"Aside from being expensive, there's absolutely nothing else to complain about.
The hotel staff were proactive and enthusiastic. They saw us taking photos by the entrance and offered to help, mentioning they could also speak Chinese as they had studied in China.
There's a free welcome drink, free late-night snacks, and welcome ice cream. Plus, there's a supermarket right on the ground floor of the hotel.
Both breakfast and dinner were incredibly abundant. And there are free massage chairs available for use right by the entrance to the open-air hot spring bath."

"This was my second stay here. The hotel is nestled on a small hill, offering a very quiet environment. I booked the pet-friendly tatami room, and during my stay, I could take out pet supplies, making the tatami area convenient for dining and tea.
The room service dining experience felt more comfortable and relaxed than eating in the restaurant, which was a plus. Breakfast was just average, though. One area for improvement: the forks provided with room service meals were too dull; it was difficult to spear meat. I suggest replacing them or using the same type of forks found in the restaurant for breakfast.
The hotel's location is quite central on Izu Island, making it ideal for a driving tour around the island.
Additionally, there's a small but convenient laundry room on the first floor, on the way to the main public bath. It costs 300 yen per wash, and there's also a dryer available."

"I have to say the service is great! I left my backpack on the bus, and the hotel front desk guy was very enthusiastic to help contact the station to find it. We checked in first, which did not affect our mood. The hotel environment is elegant, and it is really relaxing and comfortable to dine by the river. The breakfast and dinner are full of rituals, and they enthusiastically introduce how to eat each dish. Very good value!"

The area is very large and all built along the river. It used to be a high-end place for celebrities in Tokyo, Japan to vacation, gather and relax. "The staff was very professional and kind. We reserved the private onsen for an additional cost. We booked the biggest onsen. The washing area and the changing room was impeccably clean. The end of the tub however was a bit scary. The walls and ceiling was covered in spider webs and there were giant spiders hanging on there which was a bit unnerving. Otherwise the public washing areas and the room were very clean. The ryokan however is a bit outdated. There are some markings on the wall and curtains."

"Overall, this hotel is a very cost-effective hotel, especially for guests who play golf. I will stay here again next time. I stayed in the hotel for three consecutive nights with breakfast and dinner. The dinner was different every day and very rich. There were two days of set breakfast and one day of buffet breakfast. You can see Mount Fuji from your room, but because of the cloudy weather, you can only see the top of the mountain for a short time. The rest of the time, Mount Fuji was hiding behind the clouds. It is said that because of the low light pollution, the hotel is very suitable for stargazing, but I ate too much for dinner every day and went to bed early. It's a pity. Next time I will experience the hot springs and stargazing. The hotel's hot spring is Nekogoshi Hot Spring, which has indoor and outdoor facilities. I especially like the outdoor hot spring. You need to walk down a few steps, as if you are in the middle of the woods. When the wind is strong, the leaves rustle, which is very healing. Let's talk about the hotel's golf course. Since I didn't book a package that included playing golf, the playing fee was additional, but it was also very affordable. I like to drive the golf course by myself, without a caddy, and play golf freely. The first nine holes were played in the woods. I was lucky to meet deer unexpectedly on the 2nd and 8th holes, which was a surprise; the last nine holes were more like deep in the wilderness. The food was exquisite and incredibly delicious! I was pleasantly surprised that the wasabi hot pot set menu also came with sashimi, Wagyu beef, and abalone? Or was it soft-shelled turtle? (The lobster in the picture was ordered separately.) Overall, the food was prepared with great care.
The hotel has a traditional Japanese style, and the courtyard is absolutely beautiful. Although our English isn't great, the front desk staff was very patient and meticulous in explaining all the rules to us. During meals, she even introduced each dish and spoke a few words of Chinese – we really loved her!
There was an unexpected and wonderful surprise when we checked out: all the staff came out to bid us farewell and even held up a banner that said, ”Please come again!” It was so touching and made us so happy; the emotional value was completely maximized.
The room we booked included a private onsen, which was available 24 hours a day.
We will definitely be back!!!

LLIHUAHotel location is good, very close to Xiushan Temple, Bamboo Forest Trail. There are 7 floors, which are considered high in local hotels.
There is a forest behind the hotel and the air is nice.
The old lady at the front desk was very kind and friendly in English.
Dining is a VIP room in each section, you can enjoy the food quietly.
Open air, go out on the fifth floor. The scale is not very large, connected to the mountains. An appointment is required. The time for soaking is 45 minutes. The time is up before people feel truly relaxed.
Breakfast time is earlier and I want to go back and rest after eating. The tatami beds have been put away. Check-out time is 10:30 in the morning, guests can't leave, and then clean up. Not very humane.

SSumiAll aspects of the environment are very satisfactory, the food is very good, but the Japanese-style hotel that does not accept children. It is my favorite Japanese-style hot spring hotel. Another point is that it is more convenient to drive by yourself. However, the hotel should arrange a station pick-up and drop-off.

Izu has many internet-famous hotels, but this one truly evokes the feel of a forgotten Showa-era celebrity inn. From the layout to the room decor, service, and cuisine, the hotel is every bit the high-end establishment it once was. There are hardly any Chinese residents here, only Japanese tourists on vacation. Meals are served in the rooms, and there's virtually no interaction with other guests. It's a bit like a membership-based hotel, but open to everyone. It feels like a waste not to promote this place! It's a truly niche, upscale hot spring hotel, and the prices are quite reasonable. The value is far better than the exorbitant prices of many internet-famous hotels these days. The large baths have a beautiful view, and there's also a hot spring in the room. With the added meal, we also received a free private bath for the family. Our room service was provided by an elderly lady who didn't speak Japanese, but used a translation app to communicate, giving us a truly authentic Japanese hotel experience. Forget those internet-famous places; come here and experience it; it's a guaranteed, reliable experience worth the trip. Ultimately, it's a shame not to promote this place!

Ddorisyu4853The decoration is in the Western style of the 1980s. For some years, the room we stayed in still has paint smell. I don’t know if it has been repaired recently. I am a little worried about whether the health will be affected. The location is really partial, there is nothing around, the hotel is also small, only eight rooms, no public entertainment facilities, no public hot springs. It rained heavily on the day we arrived and could only stay in the room with no view. Be careful not to drive by yourself. Traffic is too difficult. Compared with such an expensive house price, I really want to faint. Just came from Asahi of Shuzenji the day before, this price is more expensive than Asana, but the experience is like mud. The price/performance ratio is too low. I don't know what the bottom line is. The good place is good service, good ingredients for dinner and breakfast, the next day the weather cleared, saw Mount Fuji, at the same time the hotel helped to contact a reasonable price taxi to the next destination, which is a little soothing to check the mood of the day.

I highly recommend the one-night-two-meals package; breakfast and dinner offer a wide variety and a pleasant dining environment.
