"Super nice Room. It was clean and really spacious! The staff there is friendly. Our car batterie died and one guy from the staff helped us immediately and wanted to jump start our car. BUT one other guy stopped him so he can sell us a used old battery for 3000baht that died the next day as well... Hotel is nice, just that one guy had only money in his mind haha. Besides that everybody is super friendly. There is a hotel wide free shuttle (only inside the resort). In-house Restaurant for dinner is pricey. I would recommend to try local, cheaper food outside. "Serenity resort Amazing hotel - would highly recommend staying here. We stayed at serenity resort for 2 nights on arriving at Koh Chang from Bangkok. The location is so so idyllic and relaxing, absolutely beautiful. We also stayed on the west side of the island for a couple of nights and while it is quieter on the east side of the island (ie, there is no point in leaving the resort in the evening as there is nothing really to do on the east side after dark) this is exactly what we were after. The staff could not be more helpful and accommodating. Food and drinks at the restaurant were great and reasonably priced. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Lovely view. As other reviews have said, if you are staying here you will likely want your own transport so you can explore. We rented a moped from the resort at a very reasonable price. If you want to rent a car make sure you have an intl driving permit (takes a few mins to obtain but must do whilst in the UK). There’s barely any traffic on this side of the island so the drive down to long beach at the south of the island felt very safe on a moped despite the hills (and would be the same in a car). The resort staff recommended us to do this and then get kayaks over to Koh ngam, which we did and was a great experience! The other option is to rent a taxi for a day (we were quoted c2500 baht for 6 hours) and they can drop you wherever you like and wait for you. Thanks again for a lovely stay at serenity resort!!"

"Great location, close to tasty eateries and everyday conveniences. Super nice beach just a 10 minute walk away, love the sunsets! Very friendly hostel with a beautiful garden and front bar lobby area with ping pong and a water refill station. There is also a little workout space for a few pull ups  and exercises. Helpful staff, clean, aircon room with comfortable bed. Had a great time, thank you!"

"Kind owner, accommodation near restaurants, grocery stores, swimming pool, air-conditioned rooms are cool. There is a snook table to play with. The price is not strong. Near Himmel bar too, near the mercure hotel to sit on the beach."
