"I needed a place to stay while working at the Disaster Assistance Center for wildfire survivors and this place was the closest and served the purpose. It was neat and clean, and the staff was friendly and professional. Ben, the manager, was helpful and knowledgeable about the area. No breakfast places nearby and ciffee is about .6 miles north, the Italian place on Pico was excellent and I had a cheeseburger and fries at The Apple Pan that was great. I'll stay again."

"I recently stayed at Hotel Angeleno and was pleasantly surprised by the value it offers. The room was clean and comfortable—on the smaller side, but perfectly fine considering the great price. The location right off the freeway is very convenient for getting around Los Angeles, though you can definitely hear freeway noise. If you’re sensitive to sound, I recommend requesting a room on the quieter side of the building. One of the highlights of the stay was the top-floor restaurant, which has an amazing panoramic view of the city. We enjoyed dinner there because there aren’t any shops or restaurants immediately around the hotel, and the atmosphere and food made it absolutely worth it. Breakfast was also a nice perk—it’s included, with just a $5 service fee. They even offer free wine during happy hour, which was a pleasant bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel also provides complimentary round-trip Uber rides to nearby spots, which made exploring the area much easier. The only major downside for me was the valet parking. At $40 a day, it felt pricey, and it wasn’t very convenient when we needed to grab something from the car or wait for the car to be brought around. Overall, Hotel Angeleno is a great place to stay if you want good value, friendly service, and excellent views. Despite a few inconveniences, I would definitely come back."

"Advantages: The room is quite large, with a kitchen, a living room, and a washing machine and dryer, which feels a bit like a homestay. The hotel has a small courtyard with a bit of refinement, and the decoration of the lobby on the first floor is not bad, you need to swipe your room card to get in and out. The underground parking garage has 3 floors, and there are plenty of parking spaces. You can enter and exit directly by swiping the room card. If you drive first and then check in, you need to call for assistance. Overall hotel quality is online. There is Denny's opposite for breakfast, and a Chinese restaurant opens at noon. CVS supermarket is about 7 minutes walk. Very close to UCLA. Cons: We stayed 2 nights and the room was not cleaned. Footsteps could be heard upstairs."
