, which was a complete waste of time. As we were in a hurry to leave, our request for even a little fruit or bread was refused. (We paid for breakfast, so a little compensation or flexibility would have been appropriate.) 3. The air conditioning was incredibly noisy at night. 4. Room amenities were poor. No complimentary bottled water was provided (we had to buy it from a nearby supermarket), and basic items like toothbrushes and toothpaste were missing. 5. There were a lot of bugs, including large cockroaches. 6. The location is quite remote."

"I highly recommend this hotel, an apartment-style establishment. The rooms are a good size and come equipped with a table and chairs, a sofa, a long table, air conditioning, floor heating, a washing machine (with dryer function), and a refrigerator. There are Korean staff members who speak Chinese, and sometimes the person on duty is Chinese. You can store your luggage at the front desk on the first floor both before check-in and after check-out. There's a designated smoking area by the entrance on the first floor. The front desk on the first floor also has a restroom that guests can use even after checking out. A GS25 convenience store is right around the corner to the right when you exit. It's also a short walk to Baojian Road, Olive Young, and Shilla Duty Free. There are many restaurants nearby."

"Simply fantastic! Million-dollar views of the sea from our room, and an open area right outside to enjoy the sea breeze and cold air. The resort has been the most accommodating to our requests, and the staff there are very nice and polite. Special thanks to Wendy who made everything easy for us. She can speak English as well, along with other staff who can speak Mandarin. Overall a great stay and we look forward to coming here again. Also, breakfast by the cafe was delicious and of high standards (see pictures). We really enjoyed the coastal walk along Gwakji just right outside the resort."
