"The room is quite spacious with no strange odors, and the bathroom is very clean. However, I wouldn't recommend booking a windowless room in the summer as it can get a bit stuffy, though they do provide a fan. The staff here are all very nice and polite, and the location is excellent with their own bar next door – perfect for watching the World Cup, which was a great bonus!"

"The room was very spacious, with a large bed and a sofa bed separated by a wall, creating two distinct areas. It had large floor-to-ceiling windows, directly facing a beautiful church building across the road. The bathroom was also very roomy, with both a shower and a bathtub, each in its own independent space. The bathroom also had a heated towel rail, which was very convenient for drying clothes overnight. Breakfast was quite extensive, offering various breads, fried eggs, roasted tomatoes, green salads, and drinks like different coffees, juices, and hot milk. It was a full English breakfast, and staff would assign you a table. I even forgot to take photos!"

It's very close to the train station, making it convenient for getting around. "First off, the hotel's location is superb – just 200 meters from the city center, truly in the heart of everything, and 200 meters from Chinatown. What's most surprising is the price, it feels like England ten years ago! I couldn't believe it was only around 300 [currency]. Other places would be over a thousand. I highly recommend it to my friends."

"Such a great place to stay! Amazing location especially if you’re there for the night life!! The rooms were so great. The beds with the curtains and lights were super comfortable and had great privacy- felt like a capsule hotel! Aircon worked great. £9 breakfast was so delicious! Cons: Not a social hostel. Interesting (strange) clientele. Not really fault of the hostel and just bad luck I suppose, but I would be remiss to mention- I ended up moving to a 8 person mixed dorm because the 4 person female dorm I booked had guests that were very visibly dirty and pungently smelled like fish and sh*t (stunk up the room). I asked to be moved immediately and was accommodated. I was not offered a refund (for the price difference), however, when I asked for free breakfast for the room downgrade + negative experience and was given it which I appreciated."

The Holiday Inn Express MANCHESTER CC - OXFORD ROAD by IHG is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Manchester will find that the Holiday Inn Express MANCHESTER CC - OXFORD ROAD by IHG is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is conveniently located just 300m from Manchester Oxford Road Station and 13km from Manchester Airport. Famous local attractions Manchester | INNA 《ECHOES》 Tour, Manchester City Council and Palace Theatre Manchester, can all be reached with a short walk. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay, our guests have told us that this location is excellent. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"Very location close to Oxford Road station. Good room, comfortable bed though limited storage space and a very urban view. BUT marred by a few areas that really need attention. First, the lifts are inefficient - one of the two was out of action at the start of the stay leading to long waits. Even with two in action, they were often full so time was was wasted on stops at floors when already full while guests had to wait and call the lifts again. Second, breakfast is decent quality but chaotic often running out of items. When orange juice from the machine ran out, which it did on several days, you get a glass of water. Getting toast involves picking up bread, butter and marmalade from three different places then toasting in a fourth one. Third, staff cleaning a lift stopped a guest using a lloft when it arrived at the floor. So not as good an experience as it should be."

We booked this hotel because we had an early flight from Manchester, and it was such a pleasant surprise! We arrived during a heatwave in the UK, stepping out of a stuffy, non-air-conditioned car feeling like we'd been in a sauna, into a wonderfully cool and air-conditioned hotel room. It was incredibly comfortable!

This was in the perfect location, staff were great and room facilities were fab!. I didn’t realise the hall light had a sensor and no off switch, so when I had the bedroom door open and turned over in bed, the light would come back on 😂 easily fixed by closing the door. It didn’t affect our stay and we would definitely be back…it’s a busy place, it’s in the city centre so to be expected. Yes there was a charge for parking but not overbearing. Only negative was that the curtains didn’t fit the full windows so light shining in made it difficult to sleep, bed was so comfy though 😴

