"Situated on the edge of a touristy district, but near areas that felt more authentic and lived in by locals. They were very nice at the desk. We were happy the room had a fridge and coffee machine. The design and colors were pleasing and the bed was comfortable. I would stay here again with my husband, but opt for a larger room next time. The room was cramped. Coat hooks near the door would have been useful."

"The apartment was lovely and clean. Perfect location and very comfortable. A friend and I stayed at the guest house for 2 nights and 3 days. On arrival we were given an address that was different to a check in area. The walk was not far, however we were unable to check in as it was after hours for reception. Our driver then called and talked to the reception and managed to help us get a key for the guest room. The next morning we walked over to the reception area to complete our check. The lady at the front desk was not very approachable as we did not feel comfortable asking for information as it seemed like she just wanted to get our check in over and done with. We were told that maps and information about the city was prepared for us however we did not receive them from the front desk and managed to walk around and find our own way with tours and visiting sites. Other than the uncomfortable check in process the stay was very comfortable."

"Location was great but it’s an uphill walk to visit many of the attractions of Porto but there is public transportation although we opted to walk instead. It is close to the Douro River and a close walk over to Gaia via the bridge. The hotel is modern with an elevator comfortable furniture but there is limited surface area in the bathroom or bedroom (like a nightstand or desk) to store and use personal items like shaving kit or makeup. Bathroom is up a set of stairs not great for older travelers. Loved the security of the hotel and employees were very helpful. Close to many shops and restaurants. Safe to walk during the day and evening. We ate breakfast at the hotel a couple of the days we were there and it’s convenient but pricey at 18 euros a person."
