Traveling by car, the front desk staff helped me park it for free. I didn't even have to touch my luggage; the front desk brought it all to my room. The room was super clean, with all smart facilities, and a really comfortable balcony overlooking the river. In the evening, I enjoyed the river breeze, had a cigarette, and savored the unique charm of the ancient town. The room also had a hot spring bath, so I bought a bath bomb and had a really relaxing soak. The bed was incredibly comfortable, especially the pillows! It's clear the owner is very thoughtful and genuinely cares about their guests. In the morning, the owner invited us to tea and explained the history and attractions of the ancient town. The owner is clearly very passionate about their hometown and a perfectionist. It felt like I was treated like an old friend here. Highly recommend!

The hotel room was the best of my entire Yunnan-Guizhou trip. It was very close to the bustling ancient street, making it convenient for dining. From the room, I could see the river and bridge, giving it a bit of a Fenghuang feel. The room was spacious, well-equipped, and clean. They even provided snacks and drinks. The owner called me in advance to send me his location and came to pick me up at the intersection. I'll definitely come back next time.

The room facilities are complete, clean and tidy, and the environment is elegant and comfortable. It's right by the river, offering a river view, and close to Zhusheng Bridge, with many local snacks nearby. The boss and the front desk staff are very friendly, warm, and attentive. They also provide a pick-up and drop-off service with a small electric tricycle. I highly recommend staying here.

I visited Zhenyuan Ancient Town in Guizhou this May, and before arriving, I compared several B&Bs and hotels. I ended up blindly choosing 'Fanyun Shanshe' and it felt like striking gold! Here's what I'd like to share with anyone planning a trip: After booking, the host proactively called me early to confirm directions and even drove to the parking lot to pick us up and drop us off at the hotel entrance. When we left, the lovely owner also helped us transport our luggage to the street – so thoughtful and kind. The entire room features floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the Wuyang River. From the room, you can see both Qinglong Cave and Zhusheng Bridge. Zhenyuan evenings in May are incredibly cool and pleasant. Sitting by the window and watching the myriad lights illuminate on the opposite bank felt like a 'real-life Spirited Away.' The view alone makes the room price worth it! The B&B's cleanliness standards are top-notch. The overall room style is a vintage wabi-sabi aesthetic with beige tones. The bedding is soft and clean, and I particularly loved how spacious and separate the shower room was, with hot water coming on very quickly. All the bathroom fixtures are from well-known brands. The B&B offers both the tranquility of a secluded retreat and is super close to the main scenic spots! You can walk to Zhusheng Bridge, Qinglong Cave, and Shiping Mountain in just 3-5 minutes. The next morning, I climbed Shiping Mountain and gazed at the entire city from above – the 'Bagua City' truly lives up to its reputation!

Okay so for anyone that need a great place for healing or just enjoying the peace, guys please come to zhenyuan 😭😭😭! 1. Location Okay to be honest this place is a little bit far from the railway station but who cares?!!!! ITS SOOOOO PRETTY AND AMAZING WITH THE MOUNTAINS AND RIVER VIEWWWW 😭😭😭😭 (I CANT MOVE ON FROM THIS PLACE) + So from the railway station,you can just ride a taxi or just give a chance to ride the wooden bus,it's soooo amazing hahahaha it's new to me,but its soo fun! (Check for the bus number 3 or 1 or 2) + The location is literally nearby the amazing cave so you can just chilling around while having a morning walk nearby! + For Muslims, I'm sorry but you really need to be redho as it's kinda hard to find halal food here,and our alternative is only by cooking eggs and eating bread and kiwis which is not bad tho! But you can find tons of seafood meal around the area(but both of us were too lazy to ask for the ingredients of the food so we just play safe and eat fruits(healthy diet haha) 2.Room Should I even say how amazing the view?!!!! It's sooooo nearby the famous bridge and night time? Oh god we even have a photoshoots at our balcony (cause the view is sooo crazy) + The room is sooo cozyy and the toilet have bidet! (Just someone come from a country that have bidet hahaha) + The balcony is everything! We had a sandwich and sipping some tea while looking at the amazing view,oh god it's sooo precious 3. Service!!!! + The laoban and his wife is soooo sweet😭😭😭 I want to cry! They are so helpful and his wife even gave us fruits to munch while we were walking huaaaaaa so sweet😭😭😭 love youuuu! + We arrived at the hotel and need to use the stair (we got the 3rd floor) but the laoban help us with our dang heavy luggage,so thankful!! + At our last day,he help to sent us to the nearby area and book a taxi for us,I'm so greatful for the help and kindness!

