Guest UserAs our journey around Gannan drew to a close in Xiahe, I found myself only concerned with cleanliness when choosing accommodations, which rarely met my expectations. However, this guesthouse, which I hadn't held out much hope for, exceeded my expectations in every way. It was spotless, the kettle looked brand new, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the room was completely odor-free. The service was also outstanding; they proactively upgraded our room, helped with our luggage, and even offered extra bottled water when they learned we were dining in the room. It was excellent value for money, and I will definitely choose this guesthouse again next time I visit Xiahe.

Every detail here absolutely radiates authentic ******* charm! From the intricately painted beams and columns to the hand-woven yak wool blankets, from the exquisite copper butter lamps to the vibrant Thangka murals, this guesthouse seamlessly blends traditional ******* aesthetics into every nook and cranny. The owner truly treats guests like family, greeting us with a ceremonial white Hada the moment we arrived. Each evening, they thoughtfully brought warm butter tea to our room and shared local legends, speaking in earnest, albeit broken, Chinese. What truly stayed with me was opening my window in the crisp morning to see prayer flags fluttering against the majestic backdrop of snow-capped mountains, with the gentle chime of yak bells carried on the breeze. It felt as if the entire plateau was whispering a welcome. This is more than just a place to stay; it's an immersive dive into ******* culture. My soul felt utterly filled with purity and warmth. If you're looking to experience the most authentic Tibet, look no further than this guesthouse!

It was really nice. The room was large and clean. There were grasslands all around the window. It was a great view to be able to enjoy from the bed. There were so many wildflowers on the grassland. The owner was very humorous and enthusiastic. And most importantly!! The food was delicious. Everything was tasty. Don't worry. The seven of us ate two meals together and ordered a lot. Not a single one was disappointing.

ChengdudingdingMy trip to Gannan ended, and I've been home for two days now. I have to add this belated review today.
Location and Natural Beauty
The hotel is nestled on the edge of the Sangke Grassland, offering vast grassland scenery as soon as you step out the door. On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip.
Service is in the Details
What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of ”hotel service.”
Summary
This isn't just a hotel offering accommodations; it's a warm, grassland inn. If you're looking for a place on the Sangke Grasslands where you can experience local hospitality, this is definitely worth choosing. The owner's sincerity and the beautiful grassland scenery will be the most unforgettable moments of your trip.

MaopaixiaolatiaoWe checked in quite late last night, and our housekeeper, Xiaoji, contacted us ahead of time with all the necessary information and waited for us. We were so touched! The floor heating in the room was already on, making it very warm and comfortable. We woke up to a shroud of mist, and even saw hares and marmots. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, very rich, delicious, and the coffee was excellent. As we sat by the fireplace, sipping coffee and enjoying breakfast, the hotel manager was always attentive and helpful, even introducing us to nearby attractions. I hear the weather is most beautiful in July and August, so I'd definitely stay a couple more days next time.

We encountered a stormy night, and staying in the stargazing room was a fantastic experience! However, the shared bathroom we booked this time wasn't very convenient, so I would recommend booking a room with a private bathroom.

During the Gannan parent-child tour during May 1st, I chose this homestay. The owner is a kind and friendly Tibetan family. It is said that the homestay has just been renovated and we are fortunate to be the first guest family to experience it.
Location: In a small alley in the center of Labrang Town, there is a parking space at the door. The alley is the main road in the town, with a rich commercial body. The homeowner's family lives next door and it is very convenient to communicate.
Facilities: The fixed edge suite has floor heating in the whole house, and there is no temperature concern during the May Day holiday. The bathroom is equipped with an electric water heater, and the water volume is a little smaller, but it is enough to meet the needs of washing. The rest of the supporting facilities are basically available, such as electric kettle, hair dryer, tea set, etc.
Hygienic: The overall sanitary conditions are good, disposable towels are provided, and there is no obvious dust in the room.
Service: A very enthusiastic family, take the initiative to help carry luggage after arriving, and there is a ceremony to offer Hada at the door, making people feel at home. The store also took the initiative to take us to make Tibetan snacks. During the period, the demand for facilities was responded promptly. The next day's breakfast had their own porridge, steamed buns, eggs and side dishes. When I parted, the whole family went out to see me off, which made people feel very warm.

Anonymous UserThe service was so warm. They even presented us with Hada after we arrived. We were the only family staying in the hotel during the off-season in winter, but the service was not slack at all. The boss turned on the heating in our room in advance and prepared fresh yak yogurt, snacks and many other things. He really cared about us. I originally wanted to eat in the county town, but I ate directly in the hotel, which was also very good.
The whole manor is very large. It is recommended that everyone stay here during the peak season. We will come again.

Guest UserWhen booking the hotel, I specifically checked other guests' reviews. It still exceeded my expectations. The guesthouse isn't located on the main street, but in an alley, near the Wuzelinka ******* Restaurant. We arrived at the guesthouse on the evening of the 2nd, and it was snowing that night. The owners and their family came out to pick us up—they were incredibly friendly! The two-story rooms were both very clean. Our electric blanket broke, and they bought us a new one the next day. They also always let us know before we went out or when we returned. Breakfast was home-style, with millet porridge, white eggs, etc. On my second day, I caught a cold and experienced some altitude sickness, and the guesthouse owner gave us medicine! In short, I recommend this guesthouse to everyone visiting Xiahe! The only downside was that our trip was a bit rushed, so I didn't take many photos of the guesthouse.

This hotel is located on the 18th floor. The entrance was a bit messy, but I really like the hotel. It has a large screen TV, refrigerator, automatic toilet (the bidet didn't work because I wasn't familiar with how to use it), free drinking water, and automatic curtains. It's almost perfect.
