Located just a 3-minute walk from Hakata Station, a major gateway to Kyushu with heavy foot traffic, the hotel enjoys an excellent location. The spacious lounge on the top floor features iconic large trees and abundant indoor plants, creating a relaxing atmosphere reminiscent of a courtyard. Please use the hotel as your base for activities in Fukuoka and across Kyushu.

Nestled near Hakata Station, this hotel is clean and modern and provides all the amenities you need. The shower cubicle features a rain head which helps you relax after a long day of walking! The lounge area is big, which provides you with a calm and theuraptic place to relax. The lounge also has a balcony area where you can breath fresh air and just watch the surrounding area. There are plenty of food options nearby. However do note they don't have laundry machines in the hotel so you will have to bring your laundry to the coin laundry shop in the area. Nonetheless, will definitely stay here again in the future!

The hotel's location is excellent, right near Hakata Station. From JR Hakata Station, take the Chikushi Exit East, turn right onto the sidewalk and walk straight. After the first large intersection, continue straight. You'll soon cross a smaller intersection, and past that will be a Lawson convenience store. The hotel entrance is right after Lawson. If you find the right exit, it's very easy to get to, taking about 3-4 minutes. The subway entrances for the Airport Line and Nanakuma Line are even closer to the hotel. The front desk staff was very friendly. They explained all the rules in English, even using pictures to detail the daily housekeeping services. The room size was decent, not small by Japanese standards. The overall hygiene was good. The room window could be opened slightly, though there was no view. Because of its convenience, I would consider staying here again in the future.

Like all the other reviews here, Forza’s location can’t be beaten. Its literally less than 1 min walk from the airport bus stop. The popular Hakata Station is also within a minute walk. The location alone earns the hotel a 5 star. Checking in and out of hotel was also an ease. The staff at the counter was helpful and friendly. A bag of toiletries was also prepared for my 8 yr old with kiddy slippers, which was much appreciated. The room was decent size, we chose the 豪華雙人房 (19 sq m I think?) with a mini couch area – perfect for backpacks, a window, and a portable massage mat. I loved the magnets that we can stick to the door to let the cleaners know whether or not our room needs to be cleaned. What’s more is that there is an option to choose “Take out trash and change towels only”. This is a really thoughtful option, because we really don’t need our room to be made up every day. And it’s perfect that we can just have the trash taken out and towels changed. I was a bit nervous about the cleanliness of the hotel rooms after reading some of the reviews on here, especially when I have a kid with me. I don’t want her to get sick from the germs in the room. But to my surprise, the room was quite decent, atleast I didn’t see any visible dustballs or dirty air con ventilators. Maybe because the hotel already took action to clean all the rooms and air con vents after reading some of the reviews here about dirty air con vents? I took a photo of our room air con vents for parents to take a look =) The air purifier in the room was also very comforting. We stayed in Forza for 6 days and none of us got sick =D For the first 2 days, I did smell a bit of a urine smell when you kneel close to the carpet/toilet. It was a slight faint smell. By the 3rd day, there wasn’t much noticeable smell anymore, not sure if it was the air purifier that helped or if we got use to it. Hahaha. On one of the nights that we returned to the hotel, we noticed that the cleaners had forgotten to put a trash bag back into the trash can. So I called reception and told them. The suited man that came with a trash bag didn’t seem too friendly. He looked like he either didn’t want to be there, didn’t know what he needed to do, or that we are trying to cheat him of a plastic bag. Anyway, I had to explain that I need a trash bag because I didn’t want to make the trash can dirty. I even had to SHOW him the trash can to convince him why I needed a bag. When he finally saw the empty trash can, he gave us a plastic bag, and left an extra one inside the trash can. He didn’t seem too pleased that I was trying to help protect the hotel’s assets, he just looks as if I disturbed his night. The shower head took some time to get use to too. Normally shower heads will be placed at a slight angle, but the shower heads in our room shoots straight at a 90 degree angle, which was quite hard to use coz the water will be shooting directly at your chest, and you would need to kneel down a bit to wash your hair, otherwise you would need to hold the shower head with one hand, while washing with the other hand. It’s a bit hard to explain, so I took some photos to show. But you will know what I mean when you stay at the hotel. Anyway, overall the stay was still very pleasant. I will definitely choose Forza again the next time I visit Fukuoka. Thank you Forza.

The hotel was clean and tidy, and it's just a 5-minute walk from Hakata Station. It's super convenient to be in the city center, right in the heart of Fukuoka. Breakfast was decent, and the service was great. Plus, the supermarket in the electronics store across the street had cheap and delicious food.

