GGuest UserAlthough the newly opened B&B is not rated high, it is definitely a five-star hotel with five-star configuration, super warm bedding, and small items from L'Occitane. An independent courtyard, a large terrace, and endless snow-capped mountains are beyond the movies.

Xiahe County to the hotel one-way pick-up service: before the people arrived, the enthusiastic little brother came out to greet us and help us with our luggage. Crossing an alley, the white courtyard came into view. As soon as we entered the door, the white Hada offered blessings, and the hall was decorated in Tibetan and tonal Western style, so that we all immersed ourselves in it. When we opened the door, the pure intelligent welcome language and lighting, accompanied by elegant music, the curtains were also slowly opened, and the clean and orderly room layout made me have a brand new understanding of the stay of Xiahe more than ten years ago. If you also come to Xiahe, if you still choose, you can be decisive. Don't hesitate to choose here, it is definitely Gesanghua ✈️ (ˆ◡ˆ✿) on the road of travel.

Location and Natural Beauty
The hotel is nestled on the edge of the Sangke Grassland, offering vast grassland scenery as soon as you step out the door. On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip.
Service is in the Details
What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of ”hotel service.”

GGuest UserIt's in a small town, close to Xiahe Labrang Monastery and Sangke Grassland. The surrounding scenery is nice, the girl at the front desk is very friendly, and there's a man who I don't know if he's the boss or something, but he's also quite friendly. The only downside is that it gets quite noisy around 6 in the morning, and I don't know if it's the guests or the waiter... I forgot to take pictures. Overall, it's okay.

The front desk that night was very responsible and saw that there was no solution, so they arranged the best suite for us and helped us carry our luggage. A newly opened hotel ． started to paint a clean ． after check-in was amazed by the design of the hotel ． The lobby is very chic ． The room is clean, bright and tidy ． The service is also very good and responsive ． The breakfast every day is very rich ． Really I am glad to have my own choice ． and I will continue to 😀 next time.

GGuest UserIncredible stay at the Xicheng Inn. The hotel is very cozy with fascinating decor. I loved spending time in the third-floor library, filled with cultural artifacts, games, and books – you'll never get bored! The hospitality from the hotel staff is also unmatched. I stayed alone but never felt lonely. They take guests on walks around the city to discover ******* culture. I recommend staying here not only for the comfort of the hotel but also for the wonderfully warm atmosphere.

GGuest UserThe dorm was very clean and equipped with a kettle, which was nice. I was the only guest during my stay. As mentioned in the other reviews, the dorm is located in the basement and you have to walk a bit to reach the toilet.
The „shower“ is located across the front desk. It’s a small room where the hotel is storing their cleaning equipment, so showering there is a quite dirty and unpleasant experience. As there are so many dorms in the basement (I would guess 50+ beds), I wonder how they would handle the situation if the hotel is fully booked.
Overall I would recommend staying there for one night, if you are not picky.

AAnonymous UserWhen we arrived at Sangke Grassland, we just moved in. It rained heavily and encountered the biggest hailstorm in more than ten years. We hid in the Haidilao Bubble House. The rain stopped an hour later and the temperature dropped to 4 degrees in an instant. Thank you to the electrician for repairing the electricity and allowing us to stay there. After eating hot pot on the prairie night, my whole body felt warm. There is heating in the Starry Sky House, but I was worried that it would still be rainy the next day. Unexpectedly, I woke up at 7 o'clock in the morning and saw the groundhog that I missed so much. I fed him snow cakes and apples, and they clicked in front of you. It was so healing, and the sun slowly came out. , the temperature has also increased, grassland, blue sky, white clouds. The housekeeper is also very enthusiastic. If you have any needs, just call in the group.

The hotel is right next to the entrance of the monastery and most rooms have a nice view of the lively main street and the mountains behind. The rooms also have built-in heating so the room is not cold during the colder months. The bed is very comfortable. Staff doesn’t always speak English but they are very friendly. The hotel is a little bit outdated, but I think it is one of the best places to stay in Xiahe because of the location and it offers everything you need.
