KKhaing Sapal Min“Suncloud Koh Samet has a great location, very close to the beach, which makes it easy to enjoy the island. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were good for a short stay. MMr & Mrs HWe had a lovely 2 night stay here! The rooms are basic, but comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spacious and the shower hot! The staff are friendly and always smiling. It’s right on the beach and the beach is beautiful! It’s cheap and cheerful and well worth it for the money. We would definitely return!

JJamaica VI honestly didn’t expect it to be this good. The resort is literally just steps away from the beach, with waves and sea breeze greeting you the moment you step outside. We stayed in a regular room this time, but next time I’m booking one of the beachfront rooms—imagine waking up, opening the door, and walking straight into the water for a morning swim. The breakfast was satisfying, and the restaurant’s food was absolutely delicious, the kind you’ll think about long after your trip. A week there felt far too short—I could have stayed forever.

GGuest UserThe location was good. Pretty much in-between the pier and the beach. Bed was comfortable and the AC is great. There is a school very close that may get loud during school hours. Kids being loud and having fun doesn't bother me though. The front desk is not manned. No line/WhatsApp number to call. Reception closed at 5pm.

OOxanaOverall, a great hotel with a fantastic beach, delicious food at the restaurant, and clean bedding. Of course, it's a bit far from the center where you'd find convenience stores like 7-Eleven, which means prices at nearby shops are quite steep. However, you can always bring some essentials with you.

MMarinaОстанавливаемся в этой гостинице второй год. Расположена она очень удачно в самом центре пляжа возле пирса и парковки. Можно добраться сразу на катере, а если от парома на тук-туке, то надо смотреть, чтобы привезли в этот поворот, потому что часто привозят в первый поворот к другим гостиницам, а оттуда по песку с чемоданами далеко и неудобно. Эта дорога прямо в центре пляжа, они идет к зданию охраны заповедника. В прошлом году был новый ремонт, мебель не новая, но все работает. В прошлом году не было ТВ каналов, но был Youtube, в этом году не брали фильмы с собой, понадеялись, что посмотрим в Youtube, но он теперь не работает, только ТВ каналы на тайском, в основном новости и реклама. Хотя это странно, в гостинице жили только иностранцы, можно было хоть один канал на английском подключить или оставить Youtube. В гостинице всего 6 номеров, рядом массаж и ресторан соседней гостиницы. В отличие от соседних гостиниц в этой есть свои лежаки на пляже, очень удобно. Управляющий плохо говорит по-английски, но всегда очень дружелюбный и старается во всем помочь, проблем в коммуникации не было. В этом году стало намного больше туристов на пляже, стало много лодок и катеров, такого спокойствия и умиротворения как в прошлом году уже нет, но вода очень чистая, песок белоснежный, все еще похоже, что это заповедник.

GGuest UserSaikaew Villa 65 is less than a 5 minute walk from the songthiaw drop off to get to the accommodation, after the 10 minute taxi ride from Ban Phe pier. We booked 3 Superior Twin rooms for family but the rooms were definitely not 'superior'. The rooms lacked any finesse, with a broken lampshade, gaps under the doors for mozzies to get in, a broken light in the bathroom and a leaking sink pipe, dodgy fridge connection and dead batteries in the aircon remote. The room itself was clean and the service for room cleaning was good, but the surrounding area around the rooms was dilapidated, with broken down storage buildings, remnants of building works and rubbish bags and cleaning equipment on display in the walkways each day. There was a definite lack of attention to detail. It was backpacker style but not with a backpacker price tag. I booked the rooms on a balcony, with a view of the courtyard garden, but there was nowhere to sit outside the room, no chairs provided, just small tables. The location is very good, a minute or so walk away from the beach. The attached restaurant, 'Joe's', was very efficiently run and the service there was excellent (thank you to the waiting staff, who were very friendly and helpful). For 60 baht for the day, a deckchair could be rented with an umbrella right on the sea front, and the restaurant staff provided towels for the deckchairs when asked. If you plan on spending little time in your rooms, and you don't mind the outside appearance of the accommodation, then Sai Kaew 65 is a great place to base yourself for all that Sai Kaew and Koh Samed has to offer.

GGuest UserI was only there for two nights, but overall everything was okay for Thailand. The beach was great, and the room and bathroom were adequate—you don't need anything more. Unfortunately, the staff spoke almost no English and were a bit slow, probably due to their limited language skills. What really bothered me was the constant ringing of the bells as soon as a meal was ready, and this happened at all the neighboring resorts! It was constant because of the huge number of people there. There were many families staying there, so if you enjoy hearing Russian all the time, this is the place for you!

SSilver pearlWe stayed at this hotel two years ago and loved everything. This time, we checked in and were surprised. It was as if the rooms hadn't been changed in two years. The outdoor veranda hadn't even been cleaned. Everything was black, so we had to clean it ourselves. There were cockroaches in the bathroom, which we hadn't noticed before. The Wi-Fi didn't reach the room, so we had to share the internet from our phone. Overall, it's up to you to decide whether to stay. It's a good value for a couple of nights. It's conveniently located, 15 minutes from the center, two minutes from the beach and the action.
