standard one-night stop hotel on a budget pros: - minutes walk to SongJeong Beach, many restaurants near by (Korean, Vietnamese), many cute coffee shops nearby - 2someplace, holly coffee, meret, and so on. - luggage storage - nice and polite front desk who can speak just enough English to make things easy for check-in and check-out - my room comes with a big TV with internet and 2 good PCs - quiet area, no noise, quite peaceful - the Beauty Box provides you many small items for your convenient stay, a lot more than other luxury expensive hotels in Busan (such as toothbrushes and toothpaste), with no extra charge cons: - it’s an old hotel, so expect nothing fancy here - expect no view. the window is facing the sea, yes. but you won’t be able to see the sea due to the distance and the mosquito net that blocks the view (still better than facing a wall or another building) - PC technical issues! i was able to play 1 game of LoL, and then the internet drops / other technical problems happened, and i couldn’t play LoL at all for the rest of the night. - really late check-in time (5PM), but at least they keep my luggages conclusion: good cheap place for a one night rest. bang for the buck.

Overall it was clean but there were some clumps of hair in the little hallway and bathroom. I loved the location, it was super close to the beach and all other activities were within walking distance. It was my own mistake that I didn't realize how far it was from the station and Naver keeps recommending to take the bus. If you have luggage, for your own sanity please take the metro!

I had a really great stay here. I was hesitant to book hostels because it was my first time traveling solo, but this place is the place to be. I love the lounge area because the area is big and comfortably welcomes you. The room I had stayed in was the 8 bunk bed room and it was really spacious inside. I requested a bottom bunk bed and I was accommodated with it. The bunk beds were spacious as well, but the wifi was kinda laggy in our room. There's also a GS25 just across the street. The only think I'm sad about is the lack of laundry facility. But overall, I would recommend this place, and I would also book here again some time in the future.

Overall, I had a great experience at this hostel. Rooms are soundproof enough that any noise outside didn't disturb me. There weren't many guests when I stayed there, but I had a few friendly chats with some of them. I had to work from midday until midnight and there was no table in the room so I stayed in the common area which had the most amazing view of the sea and the beach. The staff was mostly not there but they were friendly when we interacted and they let me check in early :) Things to improve: - it wasn't the cleanest. I wish I could vacuum myself at least because the floor upon my arrival wasn't very clean. also as soon as I turned on the AC I was starting to cough uncontrollably, almost choking on my coughs so I guess it hasn't been cleaned for a long time - in the evening they turn off all the lights in the common area so it's very dark and you can't see anything. I asked the staff to leave some lights for me because I had to work, but they just turned on one desktop lamp which wasn't doing much. I worked silently and didn't disturb anyone so I wish they could accommodate this easy request

Haeundae, the number one tourist attraction in Korea... It is Haeundae, the sea scenery pension located in the center. - It is located in the hottest place within a 2-minute walk to the beach and a 3-minute walk to Haeundae Subway Station [A nearby tourist attraction] -Haeundae Beach can be moved within 2 minutes on foot -Haeundae Traditional Market (1 minute walk) -Blue Line Park Beach Train, Sky Capsule (15 minutes walk) -Camellia Island Coastal Galmat-gil (15 minutes walk) -Haridan-gil Restaurant (walk 4 minutes) -Haeundae Hot Spring (4 minutes walk) -Club Dioasis Spa (8 minutes walk)

It was so good, close to the beach, convenient transportation, delicious food at the nearby traditional market, etc. Especially the best were the cleaning lady and the counter owner. They were the best, the best, the best.

With a stay at H AVENUE SONGJEONG in Busan (Haeundae), you'll be a 1-minute drive from Songjeong Beach and 6 minutes from Paradise Casino. This hotel is 3.4 mi (5.5 km) from Haeundae Beach and 6.4 mi (10.3 km) from Gwangalli Beach. To-go breakfasts are served on weekends from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM for a fee. Featured amenities include express check-in, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Free self parking is available onsite. Stay in one of 47 guestrooms featuring Smart televisions. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and cable programming is available for your entertainment. Private bathrooms have hair dryers and slippers. Conveniences include blackout drapes/curtains, and housekeeping is provided on request.

