"Location is good, close to the center and just next to large shopping mall. The front also promptly respond to your request, check in and out is smooth.
Downside however, the bedsheet and pillow sheet slightly stale. In fact, both me and mom felt itchy throughout the night and we have to lay our clothes over the sheet. The aircon is also quite hot and since it is right by the main street it can be pretty loud.
Anyway, it is kind of a good value for budget with many amenities but the hygiene is a deal breaker here for me. Hope it improves."

"This was an amazing surprise! I came to visit a friend who recommended this place and since then I have been hooked! The staff were extremely helpful, the room was huge, the view was amazing, the gym felt like an actual gym and not a room with some weights, and best of all was the morning buffet!!! I haven’t been impressed with a morning Buffett since Covid times but this place had great options western and Asian and the quality was top of the line!
I definitely recommend this place if your looking for a peaceful place next to the sea."

"The facilities are ok but when I was there, the building just finished building and some facilities are still on process. The food is great but the location isn't convenient, I had to walk 2 buildings away from where I stayed to have a breakfast. Not much of a service but the room is clean, so is the toilet (Big toilet, that's a plus)"

"The room was very clean, new, beautiful, and quiet, with a spacious balcony. The parking lot was large and convenient, with security guards. The room price was very affordable compared to the quality received. The location is good, close to Rayong Beach – just a short drive to a beautiful beach – and also near Central. There are many convenience stores in front of the accommodation. The staff were lovely, provided great service, and spoke sweetly. The apartment owner was also very cheerful, spoke nicely, and helped recommend delicious restaurants and beautiful beaches to guests. The customer service was excellent! If I have the chance to go back to Rayong, I will definitely stay here again. I was very impressed. 10 out of 10. Excellent!"

"The hotel is very new. Nice, clean and fully equipped with facilities similar to the standard of new hotels in China. The location of the hotel is on Saengchan close to Rayong city and near Laem Charoen Beach. Saeng Chan beach looks better in pictures. It's a hip beach for the younger generation to hang out. The location is good for young locals or foreigners who may travel to Rayong by public transportation. I personally prefer further away from city, a more quiet long beach such as Mae Pim beach or Mae Rum Pueng beach."

AAleksei KamchatkaAn excellent hotel with excellent service on the most beautiful beach of the island. Regardless of the chosen accommodation option, you will have the opportunity to enjoy nature and relaxation in exceptionally comfortable conditions, and the hotel staff will sincerely do everything possible for this, starting from meeting you in your own station area before transferring to the island. The organization of the hotel is at its best. Cleanliness, comfort, quality of bedding, friendliness and responsiveness of the staff, security, attitude towards guests, breakfasts, a restaurant for lunch and dinner overlooking the beach, a bar with drinks, two different beaches, a large territory - everything is equipped and done so that guests do not want to leave the hotel throughout their stay. In my opinion, the hotels of the Samedresorts chain and in this case Sai Kaew Beach Resort are one of the best pages of our frequent vacation in Thailand. This time, our large group of friends with children and parents (23 people), vacationing in Pattaya, rented 8 or 9 separate deluxe cottages in this hotel for three nights. Despite the different ages of the vacationers (the youngest tourist was 2 years old), everyone had the kindest and most positive memories and impressions of the trip. Once again, many thanks to the management and the entire large team of the hotel for the warmth and truly heartfelt welcome. It was a complete Sabai. Special thanks to Mr. Lek, now our friend Lek, for his daily attention, kindness, care and those feelings that brought tears to our eyes upon departure. We hope that our separation will be short-lived, we are looking forward to our next vacation. On behalf of our entire friendly company, Aleksei B.

