Great value for money, and very clean – perfect for solo travelers. It's really close to the subway station, which makes getting around super convenient. There are tons of places to eat and shop nearby, including many local specialty stores that only accept cash. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit! Highly recommended!

Thank you for your help with my university entrance exam.
It was clean, the environment was quiet, and it was convenient with a convenience store and drugstore nearby.
Thank you very much.

This was my first stay here, and the only real issue was that the location is a bit far from the station. The staff were very kind. The only other minor thing was that some fellow guests were a little noisy, but nothing too bothersome. As I'm sensitive to smells, I really appreciated the air purifier and the coin laundry. The complimentary coffee and donuts in the morning were delicious. I'd like to try the cafe on the first floor next time. While some reviews have lower ratings, I think it really depends on the staff and guests present at the time.

This place is super comfortable. The bathroom even provides free sanitary pads for women, and in the single room, I just popped in earplugs and slept soundly. They also provide a bath towel, a hand towel, and a toothbrush. On the sixth floor, there are washing machines, dryers, and even a heated kettle, so your clothes come out nice and warm after drying. The location is incredibly convenient; it's just a short walk from Kagurazaka Station. There's an empty space on the first floor where you can leave your luggage, and with surveillance cameras, I wasn't too worried. However, I'd recommend keeping a set or two of clothes with you and storing larger luggage at Tokyo JR Station; that way, it's more convenient for getting around.

Really enjoy my time there. Accommodation was very nice for its price and a lot better than most budget hotel.
Amenities are very near. Mega Donki Asakusa is just a 5 mins walk and other landmarks such at Senso-Ji temple is less than 10 mins away. Combinis are also found less than a min away. There is over night parking just in front of the place at 400yen till 0800hrs which is v cheap for Asakusa. Laundr in the place was 24hrs. No issue with that. All the staffs were very accommodating and friendly would highly recommend for solo travellers or even a group of friends staying in individual pods / rooms.
Would definitely come again.

The location is great, the metro is maybe 1 min walk. By metro your only a few stops away from any big attractions. And after a long day in the city you can come back to enjoy the onsen. The only bad thing I can say about my stay was the someone in the capsule across from mine snored so loud it was nearly impossible to sleep.

The lady at the reception is very nice. The building may be very old, but the renovated part is beautiful. Clean and tidy.

Genuinely amazing, great location and you actually have a bit of space for your luggage. Easy to swap cleaning/do not disturb/no cleaning needed signs to save you some hassle if you are a late riser like me.
Most staff are bilingual, there is a convenience store WITHIN the hotel which is also amazing.
Easy access to Sunshine City, overall could not ask for a better place- you may see cheaper business hotels on your search, but I assure you the extra money you spend here makes a difference.

Great
KkhosodaI had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was genuinely impressed by every aspect of the experience. The cleanliness was exceptional—everything from the room to the common areas was spotless and very well maintained. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing more than enough space to relax after a long day.
The location is another major highlight. It is very convenient and well-situated, making it easy to access nearby attractions, transportation, and restaurants. This made my stay even more enjoyable and stress-free.
The service was outstanding throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm and professional attitude. Their hospitality truly made a difference.
The food was also delicious, with a great variety of options and excellent quality. Every meal I had was satisfying and enjoyable.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and excellent service.
GGuest UserGreat location, and the airport shuttle was super convenient! I'd definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in Shinjuku. The service and cleanliness were also very good. Breakfast was just okay, with a limited selection, but the facilities were comprehensive. Plus, there's a convenience store right downstairs.
GGuest UserQuite a disappointing stay. I initially thought it was a Dormy Inn because the first characters of the name were the same, and it was also a hot spring hotel, which made it very confusing. The service here was a world apart from Dormy Inn. The room was incredibly small. The breakfast in the pictures looked very rich, and I thought it would be a lavish buffet, but it turned out to be just a bento box, and they didn't even provide cutlery. The price wasn't cheap either. It really ruined my mood. The hot spring was also tiny, and they didn't even provide hair dryers in the hot spring area.
MmtmlCleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob).
Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn.
They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park.
However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay:
1. They insisted on entering my room for an ”inspection” but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around.
2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said ”oh... sorry” suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.
SSupattra(kung)The room is small, Japanese-style11 sqm i book conneting room, The location is very convenient, close to JR. There’s a FamilyMart, AEON, and many delicious and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. You can walk to Tobu Department Store every day for shopping.
The hotel offers a welcome drink available anytime, and there is a separate onsen for men and women. In the evening at 6:00 PM, there is a free happy hour with drinks—perfect for alcohol lovers. My husband really loved it.
The amenities are also of good quality. If I visit Japan again, I would definitely choose to stay here—the price is very reasonable too.
AAnonymous UserEvery time I visit Tokyo, I stay at this hotel, and the service is consistently great. My only recurring comment, which I've made before, is about the breakfast. It hasn't changed in years, not even the layout. I really hope the hotel can improve this and start offering eggs, whether boiled or fried.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is a typical budget option with nothing particularly memorable about the stay. Basic amenities were provided, but not well maintained — the soap and shampoo came in small sachets and were not consistently replenished. The pillow was quite small and overly soft, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
CCN_NanaThe facility was great in general. Except you cant stay over the day its just for sleeping, showering and then you can leave it ln daytime, leave your stuff, as they clean and restrict the sleeping area. Otherwise it was kind of an all inclusive experience and did have a clean and nice washroom, as well as all round service. But it was a bit loud in the morning, the cleaning stuff rummages around exactly in front of the bed, talking, making noise cleaining beds 2 hours before check out.
GGuest UserEasy 6-7min walk to Keisei-Ueno (Skyliner) station and Ueno station. Main and Annex blocks. Single room SUPER SMALL. Unable to fully open clam-shell suitcase on the floor. Have to place it on “foldable” table.
HUGE Pillar about 70cmx70cm occupies 1 corner of the room. Widest path between bed and wall about 80 cm.
GGuest UserThe stay was enjoyable. The person that cleaned the rooms was really friendly and helped us always out. Washing machine was perfect for us. The only complain I have is that under the bed it was really dirty.
