Traveling by car, the front desk staff helped me park it for free. I didn't even have to touch my luggage; the front desk brought it all to my room. The room was super clean, with all smart facilities, and a really comfortable balcony overlooking the river. In the evening, I enjoyed the river breeze, had a cigarette, and savored the unique charm of the ancient town. The room also had a hot spring bath, so I bought a bath bomb and had a really relaxing soak. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows! It's clear the owner is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about their guests. In the morning, the owner invited us to tea and explained the history and attractions of the ancient town. The owner is clearly very passionate about their hometown and a perfectionist. It felt like I was treated like an old friend here. Highly recommend!

The hotel room was the best of my entire Yunnan-Guizhou trip. It was very close to the bustling ancient street, making it convenient for dining. From the room, I could see the river and bridge, giving it a bit of a Fenghuang feel. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and clean. They even provided snacks and drinks. The owner called me in advance to send me his location and came to pick me up at the intersection. I'll definitely come back next time.

The room facilities are complete, clean and tidy, and the environment is elegant and comfortable. It's right by the river, offering a river view, and close to Zhusheng Bridge, with many local snacks nearby. The boss and the front desk staff are very friendly, warm, and attentive. They also provide a pick-up and drop-off service with a small electric tricycle. I highly recommend staying here.

The name is actually ”shang study”, and when you step into the courtyard, you will be surrounded by the ancient charm of the courtyard. Two-story old wooden buildings have been precipitation for a hundred years. The log beams and columns and carved windows have their own heavy story sense. There is no commercial noise, the small courtyard is quiet and healing, sitting on the terrace and blowing the evening breeze, overlooking the entire lighted ancient city, healing all the fatigue of the journey. The proprietress is gentle and kind, treats guests delicately and thoughtfully, takes the initiative to share the story of the ancient city with tea, and will also avoid the pit. The room is fully equipped, the ancient carved wooden bed is comfortable and sleepy, and the sanitary details are full. There is no need to catch up with the itinerary here. You need to drink tea, blow the hair, watch the mountains and water. It is the only slow life in Zhenyuan. It has been recommended to friends around you.

Okay so for anyone that need a great place for healing or just enjoying the peace, guys please come to zhenyuan 😭😭😭! 1. Location Okay to be honest this place is a little bit far from the railway station but who cares?!!!! ITS SOOOOO PRETTY AND AMAZING WITH THE MOUNTAINS AND RIVER VIEWWWW 😭😭😭😭 (I CANT MOVE ON FROM THIS PLACE) + So from the railway station,you can just ride a taxi or just give a chance to ride the wooden bus,it's soooo amazing hahahaha it's new to me,but its soo fun! (Check for the bus number 3 or 1 or 2) + The location is literally nearby the amazing cave so you can just chilling around while having a morning walk nearby! + For Muslims, I'm sorry but you really need to be redho as it's kinda hard to find halal food here,and our alternative is only by cooking eggs and eating bread and kiwis which is not bad tho! But you can find tons of seafood meal around the area(but both of us were too lazy to ask for the ingredients of the food so we just play safe and eat fruits(healthy diet haha) 2.Room Should I even say how amazing the view?!!!! It's sooooo nearby the famous bridge and night time? Oh god we even have a photoshoots at our balcony (cause the view is sooo crazy) + The room is sooo cozyy and the toilet have bidet! (Just someone come from a country that have bidet hahaha) + The balcony is everything! We had a sandwich and sipping some tea while looking at the amazing view,oh god it's sooo precious 3. Service!!!! + The laoban and his wife is soooo sweet😭😭😭 I want to cry! They are so helpful and his wife even gave us fruits to munch while we were walking huaaaaaa so sweet😭😭😭 love youuuu! + We arrived at the hotel and need to use the stair (we got the 3rd floor) but the laoban help us with our dang heavy luggage,so thankful!! + At our last day,he help to sent us to the nearby area and book a taxi for us,I'm so greatful for the help and kindness!

Our last stop in Qiandongnan was Zhenyuan Ancient Town. This guesthouse is located right in the scenic area, and parking is free. The owner was incredibly nice, helping us with our luggage and getting us settled into our room. She also gave us tips on how to best explore the area. Coming back in the evening wasn't a long walk at all, which was super convenient. The guesthouse itself is well-equipped and very clean. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby, making it a really convenient stay. The night view from here is also quite spectacular.

Zhenyuan Ancient Town is really a peaceful and beautiful place. The picture was taken in my room. I can see the Consecration Bridge directly from the balcony, which is quiet in the bustle. The location is perfect and it's very quiet to sleep. I must say that the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable! We booked two rooms and slept extremely well! The bath water is very large. Although the room is a bit small, it is very clean. The bathroom is quite old. It is recommended to renovate the bathroom. Fortunately, the wet and dry parts are still separated. The linen is also old and it is recommended to replace it. I would like to give special praise to the handsome boss. He called us in advance to ask if we were driving, helped arrange a parking space, and took us from the B&B to the parking place in the rain. Thank you very much! My daughter said he looks very handsome like Daniel Wu, except his hair is a little thinner, haha, don’t be angry, Daniel Wu! If you come to Zhenyuan again, you will definitely book here again!

My stay at ”Qingniao Qimeng Riverside Inn” in Zhenyuan truly exceeded my expectations. The room was brand new, with tasteful color schemes, a clean and bright atmosphere, and very comfortable beds. The decor was simple yet sophisticated, with attention to detail evident in every aspect. The innkeeper was also very friendly and polite. The best part was that it even had an elevator! This is rare in waterfront buildings in an ancient town, making it incredibly convenient when you have a lot of luggage. The room also had a huge balcony with amazing views. During the day, you could see the entire Wuyang River, and the night view was absolutely stunning—the stilted houses on the opposite bank lit up, their reflections shimmering on the water, creating a truly atmospheric scene. In the morning, sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee and listening to the river was so relaxing. Overall, the stay was quiet and comfortable, with the environment, views, and convenience all scoring full marks. Highly recommended, especially for travelers who want to relax in Zhenyuan and slowly appreciate the river views.

Very satisfied with this stay! The location of the inn is very good to find. Take the 2 yuan tourist bus from the train station to the satellite bridge station and get off and walk back 20 meters. It is about 300 meters away from Zhusheng Bridge and Shiping Mountain Scenic Area. It is very close to the walk, and the surrounding life is convenient. The room was cleaned very clean, there was no smell, the bedding was soft and comfortable, hot water, air conditioning, WiFi were very powerful. The decoration is antique and fits the charm of the ancient city, the lighting is super good, and the sun shines in during the day is particularly healing. The shopkeeper is enthusiastic, the communication is smooth, the check-in process is simple and worry-free, and the precautions are reminded intimately. Spacious space, suitable for friends/family, super cost-effective, highly recommended to everyone!

We have a wonderful stay after a long ride from Guiyang. Received by a sweet and helpful young girl who help us with our itinerary before we start going around the old town. Her reply to our WeChat queries is always immediate whenever we have issue. We are so thankful to the young boss who upgrade our stay and he shared with us about ZhenYuan. He also help us to book our ride to Kaili. Will visit ZhenYuan again for the next Dragon Boat Festival.