GGuest UserThe location is really far off. In the last corner of the island. If you don’t have a motorcycle you don’t get around well.
There is a shuttle bus which costs around 120 to get to the main area one way for two, but it isn’t that reliable. It is supposed to leave once per hour at 30min after the full hour but sometimes it leaves 5min early and you are stranded for the hour, sometimes you wait until 45min after the hour.
The friendlieness of the staff was from super genuinely friendly and helpful to „ I don’t give the slightest **** for you“ really depends on the person. Breakfast was good, especially the thai soups.
Eating dinner there is very expensive and not that good. The restaurant location outside is spectacular. With view over the sea in many directions.
The huts where you stay are simply too small. I. Essence only a bed that you can walk around. No desk or something. No shelves or something where you could store or hang clothes. You have to live out of the luggage your suitcase. The issue is : there is only space to have one opened at the time, no space for two. That makes it rather inconvenient. The water in the romm is in glass bottles , but it is actually tab water smells like chlorine. I gor stomach pain drinking only one. We were told if we need drinking water , we must use the overpriced water from the minibar.
The beach wasn’t that great. You don’t walk on sand and there was lots of rubble in the water, not pleasant to swim. I would not go there again

This was our fifth stay at Vangduen Hotel, and we already can’t wait to come back! It’s the kind of place that never disappoints. In fact, the only sad part is packing up to leave.
The location is perfect—tucked away on the quiet side of the island, offering so much peace and natural beauty. The clear, calm water and the soft white sand (honestly, it feels like flour!) make it the perfect spot to relax. Even though it’s peaceful, there’s still plenty to do. There’s a great selection of restaurants, a small shop for anything you might need, and a fun fire show in the evenings.
The hotel itself is spotless, well-equipped, and super comfortable. The staff are amazing—so friendly and always happy to help with anything you need. It’s those little things that make each stay so special.
We’d recommend this place 100%. In fact, we’ve already booked our next trip in two weeks! Vangduen Hotel really is a gem, and we feel lucky to have found it.

AAnonymous UserBeautiful view in beach front (semi detached) cabins. We included breakfast during our stay which was fine (but take care some food had bugs). The rooms were fairly basic, not the most comfortable of beds and did not get cleaned during our 3 night stay. Water was provided and towels replaced once, left outside for us to collect. The restaurant was fairly reasonable, music at night. Unfortunately the rooms were very noisy, you could hear the neighbours during the night and lizards on the roof. The location is a lovely beach, not too far to walk on the beaches to tubtim, but a bit too far to walk to the main town.

NNhanBeamBeam9The room was beautiful and clean. I got a room next to the Kahe and Sai Kaew beach. The view was beautiful. The accommodation was between Buggy and Sai Kaew Beach Resort, and it was a short walk to a 7-Eleven. Breakfast was a set menu with options to order in advance. You can eat at the cafe or in your room. However, the staff at the cafe and other areas lacked service mind. They didn't smile and greet me. They were either sitting on their phones or chatting in groups. The water and toiletries were insufficient for the guests. The restaurant and cafe closed early, closing before 5 p.m. There was nothing available for drinks or food. The entrance was under renovation, but every time I walked past, the attentive receptionist would come out and tell the technician to stop and let me pass. Thank you.
The air conditioning wasn't cool throughout the room, but overall, I liked the beautiful and complete interior design. The mattress on the large bed was too soft, causing back pain.

We recently stayed at Samed Grandview Resort and had a wonderful experience overall. The resort's location is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met.
However, we felt that the beach entertainment could use some improvement. While the idea of music on the beach is great, the selection and execution were somewhat lacking, making it a bit boring at times. As professionals in the entertainment industry, we believe there are ways to enhance the experience for guests, such as incorporating a more diverse music selection or live performances.
We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to see the entertainment aspect elevated for an even better guest experience. Thank you for considering our feedback! 🙏🏻

VV.D.There are 4 or 5 hotel building that belong to the owner. The ones that are 2 steps away from the beach are newer. The ones in the back are a bit older. And the ones that I had needed some renovations but not much. Iif you’re looking for delux 5 stars this isn’t the place. But if you’re looking for decent and very close to the beach this is very good for the price you pay. The owner of the hotel is friendly and if you ask him he will try to help. The beach is very clean and the hotel has long chairs and tables you can sit and order in front on the beach looking at the water. You can drink, eat and go for a swim and comeback to sit. That’s what makes this hotel great. As I said the beach is very clean and my 1.5 year old child had fun on the sand and a bit in the water.
