"New and fresh hotel. Missed the opportunity for the delicious Scandic breakfast but that will surely be resolved when the restaurant opens wall-to-wall in June. "Overall, this hotel was a superb experience. We arrived around 18.00 in the evening after a long drive. Unfortunately some technical error in their system required us to wait in the lobby for about 30min, but we were swiftly compensated in the form of free parking and a complimentary prosecco in the room. The room itself was beautiful. Amazing view, very comfortable bed and TV placement, a very long bathtub. The only mild annoyance was that the bathroom light was finicky to turn on and adjust. The spa is a must-experience, especially after a long drive from one side of Sweden to the other. It was excellent; nothing to complain about. The best thing about Upper House however, is the breakfast. I have never had a better breakfast experience anywhere else in the world. I would gladly stay again just to eat their breakfast menu. Very excellent stay, great service and great food. A solid 9.5/10 experience."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Lorensberg in Gothenburg. The location is excellent—central, quiet, and within easy walking distance of Avenyn, shops, and public transport. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel has a charming, classic feel. Breakfast was good with a nice variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it’s great value for money and an ideal base for exploring the city."

"The rooms were small but well-equipped! The kettle was very clean. The bathroom was refreshing and lovely, and the toiletries were all from Bulgari. The lobby and restaurant were decorated in a luxurious retro style. The hotel's rooftop restaurant was perfect for afternoon tea and cocktails 🍹, and the breakfast was exquisite and delicious. The dinner restaurant was a Michelin one-star restaurant, but after eating there twice, I felt it was somewhat average. It's similar to the local Aegean Hotel. Overall, it could be considered the best in Gothenburg, Sweden."