The room was a little smaller than another hotel with breakfast I've stayed at, but that wasn't a big deal. The toiletries provided were limited to toothpaste and toothbrushes; it would have been even better if skincare products were also available. Breakfast was Western-style, and guests could make their own pizzas.

Everything was great, exceeding our expectations. The only minor issue was not being able to call an Uber from the hotel, so we had to ask the front desk to call an airport taxi, which was quite expensive. Other than that, we were very satisfied.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, right across the street from Hakata Station. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious, and there's a 7-Eleven downstairs. The bus terminal is also just across the road, and a taxi to the airport costs around 2030 yen. It's definitely the top choice when visiting Fukuoka.

This feels more like a 4-star hotel that doesn't live up to its name. We stayed for two nights, and despite requesting room cleaning, it was never done. We had to find a staff member ourselves in the evening to tidy up. We booked a room with a kitchen, but shockingly, we had to go to the front desk to pick up the kitchen utensils (which were quite heavy), which was a real hassle. The air conditioning in the room was very loud, so I'd advise anyone with light sleep to be cautious when booking. I do not recommend it.

The public bath was smaller than those in the other hotels we’ve stayed at, but overall it was great. I found the view from the bath very relaxing. Having a sauna and a gym would make it even better. Breakfast was tasty and offered a wide selection of different foods, mostly Asian dishes. I had high expectations for the kaisendon, but unfortunately it was just okay. I appreciated the professional attitude of the restaurant staff. Overall, the service met the expected standards. .

VVisited Japan 30 yearsDo not book this hotel. The hotel doesn't have a formal front entry and the taxi dropped us with luggage in the back, we walked a long way to get to the 19F front desk after dark. Trip.com didn't specifically mention this. Don't expect any welcome from arrival with your luggage. Rooms, corridors, and even front desks extremely dark you can hardly see anyone's face at Concierge. Front desks staff English level is bad. One female staff with a long fringe was asked to book a sushi restaurant, first she booked a Yen32,000 per head Ritz-Carlton place, and then called me. I declined and said cancel that, she said will find another, she never call again. Then the blonde guy came to my room suddenly and replied a Sushi restaurant is booked and looked impatient. He showed me his phone with a picture of the restaurant, I took a picture. On 25 December 2025, the Blonde guy told me it was not possible to even call a taxi to stop at the building B3 driveway or ground level at a particular time, and I have to get a cab standing out in the on the street with 5 degrees outside in the dark. Later on, I went up physically and asked another Japanese female staff who said she would call a taxi for me arriving at B3 at 6.35pm, and then, I went back in my room suddenly the blonde guy called at 6.25pm and told us it arrived. What happens to the Japanese staff who promised to let me know at 630pm the car plate? I had to rushed down with my child and partner to the taxi who didn't even stop at the correct address of the restaurant. I suspect they concocted this on purpose because we looked like Chinese. When checking in, that same fringed hair staff seemed uncertain if I have booked and paid two rooms and didn't tell me the wifi passwords or any Restaurant Reservation Terms for booking a restaurant. On 5pm, 27 December 2025, I called the front and asked to confirm again about my sushi restaurant booking time. A Japanese local guy said he would check. And then the fringed woman suddenly came to my room, and gave me a piece of paper called the Restaurant Reservation Terms, but she couldn't explain what's going on and didn't use her translator machine. It was not shown to me at the time I asked her to book a restaurant. After not knowing what had happened, the front desk local Japanese male staff called back and said the hotel front desk (apparently the fringed woman and the blonde guy) both booked restaurant for us and one is for 630pm and one is 7pm, one is a branch restaurant and one is the main restaurant! That explained why the fringed woman who messed up gave me that piece of Terms and seemingly tried to have me pay the penalty for her and her blonde colleague's mistake of double booking. No wonder she looked dubiously sly when she gave me that Terms. This only came to my realization because I rang at 5pm to confirm time! The only pros: is that the head table next to the bed is movable, close to shopping and the massage ladies were good, but no mention in Trip.com that in-room massage is available by demand. The fact that no hotel specific car drive entry is omitted in the hotel website and in Trip.com. In the end we had to speak to the manager who apologized for all the mess and frustrations created by the staff team for my family holiday.

GGuest UserThe location was great - about 15min walk to Hakata station, a good number of cafes and eateries around including convenient stores, a pharmacy and a supermart. There's a subway exit just 10m from the main entrance, which is really bonus. The hotel is clean (room service on alternate days, though they do provide fresh towels and water every day) and modern, with a cosy onsen located at 1F (which my wife adores); the onsen is split by gender and accessible with your room cards only. Near the onsen is a tiny rest area with free popsicles (while stock lasts), and there are 5 washers cum dryers - 2 in the men's onsen area and 3 in the women's. Overall, we had a really pleasant stay and chances are we will return since there's still so much of Fukuoka we have yet to see and explore.

