"New and fresh hotel. Missed the opportunity for the delicious Scandic breakfast but that will surely be resolved when the restaurant opens wall-to-wall in June. The TV in the room could not be watched as the technology was with us, unfortunately. Otherwise we are super satisfied and we will be happy to book this hotel again."
"It’s a nice place to stay with an interesting concept of prefab buildings. The area is right at the dock with a lot of history. The staff was kind and helpful."
"The hostel is very clean and tidy. The guy who was responsible for the cleaning is always there. Some garbage was blown into the room from outside the window and the worker help us clean it. He also helped me using the equipment in the kitchen. Everyone there are very helpful. It is not near the central. But I can accept the walking distance from the tram station to the hostel. There is also a supermarket next to the hostel. It is convenient to buy food and drink if you need."
"Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central just exceeded my expectations! From the perfect location to the spotless cleanliness, excellent service, and thoughtful amenities — I couldn’t rate it less than 5. Everything was so well maintained. The room was modern, comfortable, and quiet, with a beautiful view. Breakfast had a great variety, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. It’s one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gothenburg."
"Room was exactly as pictured and bed was very comfortable.
However, the bathroom (en-suite) was not clean which was disappointing. I had to clean the sink and toilet and even then some of the hairs and bits of dirt were still there.
It was also quite hard to find, especially at night due to it being in an industrial estate. A positive is that you are close to the river/ bridge (nice views) and the shopping centre as they’re all within 20 minutes walking distance."
"It was a great hotel. Unfortunately the ferry doesn't work. Doesn't run on the weekends so we use public transport by the bus. Overall good. Stay in Gothenburg and we'll definitely be returning. The image is from The view outside my window. Additionally, the breakfast was fantastic with multiple different choices to include fruits, pancakes, three types of eggs, variety of different breads, etc."
"My recent stay at the Scandic Göteborg Central was a truly positive experience, largely thanks to its fantastic location and the excellent service provided. Being just a short, pleasant 10-minute walk from the central station was incredibly convenient. This made arriving and departing effortless, and exploring the city using public transport was a breeze. The service I encountered throughout the hotel was consistently great. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, and any queries I had were addressed promptly and with genuine care. One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the breakfast. The spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of options to suit all tastes. From fresh pastries and bread to a selection of hot dishes, cereals, fruits, and yogurts, there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was also noteworthy, making for a delightful start to each day. Overall, the Scandic Göteborg Central offered a comfortable and convenient base for my time in Gothenburg. Its perfect location near the central station, coupled with the great service and delicious breakfast, made for a memorable and enjoyable stay. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the city."
"Nice room with very comfortable beds. Very good breakfast and good service especially from Anton at the reception. We received extra attention because of our 40th wedding anniversary celebration. What we did react to, however, was their pride flags at the reception which were not welcoming. It is not about the value of all people but about the fact that not everyone shares their extreme sexual political agenda. It could have been national flags instead or the hotel's flag."
"Lovely room with river view. Delicious breakfast All excellant just a shame hot water was working on day 2"

Amazing
KKlongpetchNavigating Liseberg with our energetic little ones was a whirlwind of joy and the hotel was the secret weapon for making it truly seamless. Imagine a sanctuary literally steps from the park gates! This prime location meant we could easily whisk our pint-sized explorers back for a crucial mid-day recharge. Those fantastic kid-focused facilities were a lifesaver – perfect for a quiet break, a quick nap or just decompressing before diving back into the fun. And the perks didn't stop there: we absolutely loved the vibrant on-site theater, the cozy café perfect for a sweet treat and a breakfast spread that perfectly fueled our daily escapades.
GGuest UserOverall, very pleased with the services provided by the wonderful set of crew from front desk to housekeeping and restaurant service crew. Good breakfast and gym. However as there are construction around the hotel vicinity, the room and common area are a bit dusty. One more important note as due to global warming, the rooms are a bit stuffy and poorly ventilated during summer. Windows cannot be opened. It would be nice that the aircon mode is in service during this period
GGuest UserThe Hotel location is very good. Walkable to almost all of attractions. The hotel staffs are helpful. The room is spacious enough with the needed amenities. The atmosphere of the bar on the lobby floor is nice.
GGuest UserAmazing location and such a nice room! Mesmerised by the lavish set up, every corner was insta-ready. The breakfast location was even more beautiful and spread was superb too! Definitely staying here again when I’m back in Gothenburg!
AAnonymous UserI arrived around 9 pm and it was already dark. Still, the surroundings near the central station felt safe because there were plenty of people around. It was about an 8-minute walk, though Google Maps sent me on a longer route when I could have just taken a shortcut near the train tracks. The reception was lovely. I even asked for some ice cubes since it was quite humid that day and normal temperature water wasn’t enough to cool me down. The room itself was nice, just right for one person. As it was parallel to the train tracks, you could hear them passing, but only faintly. I was so tired that I slept really well. I didn’t order breakfast so I can’t comment on that. I checked out at 12 pm, and they provided luggage storage free of charge, which was definitely a plus. I came back for my luggage at 6 pm with no issues.
GGuest UserOne of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for a while, especially for the price which is excellent value for a hotel in the heart of the city. Very close to the airport bus (100m) and walking distance to everywhere downtown. The staff were all smiling and very helpful, and special mention to the excellent buffet breakfast. The room was a very good size, as was the bathroom. Fairly fast wifi, and loved the unusual set of dumbells in every room for a quick workout!! Will definitely stay here again, and highly recommend.
GGuest UserRadisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel Gothenburg is a solid choice thanks to its excellent central location next to the main station. Rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is a real highlight with plenty of options. Service is generally friendly and professional, though a few details can feel a bit dated. Overall, a reliable and convenient hotel for both business and leisure stays.
PPatrickEOverall, this hotel was a superb experience. We arrived around 18.00 in the evening after a long drive. Unfortunately some technical error in their system required us to wait in the lobby for about 30min, but we were swiftly compensated in the form of free parking and a complimentary prosecco in the room. The room itself was beautiful. Amazing view, very comfortable bed and TV placement, a very long bathtub. The only mild annoyance was that the bathroom light was finicky to turn on and adjust. The spa is a must-experience, especially after a long drive from one side of Sweden to the other. It was excellent; nothing to complain about. The best thing about Upper House however, is the breakfast. I have never had a better breakfast experience anywhere else in the world. I would gladly stay again just to eat their breakfast menu. Very excellent stay, great service and great food. A solid 9.5/10 experience.
AAnonymous UserBreakfast: buffet style, good. Wish there were more kinds of fruit available. Room: size is ok for 1 person, the bed is quite big. Hair dryer, hangers provided. No kettles can be borrowed and you can only get hot water at the front desk. Staff: i arrived a bit early but the staff let me check in early. nice and helpful Others: there’s a gym, sauna, outdoor jacuzzi too. Close to a bus stop.
