"The hotel, which I chose randomly, was a pleasant surprise beyond my expectations. It was truly ”small but exquisite.” Although I booked a basic room, it wasn't large, but it was very comfortable. The towel rack was heated, and there was air conditioning, which was another unexpected bonus."

"The hotel offers a Bentley transfer service for £15, but you need to book it 4 days in advance. The exterior surroundings are beautiful and private, located on a gated hillside. The room facilities are a bit old, but choosing a room with a hot tub is definitely the way to go. Breakfast is decent."

"The hotel was rebuilt by the owner's parents. It is very warm and the reconstruction is very reasonable. The room is too small and the family seems particularly crowded. The surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, but there are many check-in requirements, there is no elevator, and it takes a lot of effort to carry large luggage to the third floor."

"The scenery is very good! ! The picturesque scenery, as mentioned in many reviews, the hotel itself is a scene. The traditional English manor style, blooming gardens, and tranquil lakeside all make people linger. During this trip to the Lake District, I went to the town center and ambleside. It is not an exaggeration to say that I personally feel that only by staying at the Langdale Chase Hotel can we truly appreciate the beauty of the Lake District. The attitude of the staff is also relatively good. The hotel is about 5 kilometers from the railway station and a taxi is 10 pounds; it is about 2 kilometers from the ambleside pier. You can also take a bus to these two towns, but the bus stop is five to six hundred meters away from the hotel, which is not particularly recommended. If you are not driving by yourself, it is better to take a taxi. If you are taking a taxi, it is best to call the front desk. It usually takes ten minutes. If you are in a hurry, it is best to advance. The toilet facilities are slightly outdated, but there is no major impact. The lake view room I stayed this time was quite spacious with a balcony. Overall, very satisfied!"

"The feeling of an English country villa is very cozy. When traveling with a family, we thought that three people would squeeze into one bed, but when we came back, we found that the service staff had put up a folding bed. The service staff was very nice. If there was no service staff after 7pm, you could call if you needed anything, and enter and exit the hotel by yourself with the key. The restaurant is warm and clean, the service is good, and the dishes are also rich. It has its own independent parking lot. I will recommend it to my friends."

"Although the location of the hotel is not close to the lake, it is between the town of Windermere and Bowness. It is basically a 10-15 minute walk to the lake to take a boat. The World of Peter Rabbit is the closest. The room is large and clean, and the bathroom is the largest among the hotels booked in the seven cities on this trip to the UK. The room is very warmly decorated, the cabinets are very large, and there are many hangers suitable for storing a lot of clothes. The boss's father is from Hong Kong. He chats with us every morning and recommends our travel routes. He is very enthusiastic. The breakfast is also very rich, and the price is very reasonable during the peak summer season."

"Although the room is not big, it is ok for three people to live. It is a little time to wash. Family hotel. The service is great. The breakfast is cooked by the store couple. It is divided into cold meals and hot meals. Cold meals do not need to be paid extra. Hot food needs to be extra money. Easy access to the lake area and commercial street"

"The environment was exceptionally beautiful, showing the owner has excellent taste, especially considering they booked a room with a view. However, the bathroom layout was inconvenient; there wasn't enough space for my makeup bag and other belongings, and the toilet and sink were right next to each other in my room, making it quite cramped.
The male owner was very welcoming, while the female owner was rather aloof. Overall, they were quite friendly, but there were minor issues during my two-day stay regarding the heating, windows, exhaust fan, and bathtub. The issues weren't serious, but it was frustrating that I couldn't reach them for several hours via Ctrip or the phone and email they provided.
The breakfast was good, but nowhere near as good as the breakfast at the previous hotel, J…
The price was relatively high when I booked, but it dropped significantly two weeks later, probably due to the off-season. This is just for your reference."

"8 minutes walk from Windermere Railway Station, there is a bus stop at the door. The hotel is like a castle, the room is classically decorated, the garden is small but well-cared, and it is very beautiful from the living room or restaurant. The bedding is very comfortable and the bathroom is slightly smaller. Breakfast can be selected and tastes very good. All were friendly. Had a wonderful two days in the Lake District."
