We had a great stay at Le Hua Hotel in Phuket. The location is excellent — walking distance to restaurants, convenience stores, ATMs, and the famous Phuket Sunday Walking Street. The hotel is also very close to the European-style buildings and tourist attractions around Old Phuket Town, which we really enjoyed exploring. The hotel is well maintained, from the lobby to the hallways and rooms. Housekeeping cleans daily and provides complimentary 2 bottles of water, coffee, and tea every day, along with fresh towels. The fridge is big enough to stock groceries, and there’s a microwave and free hot water near the elevator (plus a water boiler in the room). Shower water pressure was strong with hot and cold options. It’s easy to book Grab or Bolt to Patong Beach (around 450–650 baht each way). Our room also had a small balcony where smoking is allowed. Room for improvement: the bed was quite firm, and the air conditioning was cold but noticeably loud. Overall, still a comfortable and convenient stay. (Photos are not of the room or hotel since I forgot to take picture of the room itself)

The hotel reception has a tall, medium-built, slightly dark-skinned female staff member who speaks excellent Chinese and is very charming. Her service is exceptional; she understood all my requests and helped me resolve them. For this price, in my home country, I'd barely get a budget hotel, and not even a well-located one at that. But here, I got a large room with excellent service. I highly, highly recommend it! Everything was perfect except that the AC wasn't turned on before I checked in. Also, right across from the hotel entrance, after exiting the parking lot, is Central, so there's no need to walk around.

Review of Boutique Guesthouse 99 Oldtown, Phuket Boutique Guesthouse 99 Oldtown is a fantastic choice for travelers looking for affordable yet stylish accommodation in the heart of Phuket Old Town. The location is perfect - close to charming cafes, vibrant street art, and night markets, making it ideal for exploring the area. The cleanliness of the property is impeccable, and the rooms offer amazing accommodation conditions with cozy, well-designed interiors. Considering the low price, it’s an incredible value for money. One small downside is the 500 THB deposit required at check-in, which is refundable but worth noting. Additionally, the soundproofing could be better, as noise from the hallway or nearby rooms can sometimes be heard. Despite these minor points, my stay was a great experience overall. If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly stay in Phuket Old Town, this guesthouse is a wonderful option!

It was my first time staying here, and I truly had my fingers crossed when I made the booking. However, in reality, everything about this hotel exceeded expectations—absolutely incredible. The property is exceptionally beautiful, with a carefully preserved vintage style that shows deep respect for its heritage and history. All staff members were warm, welcoming, and highly professional. Their hospitality was outstanding, and the level of service was excellent. There is honestly nothing to fault in terms of accommodation or overall experience. The only exception was Café Mem. Service from the barista was extremely slow, and the coffee tasted noticeably sour. While the butter croissant was excellent, the jam was disappointing, and the prices felt slightly on the high side. Despite this minor issue, I would definitely return without hesitation.

Genuinely the best hotel I have stayed at; solely for the service and kindness. I left my purse with 1000 baht, credit card and a debit card in it. They were kind enough to help and get it delivered to my next hotel through Grab. The pool is well maintained and beautiful, a bit small but it only adds to the charm. Everything is new and carefully maintained. They serve breakfast till 12PM. It’s modest but adds to the communal experience. The location is only a few minutes walk away from all the old town attractions. It’s conveniently located next to a 7-eleven and a mall with a foodcourt. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. You can book this hotel without any worries.

The location is excellent, right on the periphery of Phuket Old Town's city walk area, so you don't have to worry about being disturbed by crowds of tourists. It's quiet and comfortable. Famous attractions are just a 4-15 minute walk away, and there are plenty of massage parlors, 7-Elevens, restaurants, cafes, and bars nearby. It's also a 12-minute walk from the airport bus stop and the old bus terminal (Phuket Bus Terminal 1). Since I was coming from another location, I asked the driver to drop me off at the nearest intersection, and I reached the hotel in just 8 minutes. The hotel is an old-style building, with abandoned houses nearby, and the main entrance isn't on the main street. However, you can easily find it by following navigation (whether Google Maps or Amap). There's a large parking lot outside. The ground floor of the hotel also operates as a cafe, offering brunch, cakes, coffee, and more. There's no elevator, but the friendly front desk staff (male or female) will help you with your luggage during check-in or check-out. They are always smiling and eager to assist. On the second floor, there's a hidden corner offering biscuits and tea for a relaxing break. The room has an IKEA-style decor, compact yet cozy. It provides two bottles of mineral water, a kettle, a hairdryer, and a dedicated clothes rack. The window can be opened, so it doesn't feel stuffy. It faces an inner street with very few vehicles (unless they're parking), so it's not noisy.

