Everything was good. The room with the private pool, the breakfast, the friendliness and thevgreat service from the staff. The buggy service to the main road was very convenient to access to restaurants and shops.

This is a great new hotel. There are definitely some improvements still being made, but that didn't bother us at all. The staff is wonderful, they help with everything you need, and the pools are clean and large. Breakfast is very good. And the restaurant in the evening is also excellent. The food is delicious. This hotel is more than just walls; it has a soul from all the staff. I wish you prosperity❤️

Excellent and enjoyable stay, the resort is very near to the beach and provides easy access to surf classes at Better Surf Thailand. Breakfast selection was great too, no complains about the food. lovely stay, will definitely come back again!

Our room was spacious, beautifully designed with local accents, and opened directly onto the lagoon pool—yes, the 2.5 km-long pool that winds through the entire resort like a lazy river. Waking up and diving straight into the water was a dream. The staff were exceptional—always smiling, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our stay memorable. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant teams, everyone made us feel like VIPs. Dining was a highlight. From the beachfront seafood BBQ at The Waterfront to the authentic Thai flavors at Ta-Krai, every meal was a delight. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and ambiance made it worthwhile. We also loved the little touches: the JW Garden where herbs are grown for the kitchen, the serene Quan Spa, and the family-friendly amenities like the kids’ pool and activities. Evenings were magical, with golden sunsets and live music by the beach. If you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape with world-class service and a touch of Thai soul, JW Marriott Khao Lak is a top-tier choice. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and already planning our return.

Would highly recommend this hotel. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Little touches like a fitness room were great. Eco friendly toiletries and towels weren’t changed every day. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel itself was good - well situated on the beach, calm, but not to far from everything. The staff was very kind and helpful. The have a restaurant and beach beds in the beach.

Daily housekeeping ensures impeccable cleanliness. The charming bridges connecting different parts of the property add a special touch. Walking across them feels like being in untouched jungles. The beach is well-equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas, and there’s a cozy beachside café nearby where you can have lunch or dinner while enjoying the sea view. The resort’s territory is full of life: you’ll see many butterflies and even friendly monitor lizards wandering around, adding to the tropical paradise vibe. Cons: Breakfasts could be more varied, especially in terms of fresh pastries. Good to know: The nearest 7/11 or town café is about a 15-minute walk away (there’s a sidewalk). If you prefer not to walk, a taxi costs 100 baht. The closest self-service laundry is a 15-minute drive away (400 baht).
