I had an excellent stay here during my visit to Zhenyuan Ancient Town. The owner was incredibly thoughtful and hospitable. She took the initiative to pick me up when I arrived and even drove me out of the scenic area when I left, which made traveling with luggage so much easier. She also provided complimentary snacks, a thoughtful gesture that made me feel truly welcomed. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after exploring the beautiful ancient town. What stood out most was the genuine hospitality. The owner went above and beyond to make sure my stay was smooth and enjoyable. If you’re visiting Zhenyuan Ancient Town and want a clean, comfortable place with exceptional service, I highly recommend staying here. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Traveling by car, the front desk staff helped me park it for free. I didn't even have to touch my luggage; the front desk brought it all to my room. The room was super clean, with all smart facilities, and a really comfortable balcony overlooking the river. In the evening, I enjoyed the river breeze, had a cigarette, and savored the unique charm of the ancient town. The room also had a hot spring bath, so I bought a bath bomb and had a really relaxing soak. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows! It's clear the owner is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about their guests. In the morning, the owner invited us to tea and explained the history and attractions of the ancient town. The owner is clearly very passionate about their hometown and a perfectionist. It felt like I was treated like an old friend here. Highly recommend!

The name is actually ”shang study”, and when you step into the courtyard, you will be surrounded by the ancient charm of the courtyard. Two-story old wooden buildings have been precipitation for a hundred years. The log beams and columns and carved windows have their own heavy story sense. There is no commercial noise, the small courtyard is quiet and healing, sitting on the terrace and blowing the evening breeze, overlooking the entire lighted ancient city, healing all the fatigue of the journey. The proprietress is gentle and kind, treats guests delicately and thoughtfully, takes the initiative to share the story of the ancient city with tea, and will also avoid the pit. The room is fully equipped, the ancient carved wooden bed is comfortable and sleepy, and the sanitary details are full. There is no need to catch up with the itinerary here. You need to drink tea, blow the hair, watch the mountains and water. It is the only slow life in Zhenyuan. It has been recommended to friends around you.

The room was as advertised. Comfortable bed, spacious and clean. Our room was on the 5th floor and we had a great view of the river and the bridge. The only issue was that the shower door couldn't close properly (I think it wasn't installed correctly) but it wasn't a big problem because the shower area was big enough to contain the splashing. The staff were friendly and helpful despite my limited Chinese. They made an effort using a translation app to be sure they understood what we needed and helped us book a taxi to the train station.

Okay so for anyone that need a great place for healing or just enjoying the peace, guys please come to zhenyuan 😭😭😭! 1. Location Okay to be honest this place is a little bit far from the railway station but who cares?!!!! ITS SOOOOO PRETTY AND AMAZING WITH THE MOUNTAINS AND RIVER VIEWWWW 😭😭😭😭 (I CANT MOVE ON FROM THIS PLACE) + So from the railway station,you can just ride a taxi or just give a chance to ride the wooden bus,it's soooo amazing hahahaha it's new to me,but its soo fun! (Check for the bus number 3 or 1 or 2) + The location is literally nearby the amazing cave so you can just chilling around while having a morning walk nearby! + For Muslims, I'm sorry but you really need to be redho as it's kinda hard to find halal food here,and our alternative is only by cooking eggs and eating bread and kiwis which is not bad tho! But you can find tons of seafood meal around the area(but both of us were too lazy to ask for the ingredients of the food so we just play safe and eat fruits(healthy diet haha) 2.Room Should I even say how amazing the view?!!!! It's sooooo nearby the famous bridge and night time? Oh god we even have a photoshoots at our balcony (cause the view is sooo crazy) + The room is sooo cozyy and the toilet have bidet! (Just someone come from a country that have bidet hahaha) + The balcony is everything! We had a sandwich and sipping some tea while looking at the amazing view,oh god it's sooo precious 3. Service!!!! + The laoban and his wife is soooo sweet😭😭😭 I want to cry! They are so helpful and his wife even gave us fruits to munch while we were walking huaaaaaa so sweet😭😭😭 love youuuu! + We arrived at the hotel and need to use the stair (we got the 3rd floor) but the laoban help us with our dang heavy luggage,so thankful!! + At our last day,he help to sent us to the nearby area and book a taxi for us,I'm so greatful for the help and kindness!

A quaint,i think should be called homestay,run by a middle aged couple with excellent service.place was very clean (i think they had a recent renovation) Mu room had a balcony with a view of the zucheng bridge(i hope i got that right). The towels provided has a funny feel😄😄 They offered free flow of bottled water. The place is just within a few minutes of the main street of the ancient town with plenty of eateries(though i feel they more or less offered the same stuff). The whole street where this place is located are full of such small hotels. This place is worth a 2nd stay if you are in zhenyuan again

I came to Zhenyuan Ancient City for two days and one night, and finally chose the right inn. Mr. Cao at the front desk was friendly and kind, and was happy to explain how to visit the ancient city. The room was very clean and furnished in an antique style. The water pressure for showering is first-rate, and taking a shower is very comfortable and enjoyable. Sitting on the balcony of the room by the water, looking at the beautiful ancient bridge of Zhenyuan, with different scenery in the morning and evening, it feels really great! The location of the inn is very good, there are many restaurants within a short walk. In the folk music cabin opposite, the singing of male and female singers is elegant and unique, very pleasant and attractive. In short, this inn is the best choice for my trip!

The room has a superb view. Wuyang River is in front of you. People come and go downstairs. There is a quiet movement. Sitting in front of the terrace in the house makes people feel comfortable. The bedding in the house is clean and tidy. The bathroom is great. The boss is very enthusiastic. The boss personally helps with the luggage. It makes people feel at home. Trust me to come to the green bird. You will be comfortable. Happy at night, sitting on the terrace and feeling the beauty and breeze of the Wuyang River really makes you linger on the ancient city of Zhenyuan, this millennium ancient city. Come on, you will fall in love with this homestay and sit in the ancient city. The heritage is full!

Very satisfied with this stay! The location of the inn is very good to find. Take the 2 yuan tourist bus from the train station to the satellite bridge station and get off and walk back 20 meters. It is about 300 meters away from Zhusheng Bridge and Shiping Mountain Scenic Area. It is very close to the walk, and the surrounding life is convenient. The room was cleaned very clean, there was no smell, the bedding was soft and comfortable, hot water, air conditioning, WiFi were very powerful. The decoration is antique and fits the charm of the ancient city, the lighting is super good, and the sun shines in during the day is particularly healing. The shopkeeper is enthusiastic, the communication is smooth, the check-in process is simple and worry-free, and the precautions are reminded intimately. Spacious space, suitable for friends/family, super cost-effective, highly recommended to everyone!

We went out for dinner on the night of check-in and were trapped by heavy rain and couldn't go back. The owner took the initiative to send us an umbrella, which was very considerate when we were away from home.