GGuodongbudingmakalongThe room was very spacious and comfortable. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street and a Family Mart next to the hotel. From the window, you can see a cemetery. Turn right out of the hotel and walk about 50 meters to find the Daedongwon BBQ restaurant. There are lots of dining options nearby! The subway station is less than a 3-minute walk away, Canal City is an 8-10 minute walk, and Don Quijote in Nakasu is about a 10-minute walk. I'd definitely recommend staying here. It's rare to find such a large and comfortable room in Japan. There's even a massage chair, and the bathroom comes with facial masks. The hairdryer is a Refa, which is great, and the large bathtub is perfect for a relaxing soak.

IidolphindoFirst off, the hotel's location is superb. The airport shuttle stops right downstairs, and there's direct subway access from the B2 level via elevator, which is incredibly convenient. While the hotel facilities are a bit simple, they are spotlessly clean and tidy. The bedding and room temperature settings are also very thoughtful – not too hot, not too cold – surpassing most five-star hotels back home. Plus, they offer complimentary soba noodles and sake in the evenings, which is an absolute steal! The hotel breakfast is decent too, with a good variety of options, including burgers that kids will love. Oh, and next to the lobby there's a nice dessert and casual dining spot where hotel guests get a 10% discount. It's super easy to explore and find food nearby, making it highly recommended for family trips!

BBeautiful day to travelWe stayed as a family of four in a room with four beds for one night, and it was a great experience. The location is excellent — just a few minutes’ walk from the train station once you exit, with convenient stores nearby. The hotel sits at the beginning/end of the Tenjin area, making it perfect for food, shopping, and exploring. What we loved most was that it’s surrounded by several Yatai stalls. When we first arrived in Fukuoka, we stayed in the Hakata area and had trouble finding Yatai. Staying here made it so easy to enjoy the Yatai vibes, even though the food is similar across stalls. Highly recommend staying in this area instead if Yatai is what you’re looking for! Service at the hotel was very good — staff were kind and helpful, from assisting with luggage storage to helping us call a taxi in the morning. The hotel also has a small spa room, though it can get quite crowded. There’s a self-service laundry room too, costing about 100–300 yen for wash and dry, which is very convenient. The room was comfortable with cold air-conditioning, cosy blankets, and a dehumidifier/air purifier provided. Everything was just right for a good night’s sleep. Overall, a pleasant and convenient stay — great location and helpful staff. Would recommend!

GGuest UserExcellent service from the hotel! They allowed us to leave our luggage for two nights even before checking in (as we’re taking a trip out of Fukuoka). Room is spacious for a Japan hotel standard. Only downside was the curtains that doesn’t seem to be blackout curtains. Breakfast has a decent spread! Convenient location but the nearest subway exit to the hotel does not have a lift / escalator though! The famous full full bakery and shin shin ramen ar just a few mins walk from the hotel.

GGuest UserThe hotel is technically in between 3 subway stations — Hakata (7 - 8 mins walk), Gion (7 - 8 mins walk), and Kushida Shrine (2 mins walk) — and also located conveniently near Canal City Hakata shopping mall, Kushida shrine, and many stores and restaurants nearby. The cleanliness of the hotel overall was good but a little less positive for the room itself, as some parts of the washroom’s privacy blinds looked like they aren’t cleaned regularly and edges of the room’s carpet were often not cleaned well (wearing slippers in the room and not touching the privacy blinds easily mitigates these concerns). A personal issue and warning for taller guests would be that the position of the toilet in the narrow bathroom (at least for the ‘cozy double’ room) requires users to face a section of the wall quite closely when seated, which would likely be uncomfortable/ impossible for people taller than 175 cm to use while sitting down (the attached photo is taken with a 0.6x camera lens). The air conditioning for the rooms was shared by a central air system which cooled the rooms well, but it is worth noting for those with sensitive noses that there was a very faint but noticeable odour of old cigarette smoke in the room despite the current no-smoke policy. The coin laundry room is very small with only 1 washing machine, 1 dryer, and 1 hybrid washer-dryer machine (also, no coin exchange machine is present), so I recommend washing mid-day or in the early evening if possible. The front desk receptionists and cleaning staff were kind and approachable (in both English and Japanese), the check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and the hotel did offer free luggage storage services after check-out. Overall, an enjoyable and budget-friendly stay.