My rating: 7/10 Overall, I would rate this hotel 7 out of 10. There were many things I really liked, but there are also a few areas that could be improved. The first thing that impressed me was the lobby. It looks modern, stylish, and very welcoming. The seating area near the bar is beautiful, with comfortable sofas where you can relax or wait if you have a train to catch. The dining area is also lovely, with a modern and pleasant atmosphere. The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It was served as a buffet with a great variety of food. There were crispy potatoes, scrambled eggs and fried eggs, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, sausages, bacon, fresh vegetables, different juices, and a coffee machine with several coffee options. There were also cereals with yogurt, jams, chocolate pastries, Nutella, toast, sliced cheese, and a selection of cold meats. There was plenty of choice, and everything was very enjoyable. The lift was also very impressive. It looked elegant, modern, and gave the hotel a luxurious feel. Our room was clean and comfortable. The white bed linen looked fresh, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable, so we slept well. The bathroom was modern, spacious, and very practical. We also appreciated having tea, coffee, sugar, cream, and a kettle in the room. However, there were a few things that could be improved. We travelled as a family of three, and there wasn't enough storage space for our clothes. A proper wardrobe with shelves would make a big difference. Only I could unpack my things, while my children had to keep theirs in their backpacks. Another issue was that the window could not be opened. Without the air conditioning running, the room felt stuffy. The kettle also didn't switch off automatically after boiling, so it should definitely be checked or replaced. If I could suggest improvements, I would add a small coffee machine, such as a Dolce Gusto or similar, with enough coffee pods for the number of guests and the length of their stay. I think many people would really appreciate that. It would also be helpful to have a separate entrance or easier access for wheelchair users, as the revolving entrance door may not be convenient for everyone. In addition, a secure place to store bicycles would be a great feature for guests travelling by bike. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a beautiful design, excellent breakfast, comfortable beds, and a lovely atmosphere. With a few improvements, it could easily become an even better place to stay.

Outstanding hospitality and superb facilities As someone who travels frequently for business, I am used to standard hotel procedures, but the team at The Manchester Deansgate Hotel completely blew me away for this leisure stay. They responded brilliantly to our pre-arrival requests, upgrading us to a beautiful King Skyline room and adding thoughtful touches like a welcome note from the manager and complimentary drinks. The hotel’s physical assets are in top shape, the 2nd-floor pool and sauna are peaceful and high-quality, and the breakfast service was seamless despite a busy weekend. Exceptional execution by the management and front-desk team.

This hotel is in a great loacation, around a 10 minute walk from Oxford Road Station and about 15 from the gig we came to see. The lady at reception was very polite and friendly which made us feel welcome even though two young goths looked a bit out of place seeing as this was obviously a hotel for business people/confrences. The room was amazing for the price and beautifully clean, there was an iron and ironing board, a desk fan and a hairdryer already in the room. The bathroom was quite spacious and had perfect lighting. Even my fussy partner said the bed was very comfortable. Would absolutely reccomend and will definitely be staying again if I'm back in Manchester.

The room is clean and comfortable, with lots of space to store luggage and stuff. I was quite surprised to see the coffee maker and refrigerator inside the room. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and the staff is friendly. The location is opposite to China Town with lots of nice restaurants for dinning. The only thing that could be improved is that room cleaning starts too early - at 9:00 am that I was woken up by the doorbell.

The room was clean and cosy and front-desk was friendly and responsive. We booked mainly to check out the pool, spa and gym as advertised by the hotel. So it was really disappointing when we found out that these facilities were closed on Xmas day and on other days operated at limited hours when we were there. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are operated by a separate company from the hotel. That meant operating hours of those facilities are not catered for hotel guests at all. And it also meant sharing the facilities with members of the gym. So if you’re thinking of staying here and using the gym or pool, just bear those things in mind. Breakfast selection was quite limited. Very bare selection of any salads or greens. Quite embarrassing as well to see that clean plates were not available several times when there were less than 20 covers at breakfast. I understand it was the holiday season and the hotel is understaffed. But I’m sure this is not the first Christmas or NYE the hotel has encountered.

My man told me the doors locked yet there wasn’t any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroom  As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner, So many thanks to the OUO house members for letting us stay in Middleton 😘