Overall it’s ok. My room was on the ground floor hence the inconvenience as I have to close my curtains throughout. Room wasn’t very clean, there are stains and dust. Location is great. Walkable distance to Chilva Night Market and there’s free parking, The pool is very nice but the sunbeds are always taken unless you go very early in the morning. AAnonymous UserThe resort isn't very big, a rectangular area, and the villa section takes up a significant portion, so there's limited space for activities. BUT! There's a beautiful, uncrowded beach, haha! The coastline is very long, which is a huge plus. The rooms seem to have been renovated; they're a mix of new and old. For instance, some of the bathroom fixtures are clearly old, but the doors, windows, and furniture look new. At the very least, the grout and wall seams have been redone and look pristine. The air conditioning is incredibly efficient, and the room is well-insulated – even after being out with the power off for half the day, it's still chilly when you come back in. The room provides a clothes drying rack on the balcony for dripping wet clothes and swimsuits, which is a thoughtful touch. However, the BBQ buffet dinner, which costs over 2000 THB per person, doesn't include any basic beverages, only water. The BBQ items are so few you can count them on one finger, non-BBQ items on another finger, and desserts/fruits on a third finger. There were only two or three seafood options. My child is sensitive, so after removing what they couldn't eat, spicy dishes, and disliked flavors, there was almost nothing left! Can you believe we couldn't find two dishes they'd dare to eat from the entire buffet? The breakfast selection is much richer than the dinner buffet, and it's only a quarter of the price... but the dishes were exactly the same every day. After two days, we started missing 7-Eleven. This isn't some isolated island with supply difficulties; would it be so hard to come up with more rotating menus? Please offer more variety for guests staying multiple nights.

EES SoHad a great time while staying at Noku, super b Villa Mint is big and comfortable to stay with friends and family. It even includes snack, fruit and drinks in villa which are complimentary for us to enjoy when we stay by the private pool. Very enjoyable and pleasant! The breakfast at the hotel is a highlight during our stay. It was served in buffet style with egg and noodles station. Although the selection is not super wide, it’s more than enough to enjoy as the quality and the freshness of the food are above average, some of them even exceeded our expectations. Overall, we enjoyed the moment at the hotel so much and we will definitely coming back for vacation again ❤️

GGuest UserWe loved the overall experience as a family of four. It was only a short boat ride from Phuket. Although the beach was small, there was a private pool in our villa which we loved. We swam in the private pool when it was sunset. It was so pretty. The majority of the staff was also incredibly friendly, with almost every service available 24/7. Impressed by the friendliness of the staff at Naka Island Hotel. None of them went past us without smiling and greeting us, and almost everyone we met was ready to engage in little conversation to help us settle into the environment. It was so chilled all around, the surroundings and the accommodation, our nerves were rested for a good few days. Beautiful local excursions also available. We went on a little hike to Tad zoo beach which proved to be a little of an adventure because of the 30-min arduous walk for the kids. Once there, not only did we enjoy the beach chilled atmosphere, we got on jet skis with some discounts to the hotel prices too. Upon return to hotel, we jumped into the private pool overlooking the beach at sunset. An amazing experience hard to forget. Breakfast was exquisite. It had the blend of modern western food and local Thai food. The noodles were delicious, broth was excellent. Got a shoulder and back massage free of charge at the entrance to the veranda restaurant (breakfast restaurant) - knowing how much it would cost, it made my day. Would recommend the Muay Thai to anyone seeking a workout with a touch of Thai culture. The instructor was friendly and funny. He identified my daughter’s talent in the sport. When we go back to HK, I will have another perspective to work on.