It's about a 10-minute walk from Songjeong Station. If you don't have much luggage, it's not a big deal, but the road is bumpy, so it's a pain if you have a large suitcase. The hotel is right in front of the beach, so it has a resort atmosphere. There is a convenience store nearby, but the selection was not that great. Starbucks and other cafes and restaurants are open until late, and are bustling with young people. You can hear singing, maybe a live performance, from the beach. It's a good place to hang out at night, but there are a lot of people there until quite late, and there are cars passing by, so it's noisy. The hotel itself is very clean. The front desk staff were polite and spoke to us in Japanese. The room also seemed well-cleaned. The toilet and shower room are also clean. The shower room has a glass door, which prevents water from getting into the toilet to a certain extent. The only disappointment was that the pillowcase was dirty. Of the four pillows, only one was clean, so that was a relief. There were no problems with water pressure. You can flush toilet paper down the toilet.

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent, just a short walk to the subway station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The room and overall cleanliness were also great. This was a truly memorable experience because I had an urgent situation and needed to cancel my booking, which was initially non-cancellable. However, the staff were incredibly understanding and humanized the situation, eventually agreeing to cancel and refund my money. I was very touched!

GGuest UserThe room was quite clean, though very small. The location is incredibly convenient; you can see the hotel just to the left of Busan Station Exit 1, only about a 100-meter walk. It's also right next to Busan Subway Station Exit 6, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby, which is really handy. The downside is the poor soundproofing; there was intermittent noise from what sounded like a motor, and the toilet flushing was extremely loud.

GGalaxyZView - If you are keen in wharf / harbor view, this hotel (see images) is along the harbour next to wharf, Songdo, so there is no beach on the wharf. At 4am you can hear commotion at the wharf, interesting for a different view from city or sea view. Nearest Songdo beach is still at distance, it is not at door step. Booked a large room for family of 4, comes with 1 Queen bed, 1 single, the last pax ended on the floor with Futons. (Although I indicated i had 4 pax, housekeeper does not seem to be aware, replenishes only for 3 pax?). Small hand towels are issued as bath towel, just be aware. Quite common for smaller hotel accommodation here (inn, AirBnB). Floor heater, water heater works, daily housekeeping. Has bath tub not used at all for winter. Good balcony for sitting in the cold to watch the wharf bustle. Pax using futon had a few bites by bugs, not sure if flew in from outside the room, else the room is clean. Nice open terrace at roof top with telescope to look into Lotte mall at distance, and the open sea after the bridge on the right. Complimentary breakfast offering at basement kitchen is available until 9AM (not 9.30am) - kitchen staff will remind you to finish up at close to 9am, and please clear your dishes at collection area, discard leftovers, return cultery, utensils. Breakfast spread : Cereal with milk (only on weekend), ONE slice of toast with jam, egg/s, one fruit or yoghurt, one coffee/tea, ONE juice, one instant noodles (if you want). Only tried for first morning, other mornings has similar menu on the wall. Staff - looks like husband wife team. Friendly to greet at reception at upper level. Safety wise - As accommodation is located at harbour with large prime movers and containers movements, it is better to travel in groups to look out for each other. I note the drivers are generally careful to look out for pedestrians on the harbour, wharf. Can be a bit dark at night in the surrounding area of the accommodation. Plus point - Double entrance door which allow you to lock inner door in case main door is being accessed externally. Location - About 20mins or so by bus to Busan shopping area where the crowd is. Not too far, The more popular tourist spots, beach sites is further up northeast at Haeundae beach, which is about 1 hour bus ride away. Pricing -, for the pricing, there are better known hotel chains going at more economic rates. So need to do proper research before booking. Else pleasant stay, simple, large room, no fanfare.

ZZoNNeRGreat hotel, highly recommended to stay! Room: small, but that was enough for me, as everything needed was in the room. Room was very tidy, you can request cleaning 1 time every 3 days, but if you want to switch towels, you can just bring them to reception. Besides, even though tooth brush and paste aren’t provided directly, you can request those on the reception as well. You can use washing machine and dryer next to reception if required. Staff: very polite and respectful, perfectly speak English, will try their best to help you with any questions. Breakfast: self-service, you can pick everything you want, and actually everything I tried there was delicious. Location: 2 minutes from Nampo station, that is extremely convenient. A lot of shops and restaurants around, as well as several convenience stores. Just in 10 minutes you can get to Busan tower by foot. At night it’s very quiet.