Our last stop in Qiandongnan was Zhenyuan Ancient Town. This guesthouse is located right in the scenic area, and parking is free. The owner was incredibly nice, helping us with our luggage and getting us settled into our room. She also gave us tips on how to best explore the area. Coming back in the evening wasn't a long walk at all, which was super convenient. The guesthouse itself is well-equipped and very clean. Plus, there are plenty of dining options nearby, making it a really convenient stay. The night view from here is also quite spectacular.

What a beautiful place. As soon we arrived in our room we decided to stay for one more night. The owner is very responsive, helpful and easy to communicate with. He did everything to help us, even booked a transport for us, because there was no bus on our departure day😍😍 We have got a room upgrade and it was amazing, there is a big window with the river and Pagoda view, even when you are laid in the bed. The hotel is 8min walking from the old village gate and 5min from the main road. The Room was great, and very Comfy, with everything we needed. There is free water, and tea on the main hall. Also they offer for free a wash machine for clothes if you want. The terrace on the roof top flor was gorgeous.

Zhenyuan Ancient Town is really a peaceful and beautiful place. The picture was taken in my room. I can see the Consecration Bridge directly from the balcony, which is quiet in the bustle. The location is perfect and it's very quiet to sleep. I must say that the bed and pillows are extremely comfortable! We booked two rooms and slept extremely well! The bath water is very large. Although the room is a bit small, it is very clean. The bathroom is quite old. It is recommended to renovate the bathroom. Fortunately, the wet and dry parts are still separated. The linen is also old and it is recommended to replace it. I would like to give special praise to the handsome boss. He called us in advance to ask if we were driving, helped arrange a parking space, and took us from the B&B to the parking place in the rain. Thank you very much! My daughter said he looks very handsome like Daniel Wu, except his hair is a little thinner, haha, don’t be angry, Daniel Wu! If you come to Zhenyuan again, you will definitely book here again!

My stay at Zhenyuan Linjiang Homestay exceeded all expectations! The room directly faces Zhusheng Bridge and Qinglong Cave, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the ancient town's scenery right from the balcony. The view is absolutely stunning. The room decor is simple and clean, with soft and comfortable bedding, and the entire lighting design creates a warm ambiance. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, equipped with a smart toilet and a full range of toiletries – the attention to detail is truly impressive. The location is right in the heart of the ancient town, with a riverside promenade just outside the door, making it incredibly convenient for exploring, dining, and sightseeing. The service is thoughtful and attentive, and the overall environment is peaceful and pleasant. Waking up to the beautiful mountains and waters, and watching the ancient city lights in the evening, makes this an absolutely perfect place to stay for a vacation in Zhenyuan. Highly recommended!

Charming accommodation decorated in Turkish style with exceptional service! Convenient location adjacent to the Ancient City but tucked away on a quit street allowing for peaceful rest at night. Charming room in historical building but with modern amenities. The owner speaks English well and gets out of his way to help his guest. Anander, the owner, walked to taxi with me and got taxi for me since it was a busy time during National Holiday. He is very attentive providing cold water during the hot days. The owner helped contacting my next hotel and gave advice for easy transportation with following up late to make sure I got safely to the next hotel. Best service I ever had traveling in China!
