The Service provided by the hotel was very good. They offered a free pick-up from the high-speed railway station. Some boat tickets that we couldn't use. We stayed in 2 different rooms in the same hotel. This room is slightly smaller and doesn't have a view. Even though the location is good, it's not proximity to sightseeing places or important places, which is a downside. But the Front desk was very helpful, arranged a drop to Yangshou for a reasonable price. Helped with Laundry. Provided with a bike for commuting to attractions. Didn't provide breakfast. Cleanliness is good. The staff was friendly and helpful with orders and takeout. Overall, if you don't mind a locationthat is slightly away fromthe main attractions, this place is recommended

We had a great stay. Very central position to get to the tourist spots in Guilin. We could walk to Shan Lake to see the Sun and Moon pagodas and also to Elephant Trunk Park. Zhengyang pedestrian street is just round the corner. We even walked to the quaint East West lane with the centuries old houses converted to shops and also a hidden gem (small opera house with nightly opera and musicals). The Jingjiang Princes' is also reachable from East West Lane. Friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended to stay at this hotel

The hotel was nice. I travelled with a family of four and got the family room. The room was clean, comfortable and big. The staff, especially the two ladies who received us when we checked in at night was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also very good considering the price of the room. One slight complaint is the AC in our room took a while to to cool down but except that everything was excellent. Staff very helpful .

GGuest UserPleasant hotel with a beautiful view of both the mountains and the river. The room has a lovely tea corner in traditional Chinese style — very charming and cozy. There’s a great restaurant downstairs; we had dinner there every evening, and breakfast is also available. The main negative is that the smell from the restaurant can sometimes be noticed in the room.

GGuest UserIt was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. The hotel is impeccable, from arrival till departure. Up front the hotel contacts you to ensure everything is running smoothly during the stay. Even though I din’t speak Chinese the team went out of their way to ensure our arrival was easy and fast. They arranged for a pick up at the train station. Arriving at the hotel the views are stunning, the well kept garden with pool and the mountains in the background make it seem unreal. The hotel is a boutique style hotel, lots of wood and natural materials which make it cozy and comfortable. We were greeted by Mr Wong’s excellent team and check in was fast and easy. As we arrived during tea time we were offered to have high tea once we settled and were brought to the room. The room!!!! Oh my, absolutely stunning, spacious, comfortable, clean and equipped with high end appliances. I could go on and on about the delicious breakfast, comfy slippers, location and all but you have to experiences this hotel. Mr Wong, the owner even took the time to have a tea ceremony with us. His passion and love for his hotel is visible in every detail. I will definitely be back if I have the chance. Thank you for an incredible stay!

GGuest UserExtremely friendly staff and they definitely out preformed and went the extra miles to welcome their guests! The electric scooter rental is great and the price is also good. Location is beautiful, stunning, magnificent and breathtaking! You cannot go wrong with the view in this location and what this hotel has to offer you. There are also many attractions and view points in the location. Breakfast had a nice touch to it and you get a few options,mainly western but also their local noodle dish which you can have for breakfast a great way to experience a different culture. If you need to do laundry then they have the facilities for you to do so. Over all I would come back for sure.

GGuest UserEven though we stayed for only one night and our booking did not include breakfast (because we had to leave very early the next morning), the hotel staff treated us extremely well. The receptionist kindly upgraded our room for free and also allowed us to have breakfast at the hotel without any extra charge, which was a very pleasant surprise. The location is excellent, especially for travelers using the train. The hotel is very close to Guilin Railway Station, and since there is no subway in Guilin, this made our travel much easier and more convenient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The hotel provided all the necessary amenities and accessories we needed. The interior design is modern but cozy, making the stay relaxing even for a short time. Overall, the service was warm, thoughtful, and beyond expectations. I really appreciated the kindness and flexibility of the staff. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Guilin, especially those who need a convenient location near the railway station.

Not too far from all the sights and if you speak to the hotel staff or if you're brave enough the locals you can have a slap up trip, filled with fun, fun and fun. One of my favourite hotels I've stayed in and definitely the most beautiful and worthwhile places I've been to in China.

GGuest UserA taste of traditional China blended with luxurious Western comforts. Stayed four nights in this charming boutique hotel that is nestled into a cove beside Ronghu Lake. Although it’s just steps away from the hustle of tourism that features around the lake, it offers an aura of peace and tranquility, amid luxurious furnishings and a taste of old China. Our suite featured a spacious balcony that opened up to an isolated lagoon connected to the Rongu Lake by a shallow channel, too small for any boat traffic larger than a sampan. Our suite was exquisitely appointed with traditional Chinese furniture that included a working desk, four easy chairs, and a large working desk. Hotel customer service attitude tends to be excellent in China, and in this hotel it was exceptional, always courteous and never obsequious. Breakfast was included and offered a wide range of both Chinese and western dishes, that included vegetarian options. The White House hotel offers a perfect retreat from the Guilin tourist scene: very highly recommended!!! Coincidentally it is our anniversary my wife and I used the photography service to keep a sweet memory staying in the hotel. It adds a nice touch to this trip.
