"Taishan isn't a very large city, and the hotel is conveniently located in the southern part of the downtown area, making it easy to get in and out by car. There's plenty of parking available. The hotel is situated within a Country Garden development, and the exterior still bears traces of the Country Garden Phoenix logo. I assume it was originally an amenity of the Country Garden complex, later outsourced or leased to the current owners. At first glance, the hotel facilities don't seem old, but after using them, I felt the maintenance wasn't quite up to par. For example, the electric curtains in the room couldn't be controlled, and the water pressure in the bathroom and toilet was relatively low. During my stay, there was also a noticeable odor emanating from the first-floor lobby restroom, indicating it needed repairs. Housekeeping also forgot to replenish toiletries and left a cleaning towel in the room – quite a few minor issues overall. Of course, the price during the off-season was very reasonable, about half of the original cost, offering good value for money."

They offer afternoon tea at 2 PM with Coke, Sprite, and a small selection of pastries. Although the breakfast variety isn't huge, the fruit is fresh and there's plenty of yogurt. The buffet supper had a wide selection, which was perfect as we came back from watching the fireworks that evening and enjoyed a complimentary supper directly at the hotel. However, perhaps because it's a new hotel, there was a very strong, pungent smell when stepping out of the elevator, possibly from paint or latex used during renovation. There's a large intersection under construction right outside the entrance, but the soundproofing is excellent; I didn't hear any construction noise throughout my stay. Service: Even with the renovation smell, I gave full marks for cleanliness. But service absolutely has to be docked points. I'm not sure if it's due to insufficient training or a few jaded employees, but the attitude of the staff member when I checked in was extremely indifferent. However, other staff members I encountered later during my stay were quite good. I suggest paying attention to and improving the front desk staff, as this relates to your overall image."

"This hotel was a pleasant surprise, exceeding my expectations. My top priority is room cleanliness, and I was genuinely impressed. The room provided disposable slippers, face towels, even disposable underwear wash, eye masks, and makeup remover wipes – all single-use. The bathroom, in particular, offered disposable disinfectant wipes, which was an incredibly thoughtful touch. The dinner was another highlight. They offered a selection of congees and local snacks. While I'm not usually a fan of local cuisine, the hotel's congee was a lifesaver for me – I truly appreciate the service. It's very convenient if you're driving, with free parking. Just notify the front desk 15 minutes beforehand, and you can come and go as you please – excellent! The hotel lobby offers a variety of snacks and drinks, and even ice. Oh, and you can even draw for a blind box prize, which added a fun surprise every day. There are also good dining options nearby. You don't have to go far to find various restaurants, especially the Luosifen (snail noodle soup) downstairs – it's absolutely amazing! Following the navigation can be a bit confusing. Make sure to pay attention to the road signs; it's actually very obvious. The navigation system might mislead you to the second roundabout exit, but it's actually the first one. Definitely rely on the road signs. When I left, they even thoughtfully gave me two bottles of water for my journey. Their hospitality was truly heartwarming. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit."

"Highly recommend! It's not far from Chikan, and even arriving after 10 PM from there isn't too late. I slept really well. The beef offal noodles a short walk downstairs were delicious! We each added an egg and ordered an extra pound of beef offal – a truly lavish breakfast, haha."
