Yokohama Hotels with Wifi

"This hotel is incredibly convenient, located right above the JR station and connected to a shopping mall with stores like Uniqlo and Muji. There's a grocery store on the basement level with super affordable sashimi and sushi. You can easily walk to the Red Brick Warehouse and Yamashita Park by the sea, making for a pleasant evening stroll. While the breakfast selection isn't huge, everything is delicious. Each floor has an ice machine and vending machines. For a hotel in Japan at this price point, the rooms are quite spacious, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. It's super easy to get to places like Kamakura, Odawara, or even Tokyo from here, and all the main attractions in Yokohama itself are within walking distance. Compared to the InterContinental I stayed at last time I was in Yokohama, this place offers so much more value for money; the InterContinental was triple the price for one night! It's also more cost-effective than staying in Tokyo, where hotels generally offer even less value. Highly recommend!"

"I usually don't write reviews, but the service at this hotel was truly frustrating. First, the environment and location are great, and the hotel facilities are new, clean, and tidy. However, when checking in, there were about 30 people in line in the lobby, and only three or four staff members at the front desk. The efficiency was incredibly low. One family of three seemed to be dealing with something for about twenty minutes. Then, they have a few self-service machines. A staff member led me to one of them, and even though there was a Chinese language option, they selected Japanese. I thought they were helping me, but after I entered my name, they just left 🫪🫪! Luckily, I know a bit of Japanese, otherwise, I would have been completely lost. What made me most speechless was after checking out. I stored my luggage and went out to eat. When I returned to pick up my luggage, my friend went to the restroom, and I sat in the lobby for a bit. Immediately, a female staff member came over and asked me what I was doing there. She asked if I was picking up luggage. I said yes, but my friend was in the restroom, so I needed to wait a bit. She then asked, ”How long?!” What's the deal? Can't I even sit in your high-and-mighty lobby after checking out? It was truly speechless."

"The hotel is very close to Sakuragicho Station, Yokohama Air Cabin, and Minato Mirai. The room at the end of the hotel offers a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. It's also quick to get to other Kanagawa cities like Kamakura and Zushi. The hotel is fairly clean, just a bit small, but you can't expect too much from a standard business hotel. There's a 24-hour 7-Eleven downstairs, which is very convenient. Overall, the value for money is pretty good. If I visit again, I'd probably choose this hotel."

"You can only check in at the hotel in the afternoon, even if there are empty rooms, they won't let you check in early. The environment is very good, it's basically convenient to walk to Zhonghua Street, and it's also convenient to take a taxi to other places. Taxis are often parked right outside the hotel, so you can catch one anytime. The hotel has a gym but no pool. If you haven't booked breakfast at the hotel, you can easily grab breakfast at the Lawson convenience store across the street."

