"This is a very comfortable resort and spa hotel. It has a huge footprint and a typical American hotel style. The rooms are comfortable, and the balconies come with private hot spring baths that are kept at a constant temperature 24/7 with flowing hot water. It's a wonderful blend of Japanese onsen culture – meticulous yet incredibly relaxing – allowing you to enjoy a hot spring experience without even leaving your room. The breakfast is just standard for a five-star hotel, nothing as impressive as what you'd find at a Japanese hotel. The hotel is quite far from Shuzenji Station, but thankfully there's a shuttle bus available at platform 8 of the bus terminal."

"We stayed here for my boyfriend's birthday trip. He became ill on the way to the hotel, so they quickly changed our dinner to in-room dining. We also requested a surprise cake, and they took his condition into consideration and served it with breakfast the next morning, which was a great help. We were truly moved by the staff's courteous and warm service, as well as their attentive attention to detail. Thank you again for your flexibility in accommodating our irregular request. This is a hotel I've always admired, so I was very happy to have stayed here. We will definitely stay again. Thank you."

We were there just when the maple leaves were turning red, so we enjoyed beautiful scenery and colorful foliage along the way."

"Waking up to see the Mount Fuji from the room is the highlight. Hot spring is also available in the room. The hotel rooms are spacious and located over the hillside - the most convenient way to commute between buildings are via car/ shuttle bus; walking may take much longer. Lights in the room are a bit too dim to us. Limited amenities are available, with no toothbrush/ toothpaste in room. Futons are available, but self-serve. Access to Laforet and Izu Marriott public hot springs is available. Unfortunately towels are not available in the public bath of Laforet - towels need to brought from hotel room. Standard dinner / breakfast buffets are available."

"The hotel is nice and spacious, and the breakfast is fantastic! 👍 For a Japanese-style breakfast, it's incredibly diverse, offering chicken, fish, eggs, fruits, and pastries, all at a good price. The only downside is that as a tourist destination, there isn't much to see, mainly the unique streetscapes of the onsen town… otherwise, it feels a bit like a large rural area. 😀 The hot springs are amazing! My skin felt smooth and refreshed after soaking, it was very relaxing."

An elegant inn nestled in a serene Japanese garden, where all nine rooms are private detached villas — each featuring its own open-air onsen bath with natural hot spring water. Located in the tranquil and historic Shuzenji Onsen town, known for its clear, odorless, and gentle thermal waters that soothe both body and mind. Guests are invited to indulge in exquisite kaiseki cuisine, carefully prepared using seasonal, premium ingredients. In addition to relaxation, the inn offers authentic cultural experiences, including Ikebana (flower arrangement) classes and Shakyo (sutra copying) sessions — perfect opportunities to immerse yourself in the spirit of traditional Japan. Only 10 minutes by taxi from Shuzenji Station on the Izu-Hakone Railway Line.

"The hotel is fantastic! Every room type is different, each room is like a mini-villa with a private hot spring ♨️, I loved it! I chose the 140-square-meter, two-story room. The front desk service was excellent; they helped with my luggage and escorted me to my room. The next day, when I checked out, they immediately came to help my luggage when they saw my driver come to my room to help me (I heard this from the driver later). The hotel garden view is particularly beautiful. The only downside was that I decided to come to Izu and booked the hotel at the last minute, so I couldn't book the hotel's food (you have to book three days in advance). I highly recommend this hotel!"

The Yugashima Golf Club & Hotel Resort provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Izu City will find that the Yugashima Golf Club & Hotel Resort is a fantastic accommodation choice. With multiple attractions nearby including Amagi Shrine, “The Dancing Girl of Izu” Statue and Mizukoidori Square, guests will find plenty to keep themselves occupied. "Overall, this hotel is a very cost-effective hotel, especially for guests who play golf. I will stay here again next time. I stayed in the hotel for three consecutive nights with breakfast and dinner. The dinner was different every day and very rich. There were two days of set breakfast and one day of buffet breakfast. You can see Mount Fuji from your room, but because of the cloudy weather, you can only see the top of the mountain for a short time. The rest of the time, Mount Fuji was hiding behind the clouds. It is said that because of the low light pollution, the hotel is very suitable for stargazing, but I ate too much for dinner every day and went to bed early. It's a pity. Next time I will experience the hot springs and stargazing. The hotel's hot spring is Nekogoshi Hot Spring, which has indoor and outdoor facilities. I especially like the outdoor hot spring. You need to walk down a few steps, as if you are in the middle of the woods. When the wind is strong, the leaves rustle, which is very healing. Let's talk about the hotel's golf course. Since I didn't book a package that included playing golf, the playing fee was additional, but it was also very affordable. I like to drive the golf course by myself, without a caddy, and play golf freely. The first nine holes were played in the woods. I was lucky to meet deer unexpectedly on the 2nd and 8th holes, which was a surprise; the last nine holes were more like deep in the wilderness. The golf course is not too difficult and there are not many people. If you don't play golf, you can go to Shuzenji to see the attractions. You can book the hotel's shuttle bus one day in advance to take you to Shuzenji Station, and then take a taxi or bus to go there."

"This is a high-end resort hotel that combines traditional Japanese style with modern services. The hotel covers a large area and has villas and Japanese-style rooms. The area is very large and all built along the river. It used to be a high-end place for celebrities in Tokyo, Japan to vacation, gather and relax. There are many buildings and old objects from decades ago. Both the indoor hot springs and public hot springs are good. The outdoor hot spring can deeply feel the hotel's business philosophy and the deep integration of man and nature."

When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. This Izu City hotel features parking on site.

