LLiuMingGreat value! The location is ideal. Any closer to the bridge and you don’t get the full view of it. It’s also in the quieter and scenic side of the bridge, which to me is a huge plus. And if you want the nightlife and the music of just walk 5-7 minutes into town.
The room was small, but the amazing balcony made up for it. I must have sat out there for 2 hours just soaking up the view. The staff were nice and responsive. Picked me up from the parking lot and helped my luggage up 5 floors!
Certainly you will find more upscale places, but they will generally be at least 200 RMB or $30 more. I think the price to performance ratio is good for Zhenyuan.

GGuest UserThe location of the homestay is very convenient, and you can reach various attractions within a few minutes' walk. I am most satisfied with the hygiene. The room is clean and comfortable, with good lighting, and the details of the bed are also well done. Especially the warm reception of the landlord. When we arrived, the landlord personally greeted us and introduced the tourist attractions and food recommendations in Zhenyuan in detail. Later, whether answering questions or providing help, the landlord was very patient, very good! u1s1, the night view is really good, I recommend friends who come to play to go out and visit the night view at night

GGuest UserI chose Gui Lai Xi based on the ratings, and it exceeded my expectations! The hotel's design is innovative, with a white aesthetic that feels particularly warm and stylish. It has a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere, especially since you can see Zhusheng Bridge and Qinglong Cave from the room windows. Facing the bustling crowds outside, it’s quite a pleasant experience.
The hotel's location is fantastic; it's close to the riverbank, the ancient alleys, and the intangible cultural heritage food street. Zhenyuan's nightlife is beautiful, and it's most enchanting when the lights first come on in the evening. Standing on the hotel's rooftop terrace at that time, you truly see a river of lights and a city full of tenderness.
What's more, the hotel owner is incredibly nice. When we couldn't get a taxi on our departure day, the hotel helped us call one. Because the small town's alleys were under renovation and the taxi was momentarily stuck, the owner personally drove us on an electric scooter to meet the taxi, ensuring we arrived at the bus station smoothly.
In short, Zhenyuan is a place I'd definitely visit again, offering beautiful scenery, delicious food, and wonderful accommodation.

After a phone call, the landlady will add you on WeChat. After 2 PM, someone will be dispatched to guide you to parking and transport you to the guesthouse. They will also help with your luggage. Before 2 PM, you can drive to the guesthouse entrance to drop off your luggage. Free water, drinks, snacks, disposable toilet seat covers, and bathtub liners are provided. Zhusheng Bridge is right outside the window, very convenient.
The rooms and bathroom are large, with plenty of hot and cold water and no clogged drains.
There's a breakfast shop right across the street.
I would definitely choose this place again next time!

GGuest UserSince cars aren't allowed inside the ancient town, we had to park in an outside lot. The owner personally drove a motorized three-wheeler to pick us up and help transport our luggage. The river view at night is absolutely breathtaking, and sitting on the balcony enjoying the breeze was wonderfully relaxing. This area within the ancient town is incredibly quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful sleep. What's more, it's super convenient – just a few steps downstairs and you're right in the bustling heart of town.

CCY TooI pleasantly enjoyed my stay. The room was decorated well and a wide range of amenities were provided. The room was very clean and finished well to the final touch. Furthermore, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The most important, the room had a great view of the main bridge and is very near to other attractions like the museum. Overall, I properly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely book this hotel again if I ever come back to Zhenyuan Ancient City. It is very worth it and exceeded my expectations.

JJanet, MalaysiaThis homestay is located right at the opposite of Qinglong Cave. From the balcony, we have a closeup view of the Zhusheng Bridge, day and night. We kept the curtain open the entire time as the view is absolutely beautiful.
Thank you to the homestay owner who is very friendly and easy to talk to. She picked us up with her cute mini 'car' from the main street as we had 2 heavy luggages. We called her using the free Internet call feature from Trip.com as we didn't have a local phone number. Apparently, the main ancient city street is closed off from cars at certain hours of the day. She was also helpful to contact the taxi driver to send us to the train station on our departure day. There is no Didi service in Zhenyuan city so we had to rely on the local taxi.
It's a fuss-free homestay of which we enjoyed very much. Clean, hot shower, comfortable bedding, usual hotel amenities and the absolutely beautiful view from the balcony.

The receptionist, Ms. Wang, is exceptionally warm and attentive. The guest rooms are spacious and bright, with a cozy and elegant ambiance. The bedding is spotless, and the mattresses are soft and comfortable. The bathrooms feature a separate shower and toilet, ample hot water, and are thoroughly clean.

From the beginning of the hotel, the boss was very enthusiastic, the check-in speed was very fast, and the intimate introduction made people feel very kind. I also helped to contact the car that went to the river, almost couldn't come back, and the boss actively dealt with it. The boss is great! !
The room was very clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and it was very relaxing as soon as I lay down, and I slept very well at night. The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry, the toiletries are complete, the hot water supply is sufficient and stable, and the details can see the hotel's intentions.
In addition, the sound insulation of the hotel is good. Although it is on the side of the road, it is not disturbed by the outside noise at all. The overall stay is particularly comfortable.
When I left the store, I also gave a small gift to each person, so hearty! I will definitely choose this one next time I come here, and I will recommend it to my friends the next day.

GGuest UserSpacious comfortable room. Excellent location，only meters from riverfront at a good price and central to shops，popular streets and sights yet quiet fora good sleep. Bathroom was a bit narrow but still worked for me. Squat-type toilet which is very common in Guizhou. Overall great value!