LLynnOhThe resort is conveniently located close to Patong Beach. One thing that impressed us most was the strong focus on security. All incoming vehicles are scanned by security guards, and there are also two guards stationed to stop traffic and assist guests crossing the road between the hotel and Patong Beach. This shows that security is taken seriously at the resort. During our 4-night stay, we noticed that the breakfast menu was largely the same every day, which became repetitive after a few days. The staff also cleared plates very quickly once you finished eating. It felt a bit rushed at times, but we noticed this seemed to be a common practice at many restaurants in Phuket, so it may be part of the local dining culture. The staff were polite throughout our stay. Housekeeping was excellent and generous in replenishing supplies. We also appreciated the welcome drink upon arrival and the lounge area with snacks available while waiting for our room to be ready. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, with good service, strong security measures, and a convenient location near Patong Beach.

SShishinonoOur stay at Cassia Phuket was absolutely amazing! We stayed in the Loft Room, and the view of the lagoon and the beach from our room was simply breathtaking — it felt like waking up in a postcard every morning. The hotel’s location is perfect, with direct access to both the lagoon and the beach. One of our favorite parts was the complimentary ferry that takes guests across the lagoon to the beach every 20 minutes — such a fun and convenient touch that made getting around effortless. The atmosphere at Cassia is vibrant and welcoming, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to help. The modern design of the rooms, the lively community spaces, and the stunning natural surroundings made our stay unforgettable not to forget mentioning pet friendly hotel. Cassia Phuket truly captures the best of relaxation, style, and island charm!

IIvan KraljEven if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature). While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order. But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny. Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.” After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime. This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol. I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high? In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out. I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average. P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

Hhellenxiao831Reading other reviews made me a bit nervous at first, but after checking in, I found it to be absolutely wonderful. The hotel was very clean, and the Thai-style gardens and pool were fantastic. Plus, the hotel is right on the beach – just a short walk from our room, which was incredibly convenient. My child loved it so much they didn't want to leave! The only downside is that there's nothing much outside the hotel; it's a bit isolated. So, if you're looking for a relaxing hotel stay with family fun, this place is perfect. There are a few restaurants by the sea, and the prices are quite reasonable. It's really great! I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

KKLorraineOverall, it was a very good stay. Orn was nice and accommodating and even helped move me to a higher floor the next day. Berna from the restaurant was also friendly and took the time to chat, which was really nice. The room was refreshed while I was out during the day, which was great, but it would’ve been helpful to be informed beforehand since my personal belongings were left around. Just a small note — the bathrobe wasn’t set up initially, and only two pillows were provided for a room meant for two guests, so I had to request extra pillows.

XXiaolian2019We actually stayed here for five consecutive days! It was a very pleasant stay, and I really wanted to write more! The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hygiene was excellent. The owner is Chinese and has been consistently upgrading the linens. The service was attentive; one night, our Indian neighbors were on a loud call at 2:30 AM, and the owner, contacted via WeChat, promptly resolved the issue! The guesthouse environment is very comfortable, with squirrels, cats 🐱, and other small animals! The sea is right outside the door, as is a local night market! The food stalls at the entrance are also affordable and delicious 😋! I loved it! And for only two to three hundred during peak season, the price is unbeatable!!

KKelly8692Pros - it is quite near to Phuket International Airport - around 30-35mins. The Resort is very big, near to the sea and provides free shuttle to Kata & Karon Beach and free Kayaking to the guests. We had the sea view room and the view everyday was great. The location is very far from central/downtown which is why it is very peaceful to stay here. The rooms are slightly outdated, but they are kept very clean so the outdated part doesn't feel much. The staff is also very kind and helpful. Overall its a nice resort to stay for a short while as it is quite far. Cons - For the 4days we stayed there, we did not like the breakfast as much. The breakfast area and view was very good, but every time we went for breakfast - it was always served cold. No matter we went early or late for breakfast, the food was always cold. There is a lot of variety in breakfast but none of them tasted good because it was always cold or not warm enough. The resort is really very far - around 1hrs 20min from the main tourist areas like Kata, Patong and Karon beach, so if you are planning to travel to these places - plan accordingly. As it is expensive and far to travel back to the resort. Also since it is far - there is no market or small shops nearby the hotel that you can walk up to in the evening. The only choice is to stay at the resort, swimming pool or inside the resort because the road that drives up to the resort is quite steep to walk. Overall it was a comfortable stay but it was a bit of hassle with the breakfast and travel back to the resort. This is why I am giving 4stars.