"I stayed here because I was attending a Live concert in Bandori. Most hotels near Yokohama were booked, so I ended up staying in Shin-Yokohama. The transportation here is quite convenient, but JR trains between Shin-Yokohama and Yokohama are infrequent. The Live concert was at K-Arena, and taking the subway was more expensive than JR. The hotel is quite close if you exit from the JR station. If you're taking the subway and have a lot of luggage, you can exit from exit 9, which has an elevator to ground level. The hotel room was quite spacious; I stayed in a twin room. The front desk staff spoke good English, so communication was easy. I think there were also staff who spoke Chinese, as I encountered some in the second-floor restaurant. You need to swipe your card to enter the elevator on the first floor, and remember to take your room key with you when you leave the room. The room was as shown in the pictures. There was a desk with power outlets and charging ports, and also one by the bedside. Opening the window was a bit tricky as it had two locks; both needed to be unlocked to push it open slightly for ventilation. Initially, with the window closed, the room was as hot as summer in winter. It got better after opening the window for ventilation. The room had a private toilet and a separate washbasin. There was a bathtub, and the water pressure was strong, so it filled quickly. Soaking in the tub after the Live concert was very comfortable. The length of the bathtub was a bit cramped for someone 1.8 meters tall, but it was usable. The hotel Wi-Fi was available but the speed was quite average; I hope they can improve it. There were too few washing machines at the hotel, only two on the second floor, but they were inexpensive. When I returned in the evening, they were often occupied, so I had to wait. If clothes are left in the washing machine for too long, they will be taken by the front desk for safekeeping. There was also a public laundry room nearby, but I didn't go, assuming the prices wouldn't be as good as the hotel's. The hotel has sofas on the first floor where you can sit, but the common area seemed small, not as big as Toyoko Inn (like the one in Ikebukuro; there's also a Toyoko Inn next to this hotel, but I don't know its situation). There wasn't much space to eat bento boxes. The second-floor restaurant is only open for breakfast and requires payment. There's a water dispenser and ice machine next to the washing machines on the second floor. The room has a kettle, tea bags, and coffee sachets. Disposable toothbrushes and facial cleansers can be picked up from a cabinet in the lobby on the first floor; they are not directly placed in the room, which is something to note. Overall, this hotel is quite similar to most business hotels in China (like Hanting or Home Inn), but the rooms are slightly smaller. Considering the price, location, and cost of living in Japan, it's actually pretty good, especially for two people. The only drawback is the extremely limited number of washing machines. A budget hotel I stayed at in Osaka had six washing machines and dryers, so having only two here is definitely insufficient. I hope they can add more in the future."

"The hotel's beachfront location is absolutely fantastic. The view from the 12th-floor reception is stunning, and there's a quiet bar where drinks are reasonably priced at around 50 yuan per glass. Sitting there with the sea breeze is incredibly relaxing. The room decor is very new, and it even has a capsule coffee machine. The bathroom is well-designed with a wet/dry separation, and the sink, shower, and toilet are all separate. Overall, highly recommended!"

"This is a brand new hotel. I stayed in a standard twin room, which at 26.5 square meters, is quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the shower was particularly comfortable. To get here, exit JR Yokohama Station from the North-West Exit. Take the elevator on your right up to the pedestrian bridge, walk about 30 meters, then take another elevator up one more level. Walk about 10 meters forward, and the entrance is on your left. Staying near Yokohama Station is great because it's a bustling commercial area with large department stores like Takashimaya and SOGO, and plenty of dining options. More importantly, transportation is incredibly convenient. You can take the JR Keikyu Line directly from Haneda Airport, and you'll arrive at Yokohama Station in just 20 minutes. The bus terminal is located next to Sogo Department Store at the East Exit of Yokohama Station, offering many bus routes for getting around. The Sankei-en Garden in Yokohama is breathtaking; you can reach it by taking a municipal bus (the green bus) from Exit 2 here. All in all, if you're visiting Yokohama, choosing this hotel is definitely worth it. I hope this information is helpful for independent travelers."

"The room was quite spacious, and being right by the sea, I could enjoy ocean views from the window. The location is super convenient – it's only about 300-400 meters from the Big Ferris Wheel, 700-800 meters from the Red Brick Warehouse, 200 meters from the Convention Center, and 300-400 meters from the Portside Shopping Area. Chinatown is roughly 1.3 km away, and Noge Yokocho is about 1.2 km. Absolutely fantastic location!"

"The room was spotless, with three customizable lighting modes. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and the shower was spacious and comfortable. You could pick up wonderfully scented bath salts from the lobby. Various amenities were also available in the lobby, though bath caps weren't provided (they offered small hair ties, but they might not work for very long hair). Breakfast was at ROYAL HOST downstairs, which I think belongs to the same group as the hotel. I looked it up, and it seems to be an old-school, affordable Western-style restaurant. The selection wasn't huge, but the food was delicious, and the curry rice was particularly satisfying! It's super convenient, very close to Yokohama Station!"

"The hotel is a convenient 5-minute walk from Sakuragicho, making it easy to get around Yokohama on foot. Although the facilities are a bit dated, they are clean and complete. The room isn't small, the bedding is comfortable, and I appreciated being able to check in at 2 PM and check out at 12 PM the next day. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time."
