GGuest UserThe room was clean and comfortable. This time I stayed in a mountain view room, and the scenery outside the window was excellent, allowing me to enjoy the beauty of the misty mountains. Both the hot pot for dinner and the breakfast were delicious. The location is also very close to the Eryanping Trail.

GGuest UserThe hotel is surrounded by tea plantations, offering fresh air. The rooms are clean and dry. If you want to catch the sunrise, there's a small path about a 20-minute walk away. Breakfast is buffet-style. There are no small shops nearby. In the evening, you can order hot pot from the reception, which is quite good. The shower pressure is strong and the water is hot, making it very comfortable.

TTerry’sThe service attitude was excellent, and the breakfast was abundant and delicious. The environment was clean, private, and quiet, and the staff were all very professional. The National Palace Museum Southern Branch across the street is beautiful, with great scenery, and they offer bicycles and scooters for rent.

BbeyondcharlieThis hotel is super convenient, just about a 2-minute walk from Zhaoping Station! They even have a free shuttle bus to Alishan Station every hour during peak morning and evening times. The rooms are clean, well-equipped, and even have a balcony with a great view – so relaxing!

GGuest UserGreat 1 day stay at Alishan Hotel, with dinner and breakfast covered. The dinner spread was fabulous. The shuttle service to visitor centre was very frequent and Hotel staff were very helpful and obliging. It's a good location and starting point fior the forest trail walk. Starbucks as lobby lounge was a bonus.

The bathroom was very spacious and spotless.
There's only one elevator, but it was sufficient and we didn't have to wait long.
I'm not sure if the staff speak English, as we were able to communicate in Chinese. However, they weren't particularly friendly or smiling much, but it wasn't a major issue for us.
The price was quite high for the room quality, but then again, you're paying for the location within the national park.

JJamie C JamieThis guesthouse is located on a hillside by the road, right at Dongxiding Station. After getting off, it's about an 80-100 meter walk uphill to reach it.
For city dwellers, staying in this rural cottage offers a refreshing return to nature. It's particularly well-suited for solo travelers.
The guesthouse is simple yet far from crude; the owner has put a lot of thoughtful touches into many details, making guests feel right at home.
I'll never forget watching the sunrise from the front yard, with the clouds and mist swirling through the valley.

GGuest UserRoom 210, a six-person room, felt a bit small, almost like it was converted from a two or four-person room. The entryway for six pairs of shoes was quite cramped. The room was next to the elevator, but noise wasn't really an issue. The bathroom was very narrow, and the sink was so small that I almost hit the mirror while washing my face. There was no separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. They provided one pair of plastic slippers and six pairs of paper slippers, but I'd recommend bringing your own for more comfort. The communal restroom was on the first floor, and the water dispenser was on the second. The room itself was clean and odorless, had a TV, but not many power outlets. A small hairdryer was provided. Breakfast was an all-you-can-eat buffet at a restaurant near 7-Eleven, and the cabbage was delicious 😋

GGuest UserThis place is overpriced for what it is. It was the most expensive accommodation we have stayed in Taiwan, and by far the worst. Of course you are paying for stunning location in the national park, and apparently all Alishan accommodation is similarly overpriced/run down, however there is no need to charge so much (other than to boost their profits of course). The hotel is dated and run down. Room was dark and dinghy. The bed was so uncomfortable - rock solid mattress and awful pillow. The bathroom was not clean, but hot water was great. WiFi was mostly good. The breakfast looked and smelt so bad they we couldn’t even try it. But we had an amazing time in Alishan and the hotel was perfectly located to base ourselves and get some rest, so don’t expect luxury, but appreciate the convenience.

GGuest UserThis room is basic but located at Alishan which makes it easier if you want to catch the morning sunrise. Would need to walk down if arriving by the Alishan train as there is no shuttle service provided to and from the station. Breakfast was located at another building within walking distance of the hotel. Clealiness was average and room was small but sufficient for a nights' rest