GGuest UserThe hotel was a bit hard to find since it's tucked away in an alley, but it's really close to the main Haeundae road. It was super convenient for grabbing a meal and then heading straight to Haeundae beach. Being a new building, it was very clean and had a great interior. The only minor issue was a slight new-house smell that made my eyes sting a little, which was a bit unpleasant.

GGuest UserThe hotel was location is an excellent location. Very convenient and nearby to shops and the haeundae beach with mrt less than 7 mins walk which makes it very convenient. I booked a twin room - double and single bed. Room is new, clean and a good size for city. This room does not provide unobstructed Seaview. Whats disappointing: 1. We needed to change cash for laundry which was part of the hotel. The reception say no change. 2. We initially reserve 2 night then extend a further 2 night's. We requested for cleaning on 3rd day. Whilst they replace the towels, wash the cups and provided free bottles of water, - bed not made, - floor not vacumn( hairs visible) and - toilet not cleaned ( hair in the shower cubicle)

GGuest UserI recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel Elephant in Busan, and overall, it was a memorable experience. Located conveniently within the city, the hotel serves as a great base for travelers looking to explore Busan’s vibrant neighborhoods, beaches, and culinary spots. From check-in to check-out, my stay was smooth, and I found the hotel to be a solid mix of comfort, cleanliness, and character. Check-in & First Impressions: Upon arrival, I was greeted by courteous front desk staff who spoke basic English and were very accommodating. The check-in process was fast and efficient, with minimal hassle. The lobby itself was tastefully decorated—nothing extravagant, but definitely welcoming. It had a quirky charm that felt a bit more boutique than your average budget hotel. Room: I stayed in a standard double room, which was surprisingly spacious. The decor was modern and minimalist, with a few unique touches that gave it personality. The bed was large and comfortable, with clean, crisp linens. I appreciated the small details like a well-lit vanity area, USB charging ports, and a mini-fridge. The room also had good soundproofing, which meant I could rest peacefully even though the hotel is near a busy area. The bathroom was spotless, equipped with a full set of toiletries, and had a surprisingly luxurious rainfall shower. Water pressure was excellent, and hot water was consistent throughout my stay. Some rooms also offer jacuzzis or bathtubs, depending on the tier you book, which I thought was a great value. Amenities & Services: While Hotel Elephant isn’t a full-service luxury property, it offers everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. There’s a vending machine area, complimentary bottled water, and in-room amenities like a kettle, coffee, and tea. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, even during peak hours. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or gym, but there are plenty of cafes and convenience stores nearby to make up for it. Housekeeping was thorough and respectful. My room was cleaned daily, and towels and toiletries were replenished without needing to request anything. Location: This is arguably one of the hotel’s strongest points. It’s just a short walk from a nearby subway station, which made commuting to places like Haeundae Beach, Jagalchi Market, and Gwangalli very easy. There are also tons of restaurants, bars, and local shops within walking distance. Whether you’re into street food or want to try Busan’s famous seafood, you’ll find great options nearby. If you’re into nightlife, there’s also plenty happening in the area, but thankfully, the hotel itself remains peaceful at night. Staff & Hospitality: Every staff member I interacted with was polite and eager to help. While not everyone was fluent in English, they made an effort to assist with directions, transportation tips, and even helping me book a cab using local apps. Their hospitality made the stay feel much warmer and more personal than I expected. Overall Impression: Hotel Elephant may not be a five-star hotel, but it delivers more than what you’d expect from its price point. It’s clean, cozy, and well-located—perfect for solo travelers, couples, or even friends on a budget-friendly getaway. If you’re visiting Busan and want a reliable place to stay that offers good value without compromising on comfort, this hotel is a solid pick. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Busan.

GGuest UserThe location is great—right in front of BIFF Street. The room is spacious enough to comfortably open two large suitcases. One of the best features is the separate toilet and shower area, which is quite rare in Korea. Essentials like shampoo, a hair dryer, and other toiletries are provided. They also have a handy machine that removes dust and dries your clothes—perfect if you don’t want to do a full wash but still want your clothes fresh and clean. The only minor downside is the uphill slope leading to the hotel, but it shouldn’t be a problem for most people with luggage.