"The service is very good. There is afternoon tea and supper in the lobby. If you don't order hotel meals, you can eat a little and still be full. It's just that the food is the same every day. There is a 711 quite far away. It is better to order meals at the hotel. If you don’t want to order meals at the hotel, you can buy them at 711. Because the hotel has a lot of ups and downs, it is quite difficult to go out. There is free table tennis to play, and there are vending machines and milk machines in the hotel. The milk in it is particularly delicious. I drank 3 bottles in one go. The hotel has public hot springs, which are indoors, and you can also choose to have outdoor hot springs only according to time."

"Our room was a bit of a walk from the main area, but it was sparkling new. It came with a private in-room onsen, and there were also public baths, plus additional private reservable options. The 'Star' and 'Moon' themed baths were quite good, but having our own private bath in the room was the absolute best. For dinner, we were served exquisite Kaiseki cuisine, and breakfast offered a choice between Japanese and Western styles. The shops along the onsen street tend to open quite late and close relatively early. The location is great, not far from the Bamboo Forest Path and Shuzenji Temple."

Amazing
CChriswrThis small and beautiful hotel is opened by an old couple. It is very close to the white wall traditional hot spring villa where we first lived. The day we arrived at our check-in was already around 6:20 in the evening. After checking in, Grandma asked us what time to prepare dinner, because I booked one berth and two meals. The dinner part is still a bit looking forward to opening a blind box, there are grilled fish burned on the stove, various local side dishes, sashimi, miscellaneous grains, rice, and tempura. When we thought it was about to end, there were buckwheat noodles and fruits. It was really round after round. The room was very simple. After eating a good meal, Grandma has helped to lay the bed. When I went back to the room to change clothes, I went to the soup. The one who stayed on the same day should have a room for us. I enjoyed the hot spring pool. The next morning, I had a table for traditional breakfast. After eating a good meal, Grandma drove us to the nearby bus stop Tangdao Station. The overall stay is still very cost-effective, recommended

__WeChat254005****A truly comfortable and delightful hotel! The food was exquisite and incredibly delicious! I was pleasantly surprised that the wasabi hot pot set menu also came with sashimi, Wagyu beef, and abalone? Or was it soft-shelled turtle? (The lobster in the picture was ordered separately.) Overall, the food was prepared with great care. The hotel has a traditional Japanese style, and the courtyard is absolutely beautiful. Although our English isn't great, the front desk staff was very patient and meticulous in explaining all the rules to us. During meals, she even introduced each dish and spoke a few words of Chinese – we really loved her! There was an unexpected and wonderful surprise when we checked out: all the staff came out to bid us farewell and even held up a banner that said, ”Please come again!” It was so touching and made us so happy; the emotional value was completely maximized. The room we booked included a private onsen, which was available 24 hours a day. We will definitely be back!!!

GGuest UserThe staff was very professional and kind. We reserved the private onsen for an additional cost. We booked the biggest onsen. The washing area and the changing room was impeccably clean. The end of the tub however was a bit scary. The walls and ceiling was covered in spider webs and there were giant spiders hanging on there which was a bit unnerving. Otherwise the public washing areas and the room were very clean. The ryokan however is a bit outdated. There are some markings on the wall and curtains.

LLIHUAHotel location is good, very close to Xiushan Temple, Bamboo Forest Trail. There are 7 floors, which are considered high in local hotels. There is a forest behind the hotel and the air is nice. The old lady at the front desk was very kind and friendly in English. Dining is a VIP room in each section, you can enjoy the food quietly. Open air, go out on the fifth floor. The scale is not very large, connected to the mountains. An appointment is required. The time for soaking is 45 minutes. The time is up before people feel truly relaxed. Breakfast time is earlier and I want to go back and rest after eating. The tatami beds have been put away. Check-out time is 10:30 in the morning, guests can't leave, and then clean up. Not very humane.

SSumiAll aspects of the environment are very satisfactory, the food is very good, but the Japanese-style hotel that does not accept children. It is my favorite Japanese-style hot spring hotel. Another point is that it is more convenient to drive by yourself. However, the hotel should arrange a station pick-up and drop-off. Dinner: Super delicious!

SSteven_NThere are two characteristics of the hotel, kawadoka cuisine and four open-air private hot springs. Let's talk about kawadoka cuisine first. The whole cuisine is very rich. The service staff will prepare it for you in advance at the time you make an appointment. You can enjoy the scenery while eating the cuisine. As for the hot springs, you can check whether the hot springs are in use through the website, which is very convenient. This time I only soaked in two due to time constraints. I will try the other two next time. The overall service is also very good. When you leave the hotel, the hotel will send you to a station by bus. Just confirm the route with the hotel in advance.

Jjianglu888The room is a classic Japanese style, large and spacious, with a balcony offering a wonderful sunset view. I highly recommend the one-night-two-meals package; breakfast and dinner offer a wide variety and a pleasant dining environment. The bathing area reveals its rich history, with the sulfur traces at the outlet particularly noticeable. Transportation is also conveniently located just a two-minute walk from the station.

CCangerhebaiyunThe environment is nice, clean, and hygienic. There's no turndown service. It's right by the sea, so you can go for a walk in the evening. There are quite a few people fishing on the pier. There were a few insects near the hot spring in the room, probably because there's a mountain behind the hotel, but I managed to catch a few bigger ones! 💪 The sunset was beautiful, and lying in bed at night, I could even see the moon from my childhood! The photos are straight from the camera, unedited. The parking lot isn't at the hotel, which is inconvenient, and there's a lot of traffic when crossing the road. 😂
